Since the upgrade to 5.0.1.41, I am unable to play any music on my phones helP!

OK, I'm waiting for an update on your part.

I'm 90% certain that upgrading your BBMessenger wouldn't affect this, but I've seen weirder things happen.

Therefore, if the reset, as I mentioned, does not receive your music playback, to do this:

Use your BlackBerry Messenger feature to back up your contacts, you have now and also do a full backup using the Desktop Manager.

Then, go to Options > Applications and scroll the Messenger app and do not click it, just highlight it. Click Menu > delete and remove the application.

Now, do a restart: with the BlackBerry device powered on, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart.

Finally, use your BlackBerry browser to go to http://blackberry.com/blackberrymessenger and download/install again the Messenger application.

After installation and reboot if necessary, check your instant messaging, or downloads of the application folder.

You can restore your contacts from the application of v.5 BBM or from Office Manager > Backup/Restore > advanced.

    Try going to www.blackberry.com/messenger from your browser and work from there. I have encountered this problem once when I was reviewing only went from a pile and then everything was fine.

    If it is listed in the applications list go ahead and delete it.  Then remove the battery to reboot the device.  Then use your browser of the device, go to www.blackberry.com/messenger and download the application again.

    Hello, I bought my first blackberry a few weeks back and so far I'm in love. How ever I have one question that I havn't found another answer anywere so I registered to post on this.

    I synchronize my "BOLD" between 2 computers both running Desktop manager 4.7 but they say that the bold is software update required before each synchronization. Danish range of Blackberry messenger update same suggestions. Also both pc suggest different upgrades. At first I ignored it, but then I thought that I click on update, but when I did, he went through the entire course of the upgrade and at the end, said that the "BOLD" had not enough memory for the update

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BB Messenger disappeared after update

    I downloaded the new update to Blackberry Device Software v5.0 yesterday, and I discovered that my Blackberry Messenger has disappeared.  Here's what I tried to get it back (and none of them worked):

    1A tried to 'restore' my BBM several times

    2 reset (pull out the battery) on my phone several times

    3. delete the "restore BBM" button/option (which, for whatever reason, deleted my application AppWorld) and re-installed BBM

    My phone details are below.  If you have any suggestions on how I can fix this, please help!  I love BBM and I would like to start using it again.

    I found the fix that works is to remove the app BBMessenger Options > Advanced > Applications.

    Then restart: with the BlackBerry device powered on, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart.

    Once back to the top, then use your BlackBerry browser to go to http://www.blackberry.com/blackberrymessenger and download and install the application again.

    Once completed and restart the device once again, look in the instant messaging or downloads folder.

    First try a battery pull restarts, if it is still impossible to locate and remember it's not hidden, to check that the screen is in the Panel Home screen ALL > press the Menu key and select "Show all icons" or icon to display "." It will show all of the icons that were previously hidden. If you see BlackBerry Messenger icon like grayed then highlight it and press the Menu key and select the icon to display, also search your folders as the Application of Instant Messaging folder, etc..

    If it is still impossible, then try reinstalling the BBM, but first on your homescreen go to Options > device > application management > locate and delete BlackBerry Messenger from this list.

    I made sure that I got everything updated on my Blackberry. Yet the problem persists. I'm on a package version 6.0 of Blackberry Torch 9800 695 (v6.0.0.246, platform 6.4.0.105). When I click "Software updates" under Options, I get: "your BlackBerry is up-to-date.

    Hi guys. I am new to the forum and I'll try to do this quickly. Since I installed the new BBM on my 9700 AT & T, it has a problem giving me my BBM. Sometimes it will not even make a sound alert, change the LED color or allow me to see the new message received unless I can get a glimpse into all my messages (e-mail, text SMS, MMS messages, etc.). Here is an example. I receive an alert by a BBM contact. I can see or see what they typed to me in all my messages, but once I try to view it by clicking on it, it won't be there. It will show only what I typed. So from there, I'll go into options in Blackberry Messenger and change any setting here that forces me to close by saving the new setting. Then when I go back to the message that I can't see, it will be displayed. I constantly have to do this just to show messages in my BBM contacts. Is there a setting that I've screwed up or y at - it something wrong with my Blackberry? I had to downgrade BBM was last updated and I don't want to do that, even when I don't have to.
