BlackBerry smartphones can not install apps in App World

I recently changed my Blackberry ID email address via a web browser on my PC.  Changes, updates on my Torch 9850 and my Playbook.  I am able to connect on the site of Blackberry ID and my email address is confirmed.  I can't even change my password Blackberry ID of my devices.

When you try to install an application on the Playbook, I get the following error:

"Setup error: [0003-0006] there was a problem during the installation."  Please try again. »

On the Torch 9850, I can not install applications or even open up My World.  I get the following error:

"Blackberry App World is had problems connecting to the server Blackberry App World.  Check your network connections, and then try again. »

It has been several days since this occurring began.  I stopped by a corporate Verizon store on 2/26 and they seemed to think it was a question of RIM, but they don't seem to know much about Blackberry.

All the threads I found point to problems with the Blackberry ID, but mine seems to go well.

Does anyone have a solution?  Thank you.

Troubleshooting further with the support of the RIM has solved my problem.  Here are the steps I took to solve:

  1. Change my Blackberry ID email address to the address of origin of my flashlight.  I then have full access to App World through the torch, Playbook, and web browser.
  2. Created a new Blackberry ID with my new email address to confirm without isue with this address.  I was able to connect via the browser with the new account.
  3. I deleted the new Blackberry ID using the link in the email they sent me.
  4. Change my Blackberry ID email address to the new e-mail address using my flashlight.  The change has been accepted and spread to the Playbook.

I now have the new email address associated with my old ID and access of all devices.

Support said it should work the first time, even from the browser, and they will continue to try to reproduce the problem on their end.

If you have similar questions experiences, try the execution of all changes since the phone.

    Hello world

I have a problem with my BB tourch 9800 and I already have the blackberry service, but I can not use APP World when I open it I get this message (blackberyy APP World is not currently available in your country. Please check blackberry.com appworld for updates). so is there another way to download and install blackberry applications?

    not: iam in Iraq

    operator: Asiacell

Hello and welcome to the community!

Please check this page to ensure that you meet the minimum requirements (including if it is available in your country):

If it is available in your country and you feel you meet the requirements at the level of the device, and then contact your provider to make sure you meet the requirements of the plan (to them) access (via their network) service to AppWorld.

In addition, the latest version of the AppWorld is currently accessible only through your corporate data network - WiFi is not used for access to AppWorld under any circumstances. Therefore, you must subscribe to a sufficient level data plan so that the AppWorld to function.

    • KB23854"a data plan is required to use this feature" sometimes appears in BlackBerry App World

Further still, you should know that AppWorld is simply a portal, vending apps developed mainly by others. Therefore, it is not your exclusive supply source - there are others that you can try:

    • AppWorld in some countries
    • MobiHand worldwide
    • Handango worldwide
    • BPlay worldwide
    • GetJAR worldwide

I found that there are very few applications that is exclusive to AppWorld. You can see the online catalogue and then look for other sources of supply, including quite often on the developer website.

Finally, understand that RIM has no unilateral control over the availability of AppWorld. They must ensure that they and their partners meet local laws and operating a system of e-commerce legislation - and that can take time. AppWorld is in more than 110 countries now and adding more every month.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not download "App World"

I just got a 9700 and when I try to download the app via the Web site world I get the following message.

"SORRY, the item you requested could not be loaded."

    I had it's for 2 days now.

    All ideas

Do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way:

With the BlackBerry powereddevice, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this way is prescirbed for most the gltiches and operating system errors, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.

Now, try to download AppWorld again... from your BlackBerry browser

OK, I can't say enough. But I'm like described KB as a lack of policy is NOT what you have, which means that you have a COMPUTER policy on your device. It's just weird because I've never seen a COMPUTER policy like what you describe, but then of course I have not seen anyone.

So, I think (it's more than that, actually) is that you do indeed have a policy COMPUTER on your device that may well be the reason for the failure of the installation, you encounter.

If it's a working or otherwise associated with certain BES service device, then you need to talk to anyone who provides the BES service on your problem... they control what is the it policy.

If this is not a working device and/or you do not subscribe to any service of BES-level from anyone, then the conjecture is that you have received this camera as previously used, and the previous owner didn't properly clean the it policy, leaving you with a latent policy causing you these problems. To remedy this situation, you must make sure you have a full backup, according to the link in my sig auto on my posts. Then proceed you to this:

    • Article ID: KB31291 How to reset a BlackBerry smartphone to factory using BlackBerry Desktop Software Settings

Once finished, your device will be like new again, with nothing on it... No. data, no added applications, etc. If you continue to restore the backup, do not forget that you DO NOT make a simple full restore... restore instead, only those databases that you need (e.g., contacts, calendar, etc.) and more precisely to avoid any database that have nothing to do with BES, business, political, etc. If you restore that contains the it policy, it he will dutifully restore your BB and you will be right where you are now.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Can not purchase Apps, system error in processing

I posted this problem earlier but by checking on my previous thread through my storm, my big thumb clicked on the button of the Solution, making seems to have been resolved.

