BlackBerry smartphones can not set up additional e-mail accounts on 8310

I have Setup 3 email accounts on my new BB curve. Unfortunately, when I try to add another account, nothing happens. I'm trying to do on the BB. I have AT & T.

I know it is supposed to be a Web site where I could manage my email accounts, but cannot find it now. (I once found and tried to login, but I was told I could not.) Tried to register, said that there was already someone with the e-mail account. Confusion between.)

Any help for this beginner (within a week) would be appreciated. Thank you.

Glenn, watch this:

Basically, if you have created your account BIS on the BB, you will need to open it from the BB, create a BIS login and pw for the PC... and then you can enter your BIS carrier site of connection of your PC.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not get my Office365 e-mail account set up

I have an e-mail account on Microsoft Office 365 (portal.microsoft.com), and I use Vodafone.  I managed to associate this e-mail address with my Blackberry ID.   When I try to add the e-mail address with my camera that I enter the password by e-mail, and after that "processing, please wait...". "if poster for about a minute I get the message"your device had a problem connecting to the server.  Any advice?

Thanks for trying to help.  I don't know if I could have solved it on my own.  I am in contact with our support of the software company who spoke to me through the establishment.  First I had to download an app called "Enterprise Activation" and run, and then enter the details of my e-mail account, including a password that I would not have known. It seems to work now.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not configure the IMAP e-mail account

I'm trying to update the password IMAP on a Bold 9700, a process I did several times in a recent past.  However, on this particular device, I can't even on the menu for e-mail accounts.  Every attempt causes the message to ianane OS; "Your device had a problem connecting to the server."  I'm then to try again (an endless loop) or cancel.

I think it has something to do with my ISP (AT & T) because I had similar symptoms on another device (same model, w/o business security policies).  I was able to fix on the other device by removing the books of IMAP Service and then by doing a hard reset.  It does not work for BB problem.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!

I used the web interface AT & T to set up the account, and it worked like a charm.  Here is the link:

  • BlackBerry Smartphones can not see/change my e-mail account with Curve 9300

Since a recent problem of provider (Telekom, Germany), I couldn't download programs or receive email through this account. However, all attempts to check and change my e-mail via the Curve 9300 settings failed. Problem: every time it is to go to Einrichten (install) / e mail settings and type my username (= e-mail address), the phone says: "null user name. Please enter a valid user name. " Now, I know that the username is correct because he entered this application Blackberry ID. I'm at my wit's end. Where is my mistake? Thank you.

    Hey ArminFiebig,

In this case, I suggest to contact your ISP for assistance in accessing your BlackBerry Internet Service account. This article should provide some possible reasons why you are not able to access the account. "Unable to connect to a BlackBerry Internet Service account" http://bbry.lv/MXxTMU

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not send and receive E-Mails / BB Internet Service does not

    Hello

got a 9000 "BOLD" for Christmas and just move my Pearl 8100 via Switch Device Manager to 9000 "BOLD". One problem so far: although I copied all the data including my accounts of personal emails from the bead on the "BOLD", I can't send / receive E-Mails.

Just found that Blackberry Internet Services do not now. If I understand the manual, I have to activate the device. I just sent the message HRT, but is it enough?

In the email setup screen I just find the configuration of the company, not an option to set my personal E-mail-accounts.

    What should do?

    TIA

    Ralf

    Hello

OK, now it works. The "BOLD" had to be activated manually by my carrier; He didn t connect automatically as it should. Then I had to make several soft resets, changed the unit - so I needed another site (country), not that we mention here - and finally the "BOLD" connected to the Initernet - finally!

So, the BB seems to be a bit complicated; never encountered such problems using my Pearl. But in any case, now it works.

    Thanks for your support!

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not set up synchronization with Outlook

I just installed the latest BB Desktop Manager (4.7.0.32) but I can not configure it to synchronize with Outlook 2003. When I configure synchronization options (for example, calendar), I can select, select MS Outlook, select 2-way synchronization, select (the only user profile: Outlook), get the window "Congratulated and finally a message that translates by (in Dutch):"Cannot find the file of the table system".» And then, he returned to the window selection for apps (calendar-block-notes, etc.).

