  • BlackBerry Smartphones can receive/send files via bluetooth...

    Hi all.

I can not send/receive files to & from any other phone (Bold 9700 running OS 5.1.0.146 with Organge UK) as well as my laptop (HP Pavilion dv6000 running 32-bit Windows 7 Home Premium) through bluetooth.

However in all occasions my pairs of BB well matched with all phones & laptop. But it seems that Windows cannot find the drivers for the bluetooth BB and as such, Windows has marked the missing drivers for "Bluetooth device".

I made sure my BB bluetooth is turned on, is detectable and has a unique name.

Any help would be really appreciated!

    Best regards

    Hey all.

Found a solution to the problem in the forums HERE. Although his curve I know it applies to all BB. Related KB's HERE.

Got, it works on my laptop as well. Follow-up what xbabe82517 done:

"In the end, I had to remove the pairing on the laptop and my phone. But then instead of creating a new connection, I selected a file in my computer and clicked on "send to Bluetooth device". There is of course no paired devices, so I clicked on the option to search for a new device. It finds my phone and I then followed the steps - which were exactly the same steps as matching them - but he then worked and the file sent to my phone! "

Hope this helps someone else suffers from the same problem.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones transfer of data from your old phone

I bought the new Bold 9900 and want to transfer the contact list of old Curve 8900 to new phone via Bluetooth. The 8900 transferred all the data, confirming the number of entries that it transferred, but the 9900 has received the first entry in my contacts list. How can I get all contacts in the 9900? Or, what I am doing wrong?

The best way to transfer data from one BlackBerry to another is to use BlackBerry Desktop Software.  I used it several times without problem.

Let us know if you need some help with that.

  • [Curve 9360] blackBerry smartphones can receive BBM but cannot send...

Hello, I just signed up today. I have the Curve 9360 Apollo, I can't send BBM in the last 3 days, it only shows check without "D" or "R" and obviously my friend will not be the message.

    Here's the situation:

-BBM Contact Status Update (recent updates) seems normal, I can see the updates.

-I can receive all BBM sent me, PIN request work well this way.

    -I can browse the Internet

    -Push email working fine

    -No problem with Blackberry ID

-J' have plenty of BIS data plan service provider, I think that's not service provider problem, because I can navigate, push email, updates work.

The only thing that does not is that I can not send any BBM BBM contact.

    I tried to do this:

    -Pulling and reinsert the battery

-reload OS, currently using BlackBerry Handheld Software v7.1.0.1647 (all languages)

-Remove the maintenance book to remove entry

    -the reinstatement of host Routing Table, it is my host routing information;

-Reset the device and use a different blackberry ID, but not luck

My my device is connected to a server that is currently had problem BBM. I have another device, Bold 9790, with even the network carriers, normal work. Differences is given in the IP/Port host routing information. My "BOLD" has (or connected to (?)) IP/Port 206.51.26.192:18815:18810 in the meantime my abnormal Curve 9360 has IP as shown on the screenshot above.

Then, someone at - there have any idea?

OK, finally I managed to make it work.
Today I decided to use the SIM card from another provider of services, AXIS Indonesia in my case, after changing, I get gateway IP diferent and normal BBM work, then I go to previous service provider (IND - XL) and ask them to change my smart SIM card and bam! I got new gateway IP pretty much the same thing as the gateway ip of my bold work 9790. Here my new host routing information:

Hope this will help someone with the same problem as mine. Thank you

  • BlackBerry smartphones can't keep not fresh and other problems...

    Hello

I'm having some trouble with my berry.

First, it will not keep its charge.  The battery lasts only 8 hours or more.

Second, I can send and receive texts.  Apparently, my ankles have been sent, but I don't much get pins, e-mails, facebook things back.  I received responses from the pins that noon last night, I sent.

This morning there was an animated hourglass in the center of my screen every 10 seconds.  It would be flash and disappear.  I pulled out the battery because this is the usual solution for everything, but the empty battery pins just faster and still no reception.

    Any help would be appreciated.

It does not mean you have too many applications installed, you can just have too open. You know when your using your PC and you have multiple windows open but you reduce them just so you can go back and fourth? It's a bit like that. Tell I open "notes." Then, I hit the Red hang up button to return to the home screen. I have to open "tasks". 'Notes' is always in the back. It is of course more crucial when you leave something open your browser that will constantly call data. To close properly the somerhing click on the menu button and select close or exit. To see what is open hold down the ALT key and press on and release the previous button. You cannot close the House, browser, messages, PTT, BBmessenger or by phone. Although I don't know if that alone caused your problem, but I'm glad that you guessed it work.

    Please can someone help!

