BlackBerry smartphones can not take pictures with my blackberry 9800 torch

Hello! I can't take pictures with my bb torch 9800.
Everything on the camera is OK, the problem is when I try to press the button to take a photo: nothing happens; It's as if I do not press even though the flash lights.
In short; My bb torch refuses to take pictures.
What can I do to solve this problem.
Thank you
Concerning

Try a battery pull if you please, with the BlackBerry device powered on, remove the battery 15 seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot the device. This will clear all hide as restarting a PC. Then try again and see if the problem persists.

someone at - he ELT has had this problem, please help to really want to take a picture

    Thank you.

The problem doesn't lie with your phone, but with the memory card

Try remove see and youre memory card if that works if this is the case then you have to backup everything in your memory card on the computer and go to blackberry repair or format the memory card. This shoukd be the case if it is not then I would suggest that you pick up another memory card

    Hello

What do you mean "ordinary USB camera? It's a Vision camera with a communication based on the API Vision camera or a 3rd party (such as a webcam)?

In the latter case, you may need to consult the documentation of the manufacturer, it should be sent with her library (C DLL, ActiveX automation, .NET assembly) with functions to communicate with drivers.

  • Webcam can not take pictures in offline mode

I have a webcam built in on my laptop, a lifecam software, but I can't take pictures in offline mode. It always tells me to connect to a camera. Any ideas?

The webcam is not a lifecam. This is why it does not. The lifecam program (I think) is reserved for the lifecam cameras. What is the brand / model of the laptop? You need to maybe go to some site and see if there is a program for that. It'll probably work in Skype or something

If you want (if you're on Skype), add me (my name is the name that I use here). We'll see if it works

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Can not receive pictures via text

    I have a Blackberry Bold 9930 software: v7.1.0.1066

I can't understand how to send photos or video via a text message.  Can I receive, and I know that my service allows me to send it, because I had my parents added to my plan (AT & T family plan) and they can also send photos with their phones from wal-mart for $10.  Whenever I have search the Internet how to do this, they show screen phone calls with the menu that lists several options for how send a photo, and one of them is text.  My phone does not have this option if, whenever I hit send on a picture my only three options are e-mail, bluetooth and Tag (don't know exactly what it is, but when you select it says to place the back of the two phones together, is not an option in SMS language).  In addition, nowhere in my menu when composing a text find an option to add attachments. so I can send them this way or the other.

HA, had fixed after only on the hour on the phone being bounced back from AT & T BlackBerry and vice versa. For anyone who purchases a phone off of the internet (ebay), even if it is new, it can be registered by a dealer or a supplier that offers no MMS messages and they will be blocked and do not come even to the top as an option on your phone. Your service provider will need to reactivate your phone with this provision. The Blackberry rep figured this out from my PIN thereafter, then I had to remind the representative of AT & T and to explain this, and yes he did not know what I was talking about but on the third try he managed successfully to fix.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not send email with v4.5

I've upgraded to version 4.5 of the software of the device for my Curve 8310 and now I can not send emails (receives OK). I can't access the email settings. When I go to the Setup Wizard, it happens to the page date and time and the next page returns a "404: not found" error. If I go to my 'Mobile e-mail settings' it does not recognize my user name and password (grrrrrr). Suggestions that don't involve reinstalling the original software?

    Hi mjbryan

U put in place an email with the BlackBerry Internet Service account?  If you have, you must log into your BIS account and return service directories.  If you have not configured to send yet, you must create an BIS account and add your email address.  You should be able to set up BIS here http://www.mobileemail.vodafone.net/

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not find pictures!

First off... thanks to all who answered questions from us beginners. I was able to resolve many issues just to read the messages.

Recently, I got my curve, started taking pictures and received an error message saying that I had run out of memory. I had installed a 8 GB memory card. A user of BB colleague told me to change the 'device memory' option to 'on media card"that I did. Now, I can't find the pictures I took initially. I assumed that they remained in the memory of the device, but I can't find them. Is there a hidden folder or something, I'm not aware I can get them or are they lost?

    Thank you very much!

After trying different things, I finally went to the pictures. It seems that you can not access the photos through the media icon / my pictures. When I've reset the default storage 'device memory', I was able to scroll to the bottom of the menu options and click the folder that contains the path to the memory of the unit and found the images there. If I used the 'images' option in the menu while in camera mode, I was able to choose between either device memory photos or pictures of the media.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Can not synchronize Outlook with BB

I use a BIS with Outlook (Exchange). If I delete an e-mail from my Blackberry, it gets deleted in my Outlook Inbox. However, when I delete a message in Outlook, it does not get deleted on my Blackberry. In addition, the open in Outlook messages are not marked as open in my BB.

I read the User Guide for the BIS, as long as the article knowledge base KB13509 (http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=KB13509&sliceId=SAL_Pub...), telling me that two way reconciliation is possible. I followed all the steps in this article, but messages are still not removed from my BB after removal of Outlook.

I use a BB8830, and the BIS version is 2.4.

    Any help is appreciated.

Well, it turns out that messages * get deleted my BB after they are removed from Outlook. However, it takes a long time for this.

When I delete a message from my pocket computer, it is immediately deleted in Outlook.

When I delete a message from Outlook, it gets finally removed from my BB. As a general rule, it takes between 2 to 4 hours for the deletion to occur.

