BlackBerry Smartphones blackberry turnt off with battery sign with red cross

Yesterday morning my phone completely dead, when I put it on charge a battery sign appears on a black screen with a red cross through it. I tried to load all day then took the battery overnight and its still doing the same thing. If anyone else has had this problem or knows what is the cause? Thank you

Your battery is drained. You can try to connect more time (Yes, I mean more than a day), if the battery continue to receive charges, you will be able to use it normally. Otherwise, you will need to consider ordering a new battery.

    The files offline of Windows 7 users are not available offline. As soon as the user logs off the network, some files and folders appear greyed out with a cross on them.  Offline files is defined in group policy, offline files is enabled on clients, desktop experience is enabled on the servers. This seems to be the only way to re-enable access to these files after you have reconnected to the network.  I have reset the cache.  Any ideas?

    The problem has proved to be a problem of sharing permissions.  Sharing folder redirected to "domain users" should be given "Traverse folder/execute file" and «List of folder/reed» permissions given  Without this set of files and offline files synchronization cannot negotiate the path to the redirected folder.

    Since a few days my battery shows a red cross on it and gives the error no battery detected. now, all of a sudden the icon disappeared and there is no way of knowing whether or not the battery is charging. the start icon displays still no battery detected but the Tablet works for now but do not know for how long.

    Well finally got my charger and replaced. works fine now. no real solution why this happened. hope that the new battery and charger stick out on this great device.

I am back asleep and woke up it was off and everytime I try to turn it on I see the red light and then it starts to load until it reaches the quarter or even less, and it shuts off and restarts with the red light and the loading page... etc. What should I do? I mean my phones not died and I bought a new battery for it, so the problem is not the battery

    If your BlackBerry is still under tension turned off with a black screen, or constantly restarts, follow the instructions below. The only indication of life may be the flashing red indicator light in the upper corner. Nothing seems to wake and Desktop Manager does not recognize that a device is connected.

    (1) make sure that you have Blackberry Desktop Manager installed.

    (2) on your PC, go to start > run and copy and paste the following line exactly (i.e. with quotation marks):

    (3) the Application Loader Wizard will appear - click on "next".

    (5) you should see a list of applications ready to be installed for your Blackberry. Press Next and finish, and that you are well on your way to get your Blackberry to life. Just unplug and let the process finish completely.

    NOTE: If you do not display the list of applications mentioned in step 5 and instead to see the message "the Blackberry Desktop Software has no Blackberry Device Software for the device you have connected to the computer. Contact your wireless service provider or system administrator', then you must download the Blackberry operating system for your support and your device.

    in JDE - Debug - attach to-Pocket
    ignore all dialog boxes
    do the breakpoint
    Start your application on the device

    I just got the blackberry Pearl... and there isn't an option to disable their auto signature "Sent from my BlackBerry® with SprintSpeed Smartphone".  When I go to the e-mail settings (or other parameters in the message section) there is not an option for auto signature or even add a signature.  Any ideas on why it would be or if there is an upgrade that I need to download to be able to disable this option or add a signature?

    I don't use a Blackberry Enterprise Server with this account, but do not know if it matters.

    For some strange reason my Blackberry Torch will not synchronize with iCal.  I have new items entered on iCal which don't tranasfer despite the fact that I have synced to the phone with my Mac.  I am Lion, Blackberry desktop version 2.3.1 and I iCloud off on my Mac.  I tried the device Option forget, deleted iCal calendar items and to set up a new calendar and events imported again.  Still no luck.

    Hi Shirlzz,

    There are a few things that can prevent the matching with the blackberry handsfree:

    1. Peripheral Bluetooth not turned in "pairing mode" before attempting to connect to the blackberry. To put the Plantronics 510 into pairing mode, simultaneously maintain "call control" and buttons at the same time. Please see the user's guide for more detailed instructions. Once in pairing mode, try to add the headset via the blackberry.
    2. COMPUTING policy. If you use blackberry on a Blackberry Enterprise Server, make sure that the policy that has been defined by the administrator of BES to the bluetooth connectivity.
    3. The blackberry could be linked to another handset/headset or PC. You must remove the connection to one of these devices before plugging the Plantronics headset.
    4. Camera malfunction? Try to disable bluetooth, then do a hard reset on the blackberry (leave the device on, remove the battery and reinsert the battery)

    I just got the phone today and I have a problem!

    On text messaging, I try type but it comes up with a long, narrow bar instead of a rectangular shape, and I don't see what I'm typing!

    Then I go back and I CAN see, but it goes back!

    I can't delete texts and I can't see all of the messages with each person.

    AND. My Network DOESN'T work?

    Perform a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most defects and errors of operating system, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.

    This weekend, all of a sudden my independence started to go fast, and then I wasn't getting e-mail messages.  I re-entered all of my emails to att. BlackBerry and removed the battery to restart my phone.  I can send eMails, but do not yet get on my bberry.  Any ideas?

    Finally a solution that worked! T-Mobile and the customer service unfortunately were not able to help, but research in Motion (RIM) my phone manufacturer has solved the problem of e-mail! Apparently, the old version of facebook causes conflicts with the receipt of emails.  You need to go into your Options, Options, advanced, then Applications, then click on Facebook.  Click the menu button, then select modules then scroll down your list until you see "net_rim_bb_facebook".  Beside that, you can see the version number.  You must have version 1.2.0.35

    If you have an earlier version, delete Facebook.  When you remove it, you will be asked to reboot your phone.  When you restart, the facebook icon will be the "desktop" of your phone.  Click on it, and it will take you to the site, so you can download the new version.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not sync with Outlook 2010

    Recently, we have made a number of hardware upgrades on our computer and installed Windows 7 and Office 2010 about 3 weeks ago (no updates full versions). I was unable to sync my BB since then and after reading through the discussion forums have discovered that I am not alone. I downloaded the latest update of the BB which I understand would make my BB and compatible Office.

    I don't know if the problems are related to the office is not compatible and BB or if there is another problem with my computer. This is what I did and meets:

    -downloaded the version of BB 6.0.0.43 update; BB would not recognize Outlook, when I tried to organize my Contacts and address book. I tried to fix it and then uninstall then reinstall this update several times.

    -abandoned and downloaded CompanionLink; Message received error "Click-to-run Outlook has no ability to the API. You must install Outlook on your computer for synchronization. I asked for assistance from CompanionLink, but continue to have no chance. The link 'Add-Ins' in my BB Desktop Software was available when I first downloaded CompanionLink, but has now disappeared and I don't know how to get it back. I tried to fix the update of BB to see if it would solve it.

    -in the BB Desktop Software Applications tab, she says BB 5.0.0 software version 5.0.0 system and Core Application Version 5.0.0. are necessary, but it does not give me the option to install it. I thought that the updated version replaced 6.0.0.43 version 5.0.0. I don't know if this is true or if it is important.

    I don't know if there is a problem syncing between my BB and Outlook or if something else is happening. I'd appreciate any help or advice that can be given. Thank you for the advice,

    FYI - Blackberry cannot synchronize with Outlook if Outlook is in mode "click to run. Follow the link below to get instructions on how to install a full version of Office 2010.
