BlackBerry Smartphones Bluetooth Remote Control stop working

I have a new 8350i and downloaded the new 5.0.0.80 7 (?) version of the software. For some reason, left work after doing this, the ability of my headset Plantronics Voyager 815 to execute commands remotely (answer, hang up, volume, etc.). Has anyone else got a happen to them? What can I do to fix this? Thanks in advance!

Well, I have figured this out by myself...

Removed the battery for 5 seconds - Sprint/Nextel calls this a Soft Reboot - somehow clarified the issue with the bluetooth buttons does not.

I wonder how many times I have to remove the battery in order to free the bugs in the system...

I have a Blackberry Pearl 8220 phone. I had paired bluetooth etc. successfully and have used for months before.  All of a sudden micro Bluetooth stopped working. The caller on the other end cannot hear me. I am able to hear fine appellant.
It is certainly a problem with the phone because I tried two bluetooth headsets. Two of them showed the same symptom with Blackberry but worked on other phones.  Hoping someone thre can help.

With the help of BlackBerry 8220

Tried to do a battery pull several times

Improved using the bb Desktop Manager software

have, check the other threads on this forum.  The 8220 simply comes with a defective bluetooth chip and he dies everyone before too long.  I hope that your phone is still under warranty with T-Mobile, because it's the only way to get this problem RIM on you fixed.  If you don't have T-Mobile, RIM is not concerned.  Even if everyone speaks in even on their own forums, they have not even acknowledged that this is a widespread problem.

  • remote control stops working

I have a 600PC Touchsmart with TV tuner comes with a remote control to control TV channels / volume... etc.

It worked well for about 12 months. Now, the remote control works well when the PC is first turned on, but then stops working after about 20 minutes.  Only, it works again when the PC has been activated and turn it back on.

I replaced the batteries and the remote control - but this happens again - which leads me to think that this is a problem in the PC itself.

This may or may not be connected, but at the same time - the wireless mouse has stopped working and I had to buy a different mouse wth a wireless transmitter, connected to a USB port and now works fine.

Any ideas what could be the problem?

    Hello jjf23,

To see if it solves the problem, follow these steps:

    1. "control Panel."

    2 system.

    3. "Device Manager."

4 expand "controllers of Bus USB"

5 right click on each of the items listed individually and select 'Properties' for each item. If there is a "power management" tab click on it. Make sure that the "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power " unchecked.

6 click on "OK" and "restart" your computer.

If they are not already checked, simply reply with it.

So would ask to visit your neares, Center of BlackBerry services licensed for the treatment of the issue.

I hope that solves your problem!

What is the full message? Sometimes, there is more message... and that 'more' is often useful to better narrow down the possibilities. But if it is, here's a possibility:

    • KB28212 Error "Unable to connect to your BlackBerry ID account" on a smart phone BlackBerry with BlackBerry Device software 7.0

    Good luck

  • BlackBerry Smartphone camera Zoom has stopped working - trackball does nothing. Very strange loophole.

I just take a photo using my Curve 8900 still shot camera feature.

Normally moving the trackball to 12 o clock position zoomed out a bit

and he moving to position 6 oclock zooms back to 01:00 x

But today, I noticed that it works at all.   The trackball works perfectly for scrolling up and down in menu lists.

Also, it works correctly in all directions when you zoom an existing photo.

It's just that the zoom feature when aiming a shot to take the picture just stopped working.

What it is on the resolution makes no difference.  I have mine Superfine value and 2048 x 1536 pixels and Flash and the White Balance both the Automatic value.   I can not even a replacement for zoom as Z touch which is not bringing the function.

Can stop working in the camera, trackball but work in other applications?

    I'm mystified by it.

Hope someone knows what is happening here.

    Dear Plado (that's me!)

Have you tried the phone then next turn once again as in a reboot of the switch?

Yes I tried, but it made no difference.

Have OK you tried to turn off and take out the battery and do a boot cold?

No, but I'll do and see if it makes a difference!

    Doing a job?

Yes he did, and the zoom is now working again and has a level of zoom of 1.0 to 2.0 in increments of. 25 x.

