BlackBerry smartphones can not find my Podcast application 'installed '!

I recently updated my operating system to the most recent (I have a curve 8900)

All my apps seem to have survived, but I can't find the BlackBerry Podcast app, which is the one I use more! BB App World, 'my world' shows that this only "installed", but it is not FOUND. I can't even download it again, because when I go to App World, it shows no 'download' option.

Help! Any advice?

Thank you!!

Cariteacher

The mine is located in my media folder, but you probably already checked there, right?

If you don't find it there, go to your downloaded applications (the OS 6, it is Options > device > application management, OS 5 options > Applications).  Once you find it, select it and click on the BB menu key.  Select Delete, and then return to AppWorld and download again.

Let us know if that does the trick.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not open the downloaded applications

I have a blackberry 9360 and it's great, the only problem is that some applications don't download, same if I'll buy them and others will download but does not open "Phone Warrior will not work without the requested permissions" I accept all requested permissions, but it still does not... Can anyone help?

    Hello

If you've got reliable sources (e.g., BBWorld) apps and they are therefore particularly compatible with your device and the OS level, then it is possible that you have a policy COMPUTER on Board that is blocking them. Reference:

    • Article ID: KB30076 How to check for an it on a BlackBerry smartphone policy

If you indeed have a political TECHNOLOGY and are part of a BES and environment, then stop now and contact your BES admins for help... only they can tell you if what you're trying is against them.

If you have a COMPUTER policy and are not part of BES, then the question arises why the it policy exists on your device. In general, it's because you got 2nd hand device and the seller does not correctly clean it... refer:

    • Article ID: KB05099 Steps to take before selling or after the purchase of a used BlackBerry smartphone

But even without the seller, as long as they did everything in their section of the KB, you can always clean the device of the it policy. The process is to destroy everything, please first review the link in my sig auto on this post for a full and proper backup procedure to follow.

Once you have this full backup, to proceed with this:

    • Article ID: KB31291 How to reset a BlackBerry smartphone to factory using BlackBerry Desktop Software Settings

Thereafter, proceed to restore your applications and data, but DO NOT make a full restore... instead, only a selective restore of the databases you really need (e.g., contacts, calendar, etc.) and specifically avoid restore databases that have nothing to do with politics, COMPUTING, business , or anything similar - if restore you those, he will dutifully restore it on your device policy, and you will be right back where you started.

Good luck and let us know!

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not find spots on new blackberry 8320

New family of BB.  are synchronized with Outlook, everything seems to work, but can't find the tasks on the BB.  where is he?

well, I'm not sure, then don't be angry if what I say does not work: you will do the following things:

    (1) download the version of the OS on your device:
Home screen > options > on
There is a number followed by a number in parentheses. For example, I 4.2.2.175.
It can be 4.3.X.X or 4.5.X.X.

    (2) download the USB drivers for blackberry 4.7 (top of this page: SOFTWARE.) Then at the bottom of the page to the right)
    3) install on your desktop
    (3) download the Desktop Manager 4.7 without Media Manager (same place as 2))
    (4) install the DM4.7
(5 download) the operating system which corresponds to 1) here: http://na.blackberry.com/eng/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp
It must be the operating system for your 8320, the exact version.

    (6) install the OS on your PC.
    (7) launch the Desktop Manager, connect your device.
    (8) on the left of the Desktop Manager, there is a section on installing things. Look if you see application tasks and the Notepad application.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not find a recent download?

OK, so I downloaded an app (Greenfinder) and went through the whole process. They then told me the icon appears on my main page, but it did not. They said that if she does not then go downloads and move it. Well when I went to downloads is not there. I looked in every folder and cannot find it. Then, I thought I would download it again in the hope that it could solve the problem. When I went to download it I got a message saying that I have the latest download and did I want to continue and replace it so I did. Even after that I can't find the program. I have sent a message to their tech support but hoped that someone would have a quick fix for me?

    Any help would be appreciated!