Here is a summary of what's going on...

When selecting an App World app purchase and after you have entered the correct login information, App World authenticates successfully with PayPal.  A pop-up window appears saying 'Invisible Determination', about 7 to 10 more seconds later a new popup appears saying "system error.  Please Try Again Later.  Error ID: 10800. "And the transaction never ends.

    • Download free apps has no problem.
    • I checked my PayPal account has of funds and can use PayPal with other stores online.
    • Plug intentionally incorrect login information reveals a name/password invalid message.  It is therefore not my login information.
    • I use a storm on Verizon.  Another person with an AT & T "BOLD" has the same problem.
    • App World uninstalling and reinstalling did not help.
    • I've updated to v1.0.0.27, and the problem is still there.
    • I changed my password to login (someone recommended it, do not think it would work). Opening a session with the new PW did not help.
    • By raising the PayPal API produced 10800 error code "data not valid - your application is too long." Check the URL and other long strings.  However I'm not 100% certain that the return code is the PayPal API.  It could be an error code returned by the device's operating system.

I would REALLY like to help with this problem.

App World v1.0.0.28 corrects this problem for me. YAY!

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not install new applications after upgrade to version 5

Since I downloaded something like "Blackberry OS version 5" on the web and updated my device using the Desktop Manager, I was able to download new applications.

I managed to get the BBM on - the phone would have been useless if not - but no more applications will be downloaded.

Everything seems to work, if I download via the web, or use the Desktop Manager to install applications, there are no mistakes and he said it worked - but there is no icon of the application in a folder.

For example, BB app world: says Office Manager installed, but it is not accessible, because there is no icon anywhere.

My carrier say they can not me more help because it is a question of device.

I got "view all", as well as the icons are certainly not hidden.

I've tried dozens of times battery pull.

I tried a backup using Desktop Manager, then factory reset the device, and then restored - several times.

I tried to uninstall applications through Desktop Manager and install them again.

I don't understand what the settings are meant to be changed after I do a factory reset and restore from a backup.

    Platform: 4.3.0.23

    App version: 5.0.0.90 (91)

Is it possible version 5 does not work with Orange?

After the "Orange UK" link on this page, I see Orange lists v5 for download: http://blackberryfaq.com/index.php/BlackBerry_Operating_System_Downloads

What is the link between these things:

    * office for PC Manager software

    * the platform as shown on the device

    * the version of the application as indicated on the device

I just updated to Version 5, tonight and had the same problem.  I went to the BB mobile site and there is an upgrade to AppWorld available - Version 2.0.0.36 once I downloaded, installed and rebooted, the icon was back and working.  Hope that helps!

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not install free applications has been paid now on PlayBook

    Hello

I can't install the apps I downloaded free now are now paid-for apps on the PlayBook. In AppWorld, I get the following error:

There was a problem during the installation. Please try again

This is a problem because an application cannot be upgraded beyond this point and once uninstalled, there is no way to access it.

Everything that can be done to reinstall these applications?

It's just how the world of App works... And the main reason as a developer will stop developing for the Playbook.

As a developer, you can have promotions where you give your free app.

Anyone who gets the free app no longer considered owners once the app is normal price again. You get access to updates, or the older version of the app if you remove it from your device.

Terrible practice and really does not surprise me why RIM is not one of the leaders in the mobile plus market.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not remove app FB of Blackberry HUB! New Z10

I have the new Bberyy Z10.

I don't want the FB app in my Blackberry hub, actually, I want that he removed completely from my phone. I manually deleted the application from the main application icon pages. Also, I went in 'Management Hub' and clicked off for Facebook in terms of updates. However updates still occur, on my main screen when my phone is locked even! Very annoying.

I'm trying to get rid completely of my phones FB app, especially of the HUB. I searched for a type of 'application manager' mode where I was able to do this in older versions of the Bberry.

    Much appreciated, thanks!

Hello and welcome to the community!

There is no app handler more... the main icon pages are rather than that, so you would place this icon until they all started to vibrate, then let go and select the trash in top/right of the FB icon, then completed the process to remove the application.

But you don't have maybe not deleted real integration account... swipe down from the top, then select settings, then accounts... If FB is in here, delete as well.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones can not find App using my camera, so it does not open.

A week in BB Torch 9860 property and I'm frustrated.

I used the device without incident, and then this morning I emailed to myself in order to have them on my home computer.

NOW - I tried to take another picture and I get a message "camera is used by another app. close the other app and try again. "I can't do anything else that hitting 'OK' to exit the screen.

I pressed the button menu BB and from what I can tell, only the manditory apps are 'we '... HELP PLEASE.

    Thank you

I don't know what app could be causing you to get this message, but if you remove your battery when your phone is turned on, then replace, you should be able to use once more the camera without incident.

    I hope that helps you.