I have the BB 8300 Curve, BB 4.5 software (on handheld)

I found this solution that also works for DM 4.7:

    Cause

The error occurred after the release of BlackBerry Desktop Manager 4.2.2 to version 4.3. The upgrade could not remove the connectors folder in C:\Program Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Connectors. Thus, old office applications of Microsoft Outlook are saved with BlackBerry Desktop Manager 4.3.

    Resolution

If the connectors folder is always present in C\Program Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Connectors\MS Outlook Connector, follow these steps:

Unregister the old ilxolkCompanion.fil of Microsoft Outlook Connector.
    1. open the prompt (run-> cmd.exe).
    2. navigate to C:\Program search in Motion\BlackBerry\Connectors\MS Outlook Connector.
    3 type the command regsvr32 u ilxolkCompanion.fil.
    4. in the Desktop Manager, Microsoft Outlook is no longer appears as an available desktop application.
Save the latest Microsoft Outlook Connector.
    1. navigate to C:\Program search Motion\BlackBerry\IS71 Connectors\MS Outlook Connector.
    2. Enter the command regsvr32 msoutlookconnector.fil.
    3. in the Office Manager, Microsoft Outlook will now registered as an available desktop application.

Once these steps have been completed, configure synchronization again.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not send or receive e-mail messages

Cannot receive or send emails on blackberry - message reads "eception exception DSSMA (5): 2 invalid state.

OK the email on laptop - how I grind

Hello and welcome to the community!

There is virtually no diagnosis of those - they are the equivalent of random errors in Windows for which trace the root cause is futile. Basically, here's the last out in the programming code - some event occurred for which there is no event handler in the code. The patch is an update of the code that handles the event... but, again, what is the event is almost impossible. So, there are a few things to try:

Sometimes, the code simply is damaged and needs to be updated - just like a reboot:

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

If it doesn't boot properly, then you need to try Safe Mode:

    • KB17877 How to start a BlackBerry smartphone in safe mode

There may be a code updated to the value of the carrier - check out them through this Portal:

The toughest possible causes are a bad application behave. To find it, there are two options. Is to see if you can read the log file:

Go to the home screen. Hold down the "alt" key and type "lglg". (You won't see anything as you type). This will bring up the log file. Scroll down (probably a lot of pages) until you see a line that says "eception execption. Click on this line. The application name will be in the info. Alternative methods to implement the newspapers are in this KB:

    • KB05349 How to activate, view, and extract the the event logs on a BlackBerry smartphone

The other method is to remove the apps one at a time, wait a while between the two (I usually recommend a week), until the problem stops... revealing the offending application. Yet another method is to recharge the BB OS itself, leaving little time between the addition of other applications on the BB in order to be able to determine exactly what is the cause.

Good luck and let us know!

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not connect to the e-mail server

    Hi guys,.

The first time at the forum hope it will be useful.

I got a Blackberry by a friend (who was already on an Orange Mobile contract) and I swapped my Orange SIM in the Blackberry. Note: I don't have existing e-mail accounts set up on my previous phone.

The phone works very well (calls, WiFi + 3G navigation) but I have been unable to set up my email. When I try to do this by using the Setup Wizard (and click e-mail SETTINGS), I get the following error message:

    -     " ? Your camera has a problem connecting to the server. Try AGAIN or CANCEL.

.. .so is probably a matter of settings. However, when I picked up the phone at the local Orange store, they were unable to help me.

    Any ideas?

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not send or receive e-mail through hotmail

I have the Pearl 8110 and I had it in place to receive and send emails through my hotmail and aol accounts. I can always send and receive by aol, but not through hotmail

You will probably need to revalidate your hotmail account. I read a few questions a couple days affecting hotmail users. Several hotmail accounts must also be renewed all the 90 days. Click the icon to setup e-mail on your BlackBerry and sign in to your account BIS (BlackBerry Internet service). Click e-mail accounts, see if you have to re-enter your password for your hotmail account.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not send or receive e-mail, or use web2go

    Hi-

I hope that someone can help you. I can't send or receive e-mails on my Blackberry. I use gmail. I tried to play around with the settings, but I can't get even the web2go right now when I try to enter my e-mail settings. It gives me an error message that says: "the site are not available in this way. Please use the URL or the link provided by your service provider. "I do not know what link they are talking about. I tried a soft and hard reset nothing helps and can not find a solution online. It is true that anything more than a reset is beyond my knowledge.