Well I have never! Who would have thought it?

I'm still none the wiser as to why he needed a cold start or why he's stuck without prompting me.

It's just one of those things. A kind of BLOB, with eyeballs that palpitate, just one of those things!

So thank you to all those who felt as you respond to this, the problem is solved, but I still want to know why it stopped working.

  • BlackBerry smartphones my internet suddenly stopped working?

OK, well, it still works on some sites, but on most the websites when I go to them, a box appears that says:

    "HTTP 400 ERROR: bad request.

The server could not understand the page request, or was not able to process for some reason any. Please try loading a different page. »

I don't remember my phone doing so until quite recently.

I checked the Web site on my laptop to make sure that it is a good address, and it is. but for some reason, my blackberry won't go into it.

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

Whenever random strange behaviors creep, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

In addition, it could be that Web sites have been modified so that they are more well interact with the settings inside your BB browser.  You BB browser has many parameters which can interact better wth different websites. More importantly, I think that how your BB identifies a website seems to make the most difference - starting in the browser, press the BBKey, then select Options. In the "Browser Configuration" screen, there are several options that can be useful. "Browser Identification" option is that who I think made the more than difference more often - on mine, I can have my BB identify Web sites as a BB, IE or FF browser, producing different results in websites coded better for one or other of these browsers.

Try fiddling around with different settings to find the combination that best meets your needs. Sorry, but there is no 'best' recommendations for the right combination - everyone's needs are unique, requiring a single solution for them... and only they can find since only they need.

    Hope that helps!

  • BlackBerry smartphone touch screen does not work, 2 phone... Torch = junk

It's my 2nd my first Torch torch touch work stoppeed and ATT sent me another...

Now this torch touchscreen stopped working, so far, I did a reboot hard and soft...

now I can do a factory reset or downgrade...

IM starting to think that the torch is undesirable.

Well, I talked to ATT tech support and I actually finally got through to BB and they open a case and gave me a number of good ticket for 3 days...  The first tech support was a dunce and she told me that 7 hours was taken long to upgrade software, so she told me to unplug and re install...  That solves nothing, only bricked my torch, even though she was right about one thing 7 hours is far too long, but it does not solve anything...

then I recalled in support of BB using my ticket number... and here I actually spoke to somebody who knew what he was doing...  We connected through desktop remotely, and he guided me...

He told me to never update device software when the software asks you to update...  I told him, I was getting a white screen and it says App Error 200...  He told me that we have a clean wipe and install everything new facility...  He has directed to the site from ATT and I DL the latest peripherique.246 software...  Then after it DL'ed I installed;...

then he had me to connect the device again AND GO INTO PROGRAMS CAN record B\LACKBERRY

then find charger, here, he had me select the apps I would like to, and then click Next...

then after 5 minutes it finished loading, he then told me to wait another 10 minutes for the device to reboot and then my torch works!

If anybodys touchscreen doesn't work more or torch is made of bricks, I highly recommend doing this procedure...

I called BB again and had them send me an email for accurate insrucions, so I recorded in case this happens again... Here it is...  Keep in mind first you need access to the ATT site will link you to the site Web de Blackberry and then DL file then open and install and do the following...

Check that the device client software is installed on their computer, or it won't work.

    1. click on the start menu
    2. go in my computer
    3. go in: C:/Program Files/Common Files/Research in Motion/Apploader
    -If its 64-bit windows, it will be C:/Program Files(x86) /Common Files/Research in Motion/Apploader
    4. double-click on "loader.exe" (it may be called "loader" according to windows settings)
    5. a window opens saying "welcome in the application loader wizard." Click next
6 next, where it is written 'Connection' to ensure that either "USB - PIN:" or "USB - PIN: UNKNOWN" appear. ""
    7. click on next. It take a while to connect to the device and then view the Application selection screen.
-L'application selection screen will be a list of application control.
-Items that are checked will be installed, if they do not already exist on the device.
-Items that are not checked will not install, and if they already exist on the device they will be deleted.
    8. ask the customer to scroll through this list and check all applications they know they would like on their blackberry.
    9. once everything looks good, click Next.
    10. click on the Advanced button.
    11. make sure that 'remove all previously installed applications' and "Delete all application data" is checked.
    12. click Next.
    13. If loader.exe asks you if you want to automatically back up and restore data, select "do not automatically backup and restore."
    14. click Next and then finish
15 advise the customer that this process can take anywhere from 20 to 40 minutes, and everything they do during this time is to ensure that the blackberry is connected. The first time that their blackberry starts after this process, it will stay on the screen of the hourglass for about 10 minutes, nothing to worry about.