About Gmail messages, unfortunately, they do not seem to never get deleted on my Blackberry.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not find pictures during the transfer to computer

I have these settings on my storm. WE map media. PSG ON. MSM ON. Automatic YES MSM. When I use the software on my computer to transfer my photos from Roxio, in my view, nothing happens and I get an error message. When I look at the map support when it is connected to my computer, all I see is the music files I have loaded on it. I have more than 50 pictures that I want to move my lap top. Anyone has any ideas. Also after a photo is broken and loaded on the storm and when your research in this field and zoom in for a close can save you the fence up to as a separate peak. Thank you very much Mike

Talk to your computer, close Desktop Manager and Roxio.

On your PC, open my computer > and choose one of the removable drives, could be named 'BlackBerry' on readers, E, F, G or H, more common. Explore here to BlackBerry > user > pictures.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not answer calls with BT headset (under "leaky. 85')

It was intermittent in the official versions of the code, now it does not at all sous.85.

When an incoming call is received, and I try to answer by 'touch' my Jawbone II in accordance with the instructions, it just hangs up an incoming call.  If I try to answer the call using the "touch screen" key, it does nothing.  If I reply using the "Green Telephone" button, the call is answered, but I THEN push the button on the BT SH to get audio through.

They do not have the headset BT included with this moment thing...

    Any suggestions (nice ones?)?

    Thank you!

    RandyR

    Solved my problem...

Removed and then re-linked my helmet, now called BT funcitons (mono only) work with the jawbone II.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not synchronize Outlook with the Bold 9700

I followed several similar questions on this BB, but none of the solutions have worked.

Synch does not resemble the process of calendar, but treats address book, task and memo.

    BB Bold 9700

    Desktop Manager v5.01

Newspaper shows that Sync memo details

Tried the procedure for recording of progress without change to open a session.

Tried to reinstall DM including "Clean uninstall" procedure removal of some entries in registry/directories

Tried to delete all the entries in Cical service book, although I did before I read the BB, so I have removed more than just the Scriptures?

I tried 'Move' procedure for consolidating the calendar

Tried to delete and send service book?  Although not sure on don't send procedure no BES or internet account of BB, I do not understand this process.

Currently, my default calendar is empty.  previously, he was had duplicates of the calendar entries to about 1/2, but after trying some of the troubleshooting, calendar is now empty and does not synchronize.

Don't know when it started, but probably it's a common problem with FaceBook Cical entered. I also had the double entries of many appointments.  The independent troubleshooting, I tried 1 medium synch that mostly eliminated my outlook calendar. After trying to restore outlook, synch realized was not working for the calendar.  Maybe broken several days earlier, don't know.

    Thanks for your help.

Wait you have set up an e-mail account on the device once you have removed all? The Desktop Manager synchronizes with the default calendar is listed under Options | Advanced options | Default services.

If no accounts are on the device to create an and make sure that it is set as the default, then try to reset the sync again and see what happens

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not move contacts from 9000 to 9800

My old BB 9000, or more likely, DM 6.0 organize my contacts on my old phone hostage!

I had my 9800 yesterday and tried to run the Wizard "device." Everything looks good, no errors, everything works... then I have open Contacts and it is empty. Look at my old camera, everything is still there. Try the synchronization again and again, no luck. Trying to back up "All contacts" on 9000 then just that give back to 9800, does not work.

I think the problem is that on the 9000, I see three "lists of contacts" - two named Desktop and the other with my gmail address. It appears in fact as those associated with the gmail address move okay - except that only one contact is associated with this account! The rest seems to be distributed randomly among the other two inputs of funds.

I have tried everything I can think to manually backup/recover contacts from the old phone, but no matter how I try to sync, I don't the addresses associated with the gmail account or when I restore what seems to be a 'complete' backup all contacts disappear.

A side note, I didn't want/need to keep these contacts separate so if there is a way to merge together to solve as magically I will gladly do - unfortunately entered KB talking about this all reference ridiculously old versions of the software, so I don't know how to do with DM6 and the 9800.

It's ridiculously frustrating. Permutation of devices was such a breeze and a grand more for me in the past, who would have thought that RIM would make it more difficult/worse?

Let me know if I can give you more info!

Well, 3 days it took me to solve this problem, quite poor of general RIM experience - I hope that someone is watching. Here is the solution I found, based on the process here: http://www.berryreview.com/2010/06/03/faq-duplicate-desktop-or-unknown-contact-list-databases-found-...

Original problem - several book entries of "Desktop" addresses on my old phone, which apparently caused problems when you use the DM6 ' device' Wizard.

    Resolution:

    (1) of peripheral origin, take a backup and select only contacts 'Address Book - All.

    (2) Download ABC Amber Blackberry Editor (why I need a 3rd party tool to use my new phone!) as mentioned in the article.

    (3) open the .ipd file that contains the address book - all entries, do a save as and put them in a new file - they are now simply part of the primary address book.

    (4) this is where I spread article above - still, restore that backup on my new phone doesn't work but restore on my OLD phone actually. If that's what I did.

    (5) I reactivated my old phone on BES then used wireless sync to synchronize the address book to the server.

    (6) to the new phone, activate on BES and turn on the wireless sync, and voila, I have my address on my new phone... FINALLY.

The obvious answer here is ' well, if you had the wireless sync works properly in the first place that probably would have been avoided "which is quite true. However, as it is a personal device that I use to work for e-mail only, the camera itself has always been the source of my address information and it sync to my business account has been low on my priority list. I thought that saw DM configured to make weekly backups (which still occur whenever I plug in my phone, regardless of whether or not - a week spent yet another problem with shit DM6) would be sufficient coverage of the information available to me.

I hope someone finds this useful info and should not suffer through 3 days of hair pulling as I did.