Here are some details about my setup:

    BlackBerry Curve 8520

    Carrier: T-Mobile with package data

    OS v4.6.1.259 (Platform 4.2.0.116)

    E-mail: gmail

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    This this way... > connection
    > account management
    > Go to the bottom of the page
    > Connect and share
    > configure e-mail
You should be sent to the Blackberry page

  • can not set up an e-mail account

I use Thunderbird 31.7.0 in a Fedora 20 distribution. I installed Thunderbird using yum provided distribution.

Then I tried to configure my [email protected] existing accounts and my [email protected] using IMAP and pop Thunderbird was not able to download messages from any of the accounts.

I had to remove several times the file ~/.thunderbird to re - create the account but still stuck in the process.

It seems that Thunderbird is not able to communicate with the servers, it says no read: 0 Total: 0 in the lower right corner.

How can I get Thunderbird to work?

    Thank you very much

    JN

OK, I just thought of it...

... I had activated the proxy form to my network, and it seems that Thunderbird does not well with my proxy (Squid).

When you remove the proxy to the proxy configuration settings, creating e-mail accounts started to behave normally and very fast.

    I answered myself.

    Thank you

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not set up email

My buddy gave me his 8100 and I wiped the phone initially, but I still get emails and cannot set up my own. I tried to go into the configuration of messaging as a new user, but he said 'an account already exists for this PIN. So I called AT & T. They said that the original owner had to call. Thus, he called, twice and the first time he has someone who said he had no such thing as a deactivation of the account/pin code, and the second guy it just to wipe the phone, which of course got nothing.

Suggestions of the exact terminology my boyfriend, or I can use with these clowns? Thank you.

He asked probably the correct term.

AT & T must remove the existing PIN their BIS account. They should do immeidately for him, but you could call just ask nicely, that they don't need to do it for you, even if they have been known to.

You may need to explain that you bought the device used and the existing user no longer use, you need to activate the PIN code on YOUR account.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not remove an additional icon that resembles the icon browser (Earth)!

Recently, an additional icon that resembles the browser (Earth) icon appeared in my icon page.  It says Mobile of NASCAR Sprint Cup, I don't even like NASCAR... lol... I tried, and if sprint technicians tried everything... Cannot remove it. We have removed the maintenance for this icon book and he returned whenever there is a reboot or battery pull. I tried to install it, hoping that it works... He moved says "error HTTP 404: not found.» This page you are trying to load is not found. Please try loading a different page.  That I have and that's technicians, we tried uploading directly from the site of sprint store, hoping once downloaded, this icon disappears... Then we could delete, but nothing. I wouldn't mind just hide this darn icon, but since it's appearance, it freezes a few apps. They sent me another one BB and the same thing appeared. I am at a loss... It's the sprint technicians. I want this icon... HELP Please

I have this problem too, on the Pearl 8130.  My device is low on resources to start.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not set the homepage on the Bold 9700, non editable field

When I followed the instructions to reset the home page of the browser to the URL of my choice, I'm stuck.  It says choose Options, Configuration of the browser, and then type a new URL in the Home Page field.  Seems pretty easy.  But this field is not editable.  It is stuck on the first URL I've ever used on the device.

    Any ideas, anyone?

Well, tweak, I tripped on the fix.  In the right corner is a field indicating the browser that you are cinfiguring.  If If you launched Setup breast to Internet, then it is already set to 'Internet browser' of course. However, change to something else temporarily (for example, MediaNet), then again the browser Internet... Presto!  The URL of the homepage field becomes editable - and also a 'current user' button appears to exist.  Hooray!