Once the client can see the home screen of their blackberry, they're OK disconnect.

The customer will have to re - turn on their radio, they can do so by going to manage connections > select Mobile network

  • Where is the Bluetooth Remote Control AV Profile?

I just noticed on 1.3.1 the Blueooth AV Remote Control Profile disappeared from my pre. He was there in the previous editions of WebOS, but now I notice it is no longer available.  Anyone else notice this?  It was kinda cool to have my phone at work and play music stored in my pre on my pc without the noise of wiring and all, so that the controls were directly on my screen.

Found the culprit: drivers of Lenovo.

Apparently, it's a catch-22 with their support for Windows 7.  Yes, they fully take charge Windows 7 on a laptop T61 and provide drivers for everything except the Bluetooth.  They rely on ' Windows built in the stack.  However, the Lenovo has a driver Bluetooth of Windows 7 for the exact same chip, from the T400/500 series.  The notes say not to use the driver Win7 on a T61 (for the same hardware part number!) and to use an older version for Vista instead.

So I ignored their advice, it installed the driver T400, problem is now resolved, there is no error in event log and put a note in the forum of Lenovo to inform them of their bad decision to cut support for Windows 7 for the same material in different laptops.

I can't get my bluetooth to activate 9630 tour on my phone. It has worked before. He repeats to me it is disabled. Please help me if anyone had ideas about what's not here.

    Hello Malikius,

Sorry to hear about your problem. By chance are you connected to BlackBerry® Enterprise Server? If you are connected to BlackBerry® Enterprise Server, then you can have a COMPUTER turning off this feature policy. You can take a look at this blog post to see how to check for an it policy. http://bbry.lv/t64vUj If you have a COMPUTER policy on your device and it is obsolete, then you can follow the steps described in this blog post to delete. http://bbry.lv/AbeCiQ

If you do not have a COMPUTER policy on your device, then this might be a software problem. In this case, we can try to reload the software on the BlackBerry® smartphone to make sure she is running the most recent version and there is no problems with the operating system.

Here's how to make a backup of your BlackBerry smartphone http://bbry.lv/oPVWXc

Once you have saved your BlackBerry smart phone, please follow the link below to complete a clean reload of the BlackBerry smartphone software.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BB Appworld will not work

    Hello

My Appworld recently stop working.  I removed it, updates downloaded BB and download Appworld yet - still does not work.

When I try to click on the links to Appworld I can't do on my phone.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Thank you!

When the BB is back I went to Appworld icon and clicked on it.  Nothing happened.

If you've forgotten anything and it's really the symptom, then please consider these attempts...

If you have PayPal with your AppWorld account, then please check your PayPal - log in since a PC/browser and make sure that the credentials you use it are identical to those that allows you to connect to MyWorld. Also make sure you have set to PayPal all credit cards, are current and valid... we learned that if there is No linked to your account credit card PayPal which is not valid for some reason any (for example, expired), it will prevent the AppWorld purchases finished, even if this isn't the source of funding. In addition, there must be at least a (valid) credit card attached to the PayPal account.

We also heard from some users who report that create a whole new PayPal account somehow corrects things and allows them to make purchases. I don't know why this works, but there are reports it does.

In addition, you can try this sequence:

    (1) to remove from your BB AppWorld

    • KB10040 How to view or delete applications on a BlackBerry smartphone
    • He asks to restart the BB,

    (2) a Batt Pull reboot (power on, remove the battery, wait, insert the battery, wait), even if redundant to the one you did in step 1.

    3) install a new copy of AppWorld (on your BB)

    (4) restart another Batt-sweater

    (5) see if it works now.

    See you soon!
