BlackBerry Smartphones Can I push coordinated phone to Outlook?

My vision of the contact information on the PC ended up corrupted so I created another folder and moved all the Outlook contact data in this folder (as a precaution).

Then I deleted all the data in my Outlook contacts.

I hoped to do was to push data from the Bold 9650 to Outlook, restocking effectively my contacts list.  The data on the phone are good.  However, when I connect to the computer and it Desktop Manager attempts to sync the contacts, it detects all the deleted contacts in Outlook and request if it can delete all contacts on the phone.  I want it doing the opposite, I want that he take the data from the phone and transfer it to Outlook.

Suggestions?

Thank you

Jim

Hello and welcome to the community!

I never really got to do what you say, but I think the first time you connect a new BB to desktop PC/computer software, you can to perform a 1-way synchronization in both directions. Try to say Desktop software 'forget' your BB and then configure it as she, it is new to the desktop software. Oh... and, btw, take a backup as soon as POSSIBLE before you do anything else, just in case...

If this fails, then you can, by using the desktop software, export your contacts to a CSV file that you can then import into Outlook.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Can you select folders to synchronize Outlook?

I see from reading through the posts here that the best way to sync contacts seems to be through Outlook.  I don't have Outlook at home, but I have to work.  My question is, if I created a separate folder under 'Contacts' in Outlook with, for example, "Contacts Blackberry," I can sync my BB with contacts in this folder?

    It'll work, I did.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not dial the phone number of the browser

I "upgraded" to the OS 6.0.  Now my BB does not allow me to click on a phone number I see on the internet and dial.  I have to read the number, memorize, close the browser and manually push in numbers.  UGG...   It's rotten.  Any suggestions?  T-Mobile continues to tell me it is the Web page I'm on, but he is clearly not that.  OS 6.0 is quite the downgrade.  If someone can hear the ugly notifers they call ringtones?  The assistance service directs you to buy ringtones of appworld.  What a pot!  Sell a phone that you can't hear the ringtone.

I solved the problem by getting BlackBerry.  Now, I'm fully functional on a new Android phone.  Good luck.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not get off phone IMEI

I bought a used blackberry (curve 9300). I'm trying to get the IMEI # off the phone so I can't unlock. Whenever I have punched in the #06 # it does not give me the number. Simply says "emergency calls only" so frustrated... I really want to get my phone I put an old machine washing last week!

The IMEI is also located at Options > status, as well as on the white sticker under the battery.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not turn on phone after its been connected to the computer

    Dear users,

Help, please. I have a balckberry bold 9000.  I connected it to my computer, all of a sudden a white screen came on the phone and now I can no longer spend on the phone. even when I connect the power supply, it still doesn't react. presing touches none does not work as well. the phone has just been cut. Help, please.

First of all try to perform a hard reset. Remove the battery for about 30 seconds and replace it. See if the BlackBerry then restarts. If it is still stuck in an infinite loop, you may need to reload the software of the device. Let me know if reset works or not.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not use THIS phone, either... at least not as a phone

I have lived more than a dozen phones last year. Problem after problem with the 8220. This last time, they (T-Mobile) has decided to help and sent me a new phone.

I was actually very happy and said to anyone who would listen that, FINALLY, the phone works.

Today, I tried to call my cousin who is in a nursing home. I said, 'Hi', and still more, and then he hung up. Hmmm... He couldn't hear me.

I called back, and he has not yet hear me. I just assumed that he did not intend by phone... or maybe I had accidentally hit the mute.

I received another call from someone I talk regularly. Nothing.

I called T-mobile (611) and answered the voice prompts. NOTHING.

The phone was working this morning. I can't do ANYTHING with it now. Help! And please help me quickly. We have an election tomorrow, and I work the polls. I need to be able to call the Town Hall

    Hello!

Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

    Best!

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not set up synchronization with Outlook

I just installed the latest BB Desktop Manager (4.7.0.32) but I can not configure it to synchronize with Outlook 2003. When I configure synchronization options (for example, calendar), I can select, select MS Outlook, select 2-way synchronization, select (the only user profile: Outlook), get the window "Congratulated and finally a message that translates by (in Dutch):"Cannot find the file of the table system".» And then, he returned to the window selection for apps (calendar-block-notes, etc.).

I have the BB 8300 Curve, BB 4.5 software (on handheld)

I found this solution that also works for DM 4.7:

    Cause

The error occurred after the release of BlackBerry Desktop Manager 4.2.2 to version 4.3. The upgrade could not remove the connectors folder in C:\Program Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Connectors. Thus, old office applications of Microsoft Outlook are saved with BlackBerry Desktop Manager 4.3.

    Resolution

If the connectors folder is always present in C\Program Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Connectors\MS Outlook Connector, follow these steps:

Unregister the old ilxolkCompanion.fil of Microsoft Outlook Connector.
    1. open the prompt (run-> cmd.exe).
    2. navigate to C:\Program search in Motion\BlackBerry\Connectors\MS Outlook Connector.
    3 type the command regsvr32 u ilxolkCompanion.fil.
    4. in the Desktop Manager, Microsoft Outlook is no longer appears as an available desktop application.
Save the latest Microsoft Outlook Connector.
    1. navigate to C:\Program search Motion\BlackBerry\IS71 Connectors\MS Outlook Connector.
    2. Enter the command regsvr32 msoutlookconnector.fil.
    3. in the Office Manager, Microsoft Outlook will now registered as an available desktop application.

Once these steps have been completed, configure synchronization again.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not sync contacts from office outlook software

I have a nextel 8350, office outlook 07 and desktop version 6.0.1.18 of the software.  Recently, I changed my job and put my new information in my phone and now I work at home so I've never needed before.  my email is sending and reception without problem, my calendar is synchronize perfectly but my contacts will not sync. the synchronization process seems to work by the software (it goes through the motions) but when I look in outlook, no contacts

I looked on the net for the solution possible and even tried most of the things that I saw... nothing doesn't. I just want to get the contacts from my phone is turned off and in my outlook.

not wireless, desktop software w / usb cable

  • BlackBerry Smartphones can not hear the other end to the phone

    Hello

I have a Bold 9900. Lately, I had a problem where I am unable to hear the ringing of the. The phone vibrates and I see an incoming call. When I answer the call, I can not hear the person at the other end of the line, or the other person can hear me. If I try someone sounds, I can't hear their phone ring, but I get the message that we are related, but may not have any conversation. When I do a full power off and restart its new normal.

How can I get rid of this problem?

    Hello docvish,

    Welcome to the community,

As the PC or laptop requires the restart of our smartphone require also restarts to remove slow, whenever you feel any unusual just give a battery pull reboot I have; e while the unit is on the battery wait a min. then reinsert it wait until it restarts. You can also give a soft reboot by pressing alt + Shift R (aA ^) + DELETE.

Also avoid any applications running in the background, press on and hold Menu button for a few seconds, it will appear a screen showing running applications or that are still open., remember always to get out of the applications not only to return the key. Try if solves your problem, or alternatively you can visit any Center of Blackberry service to the issue.

    Good luck