    Hello

What is the other device? If it is a BB and is not OS6, then 'receive via Bluetooth' must be activated to until you try to send. If this isn't a BB, so all he needs to be done - but you need to contact the manufacturer of this device non - BB for assistance.

    Good luck!

Whenever I am sent a MMS it says 'could not retrieve the content of the message, try again later' but I've never been able to recover one.are it all the settings on the phone that I have to change? or is it because I'm on talk and I need to be on a contract? also, I can't connect to the internet with the browser, while the comings and goings, I could previously through my old phone on Vodafone talk. I can get on the net via my LAN wireless at home, but it's not really useful as there are two computers and an ipod touch should I have to go.

    Stupid people of Vodaphone.

Do you have a data Plan BlackBerry enabled on your account with your carrier or mobile provider?

You need to get the data messages MMS, browser internet and much more.

Then call your carrier and you learn about to have added to your account BlackBerry data Plan.

    Good luck.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones transfer backup data from one blackberry to another

    Hello

I had 2 blackberries, both were recorded on my blackberry desktop and saved. I lost one of them. I am now trying to transfer the data to the phone lost on the second phone, but I can't access the data that the desktop software asks me to connect the lost phone to access.

How can I access data on the lost phone when I can't connect the handset to access and upload it on my second phone?

    Thank you very much

    Davina

With the new trendy device, launch the desktop software.

    Choose device > restore.

You can find the specific backup you with restore and can choose specific or restore all 'Select Data' to restore.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not move from t-mobile to O2 (help)

    • I bought a Pearl of a co-worker and on the t-mobile network
    • I have unlocked to work with any network and have been using it on the distribution of the O2 for a while
    • I have now moved to an O2 contract with blackberry data and tried to register my phone via O2email.co.uk but continue to get the message that an account already exists for this PIN
    • I spoke in support of the O2 and they tell me the PIN is attributed to another service provider (that I already know) and the other service provider should free it
    • My colleague has contacted t-mobile and they are telling him that his account has been cancelled and that he cannot see a blackberry internet account
    • I was on the site of BIS t-mobile and entered the PIN code and requested a password and I get a text Message indicating that the user name and password do not exist

What can I do to get the PIN released so I can refer to the O2?

The seller or you need to call TMo and ask that the PIN will come out of the old account.

It is a common problem when users abandon an account leave the PIN on this network.

While you have unlocked it correctly, the PIN is always related to the old account.

  • BlackBerry smartphones cannot restore data from my phone

    Hello

I had a problem with my phone and after trying several different things, I was told to back up my data and "wipe pocket."  I have everything backed up with BB Desktop Manager and after the handheld computer, the problem is resolved.  Unfortunately, now I can't get my data restored on my phone.  When I used the Desktop Manager, I clicked on restore and then came a box that says: "the data in the following databases...". Do you want to continue? ', followed by a list of my databases. Below that is a box for you to check that says «Clear the current memory of the OBU... and restore data...» ».  This sentence is overlying (you can see in the text) the Yes/No to click on the box.  So, even if I check the box in front of the text, I can't click on Yes or no. (nothing happens when I click on it). I tried to restart a few times Director of office, but I always get the same thing.  I finally uninstalled the Office Manager and re-installed, but I still get the same problem.  (I reinstalled it using a link that I got from one of these positions, not in the album I used for initial installation).  Any ideas?   I had the original problem was annoying, but it's even worse!  Thanks in advance...

Never mind... figured it out... could not use the mouse to click on the 'yes', but when I used the TAB button and kept pressing it until it ended on the 'yes', I was able to hit the button enter and it worked.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones can receive messages SMS /MMS SMS ICON and get error

I have a blackberry bold 9000.  I downloaded an update this afternoon via Blackberry App World.  After the update and reboot, I get an eception exception Java lang null pointer exception error and my ICON of Message Tes\xt is missing and unable to receive text messages.

I removed the battery while the phone is turned on and put it back in... No help

I went to options and made sure the mailbox was created to separate instead of the handset.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hmmm... First of ALL, make another software.  Perform a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for about FIVE minutes and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this way is prescirbed for most the gltiches and operating system errors, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.

If it still fails, you will need to save and reload the operating system.

See the link below for download and simple installation instructions.

First find your operator and the system operating file that you want to use.
    http://NA.BlackBerry.com/eng/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp

Make a backup of your device first, using Desktop Manager > backup. Close the office at the end Manager.

    1. download the OS files to the PC then install on the PC by running (double click) the downloaded file.
    2. go in c:\program files Research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml."
    3. plug in the BB and double-click on "Loader.exe." It is located in the same place as the above vendor.xml file.