First off the coast, on your device, go to Options > Advanced > Applications. Do you not see it listed there?

If Yes, proceed as follows: with the BlackBerry device powered on, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart.

Now, look around again, homesceen, file downloads, applications, etc.

    5. after that, when I plugged in the set, I saw many new options in the Application section.

    6. There was a lot of languages and applications such as Facebook obnoxious that I didn't.

    7. I can't be able to add/remove languages, AND other Applications.

    8. I select (+) or clear (x) my required applications and click apply.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not find the Notification Menu

I have a blackberry Pearl and recently upgraded to 4.5.  After the upgrade, I was move the icons on the home page and somehow successful to delete or lose the Menu of Notification icon (the one where you select the quiet mode, ring for single phone etc.).  I can't go back on this request.  4.5 I tried reinstalling, but he dutifully put my screen up delicate because he was with the missing menu.  The advice is apprecaited.

    Thank you

Make sure that it is not in all cases. You can not remove the icon. You can only hide or move.

Change themes and to see that you can find?

  • BlackBerry Smartphones can not find loader.exe

    Hello
Many references are made to the use of enforcement loader.exe in c:\program Research in motion\apploader when reloading the Blackberry OS instead of using BBDTM.
I am a new user of Blackberry and charge of the BBDTM, version 5.0.1.18, which came with my Bold 9700.
In my c:\program of Research in motion, I have two folders, Blackberry and Blackberry Media Sync. In any of these files or subfolders find loader.exe application.
What is a separate download that I need to install?
If so, please provide me with a link to the download.
    Thank you in advance.

Apparently, you're not in the right directory is part of your problem in order to find the loader.exe.

    C: / / Program Files/common files/Research in Motion/AppLoader

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not find pictures!

First off... thanks to all who answered questions from us beginners. I was able to resolve many issues just to read the messages.

Recently, I got my curve, started taking pictures and received an error message saying that I had run out of memory. I had installed a 8 GB memory card. A user of BB colleague told me to change the 'device memory' option to 'on media card"that I did. Now, I can't find the pictures I took initially. I assumed that they remained in the memory of the device, but I can't find them. Is there a hidden folder or something, I'm not aware I can get them or are they lost?

    Thank you very much!

After trying different things, I finally went to the pictures. It seems that you can not access the photos through the media icon / my pictures. When I've reset the default storage 'device memory', I was able to scroll to the bottom of the menu options and click the folder that contains the path to the memory of the unit and found the images there. If I used the 'images' option in the menu while in camera mode, I was able to choose between either device memory photos or pictures of the media.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not find any application that opens saved contacts

I backed up my contacts from blackberry "BOLD" from my mac. They are saved in the folder my documents, although when I try to open the file I get an error message saying that I don't have an app to open the file. When I try to find an application to open the file such as Word doc, I got another message tells me that the file is corrupted and cannot be opened. What can I do to make sure that the contacts on the phone are actually in my mac?

Yes, it's a backup file, in its own format, not something that you can open in your Mac. It is for the restoration of your contacts to your BlackBerry.

If you want to view your contacts on the Mac, you have to 'sync' of your contact data to some Mac Organizer app like Entourage.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not find application

I recently downloaded an app go to app world, I don't remember what it's called, but I had to get a replacement phone, so I lost the apps I had, I searched for it... This is a free application that analyzes the content of your phone (daily, weekly) and get rid of unnecessary elements and perform better than your phone If I remember well, or something to that effect, I'm sorry it was late and I was tired... If anyone knows what im tryin to find, please help!

You can use the same BlackBerry ID to look for any applications that you downloaded, you simply enter in AppWorld and click on My World and you can find ALL the apps you have downloaded with your BlackBerry ID (those installed or uninstalled) or perhaps use the search feature where you can find the application even under just like tags 'scan' or «scan phone» , she is looking for everything about not only on behalf of the application, but also for the description on this subject, it may be something you can remember on the application name,

    I hope that helps!
