BlackBerry Smartphones can not add or Edit Contacts from gmail account added by google apps

Time ago I ve used to have only 1 mail account on my blackberry, a Gmail ([email protected]) and google sync (http://m.google.com/sync) allowing to synchronize contacts between the smartphone and the account webmail. It worked like a charm for a long time. At that time, I could create and edit contacts and changes got synchronized in both sites.

A month ago I decided to create an e-mail address with my own internet domain name ([email protected]) through Google Apps, and decided to add this e-mail address to the smartphone to check both accounts. The first surprise came when I noticed that add that email address (using the procedure to add any email address) has caused the BB to activate, as mode of BES, against the gmail server.

Suddenly, I discovered that I can't create or edit contacts in BB, but I can't get into the google apps email webmail interface. The contact created using the web interface is synchronized to the BB.

The problem is that I can't create or edit contacts in the smartphone!

Anyone know something similar to this?

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated

Ariel

While there is no limit on how many contacts you can have on your device, there is a soft limit that you can have as many times as the memory of your device can handle. Check the available memory to see if you have any remaining space. If this isn't the case, then consider cleaning out / uninstallation of some things that you don't need to increase the memory available to more contacts.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not add contacts for BB messenger

I've had my BB for a month now and still can not understand how to use BB messenger.  I tried to add my husband through his PIN code, it receives the message, but nowhere in the e-mail allows to accept or decline the invitation.  I did the same back to my BB with the same process and nothing.  We have each other as being on hold.    What should I do?

You can give them your PIN over the phone, or give them a little trick to discover their own PIN. In a field of electronic mail or a message, type in "mypin" and press the SPACEBAR. This will change for users PIN.

Good luck with that, I had some problems with BBMessenger but it usually resolves.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not add AMEX to Android payroll card

I can't add my Amex for Android. The error is:

Your card could not be added

For more information, contact your bank. You can also try to add another card.

This may seem like a problem Bank/Amex, but I know it's related to the priv. How can I know it? I just added the same Amex card on two other Android phones: my HTC Onre M8 and my LG V10.

For laughs, I called Amex in any case. Spent 30 minutes on the phone with three different departments. They know nothing about this error, and even the tech Department has noted that the map has been added successfully to two other phones and referred me to the phone manudfacturer.

Request a call from the Google Android pay Department and spent 30 minutes more on with them. They also noted that the map has been added successfully to many Android phones and referred me to the manufacturer of the phone.

It was 100% a private question.

    Help, please.

  • BB 9700 blackBerry smartphones can not add Hotmail account

    Hello

I can't add my hotmail on my new BB phone account. I tried a Gmail account and it works fine, I just get an error "application has encountered and error and cannot continue" to my hotmail account. I got in touch with T-Mobile, and they tried to help me, but they told me, after a few tires that BB does not support Hotmail accounts.

    Please help me

Well, I called T-mobile for the 3rd time and finally someone was able to help me to do this way another.

Here's a way to add an e-mail account from your phone other than the use of your phone:

    1. connect to your T-mobile account (http://www.t-mobile.com/)

    2. go to connect and share and find and click configure e-mail

    3. click Set Up Email and add your e-mail account information

I hope that this helps, it took me a few days that this issue is being managed. I couldn't add my Hotmail account on my phone of BB, but I was able to do this via the website of t-mobile.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not send or receive emails from hotmail.

I stopped getting emails from my hotmail on my phone account yesterday and then a message from blackberry, saying that I had to post my email, I did very well and also had recorded my blackberry ID. However, I still can't send or receive my emais and when I try to send it comes up with an error message: "user account is INVALID mode." I changed my hotmail password the other day; don't know if it's important.

In addition, I tried to change the e-mail account set up on my blackberry, but it does not allow me to access the account settings or let me add a new account, the option just doesn't exist or appear, who had not been a problem so far. I could, however, set up a company account if wanted. I do not know who to contact about this thought so I post here everything first...

Any help much appreciated! Thank you

    Hello!

Finally we got to know the problem.

Since there is no EDGE symbol means that you need to call your service provider to activate your package BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS) active or active if re forbade it.

I hope that solves your problem!

If your problem has been resolved then would you be asked to click 'Like' and accept as a 'Solution' that other advisors invest it times on this Message more.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones can not add or Remove Applications using the latest Blackberry Desktop Application, 700_b060_multilanguage.

    1. I was running Blackberry Desktop BBM 610_b038_multilanguage.

    2. I installed it yesterday, 700_b060_multilanguage.

    3. I was offered an update of my device software, 5.0.0.975 I did not because I wanted to take a backup first.

    4. after the backup, when I tried to update, he told me that no updates exist.

    5. after that, when I plugged in the set, I saw many new options in the Application section.

    6. There was a lot of languages and applications such as Facebook obnoxious that I didn't.

    7. I can't be able to add/remove languages, AND other Applications.

    8. I select (+) or clear (x) my required applications and click apply.

    9. something seems to happen, and then I'm back to the same page where I was with the same Applications installed that were there at the beginning. Two options that are at the bottom of the section that tells the actions pending poster always two actions that were there in the first place.

    10. What can I do to remove the additional languages and installed applications and install this than anything I really need?

    Thank you.

PS. I can't have a data Plan on this subject for the next two weeks or so my number is in migration to be a pre paid to a post paid connection that offers services of BB.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not add ringtone

When I try and click on custom in the address book ringtones, nothing happens. The NUM key will appear in the upper right. I can add photos that need me for my files, but I can't in ringtone files via the address book. I can achieve their ends through the media ICON

    Here's what I do:

    1. Home screen
    2. address book
    3. Choose a contact, click it.
    4. Open the menu, select 'Edit '.
    5. Open the menu, select "Add Custom phone Tune".
    6. that adds a new line called 'Custom phone Tune', and on the right a list of all the songs that are in the ringtones folder.
    7. I just click the ALT key to move through the list.
  • BlackBerry smartphones can not assign ringtone by contact

Hi, I tried everything, including the Verizon support call and will have no chance. Anyone know if it is even possible to assign ringtones to a phone number in your contacts list?  I had no problem using a downloaded as my ringtone default ringtone, but it doesn't seem to be a way to assign one to a particular caller.

I should mention that I use the Blackberry Storm.

Help!  I'm really disappointed by this!

    Thank you.

Yes. Open the address book, and then contact you desire to have a specific ringtone > Edit > scroll CUSTOM RINGTONE/ALERTS > phone and he put out there.
