BlackBerry smartphones change your Signature

I've read several ways to change your signature on your bb device.  "Sent from my Verizon Wireless Blackberry".  Anyone know how to change this signature?  I have the 8330 & Verizon service.

BTW, thanks for all the help with my last post to .3gp files.  Appreciated...

John

You can replace through your BIS account to:

Verizon - www.blackberry.com/go/vzw

Connection of a PC and the title of the email accounts on the right side of your account, you have an icon editing. It will allow you to change your signature here.

I hope this helps!

  • BlackBerry smartphones change Signature on 8830

I saw this issue as "resolved" to the bottom of the list a ways but this difficulty has not worked for me.

I use a BIS server and I can not get out of the endless loop, trying to figure out how to make the change of Signature. I am not able to access the BIS on Verizon (at least that I know). Any ideas how to change the standard signature?

    Thanks in advance!

You are logged into your BIS portal via your operator site? You can change the signature aut there too.

check this link to find that your carriers BIS login in the site...

  • BlackBerry Smartphones change my e-mail signature

I wanted to change my signature to e-mail "Sent from my Blackberry" to something else like "Sent using my Crackberry" or something like that. I used to know how to do, but I forgot. I believe that it is through the Desktop Manager. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

You need to connect to the site of BIS of your operator where you installed e-mail. If you click the edit function for any email account, there is a part of the signature to change it to one that you would like it to be. Look at this link from your carrier's BIS site connection: http://na.blackberry.com/eng/support/blackberry101/setup.jsp#tab_tab_email

  • BlackBerry Smartphones changing approval to applications for 8520

Is it possible to change the permission of 'Desktop To Go Applications' my word, excel, ppt and pdf of my curve8520? It is displayed as "deny".

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

There are dozens of permission settings... I have no way, what said you, namely that which shows that 'Deny '...

But, if you can change that setting, then your likely BB is now or was formerly associated with a corporate BES environment, and a BES it policy is on board which is preventing access to this permission setting.

If you are currently a member of BES, then you need to talk to your admins BES to access this special permission setting.

If you are not currently associated with BES, TI latent policy was deleted not the when the BB is provided for you... and you need to remove. Please see this KB and consider very special on all the warnings about the loss of data:

  • BlackBerry Smartphones changes to the calendar after update

I recently did the software update proposed in consequence of which I had to re - install Facebook. Since then, I found that when I go to enter a new appointment, there are some new top that says send to help: and I choose Facebook, home, or office (the 2 is what I call my email accounts)

I don't want this option here, especially since the default value is Facebook (he seems to be in alphabetical order)

Is it possible to get rid of this option or at least change it so I can choose my own default?

    Hello

The BlackBerry smartphone has the ability to maintain multiple calendars. You can select your timetable and services default e-mail to the title of the default Services Options-Advanced Options.

Send using option is there Design and cannot be deleted because it specifies which calendar you want to use for your appointment you will enter in.

Looking for other KB articles that might be helpful? Have you looked in your device user guide? I'm sorry that I have more a device inherited from BB to try to replicate the steps for you.

You can also try, if they have one, your site Web of carriers BIS of a PC/Browser...you'd, of course, ask your carrier for this URL.

Alternatively, you can try from your BB browser, www.blackberry.com/integrate

You can also contact your mobile service provider and have them change your BIS settings for you.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry smartphones change of carrier network OS

    Hey,.

I have a BB Bold 9780 running OS of Vodacom

    However, I use a Cell C contract.

I tried wiping the device and load a generic operating system but it still continues using Vodacom as the provider of the default operating system which is a problem because it is blocking my signal to connect to the BB Internet Service.

The phone is aa BB Bold 9780 and at the moment has been erased without BONES.

Please let me know A.S.A.P. How do I strip completely BB and where I can download and how to install the OS 6 generic V so that it will work with the C cell.

I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... ( Please wait for this before moving on to the next step) :

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    (2) remove and return Service directories

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    (3) restart to take batt

    • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If this isn't the case, then you should contact your mobile provider for formal support.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry smartphones change Email address

    Hello

I have my Blackberry as a hand me down to keep me going for a while, my friend has their configuration of e-mail on the subject, and I can't get rid of or change it to mine, any suggestions?

Furthermore, the e-mail which is now on the 8900 is a hotmail one and I want to change it to gmail.

Hope someone can shed some light on this situation!

    Thank you

    JK

Options > Security > press the Menu key (to the left of the trackball), then press on wipe Handheld. Follow the prompts to complete that, and former account of your friend's e-mail will be deleted as well as any other personal information, he could have left on the device. Basically, this will make the 8900 'almost' news.

Now, you will need to call your service provider and have the data Plan BlackBerry added to your account for your SIM card in the device. At that time, the BlackBerry will be configured with an icon of configuration necessary to add your own email account.

    Good luck.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones change/edit the Signature in mail

I use my business email account with my "BOLD" and it works fine... but

I was told I need to set up an e-mail account of BB to get and change the fonts, signature, etc...

If this is true, how can I do this and it will affect the perfect way everything works now.

I prefer to leave all the same thing as having to start a new process.

    Thank you.

Your username can be your e-mail... This is what you have created, that it is. You will need to remember.

OR, you can ask your carrier to completely remove the account from BIS and reset and start again.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones change the length of your cycle

I love the phone, but the only thing that makes me mad is the length of the phone rings before going to voicemail.

My only rings for 10 seconds, regardless of the type of ringtone, before the voicemail of storm cuts. I'm lucky if I can look to see who the caller is, and still less y answer!

Is this normal? (hope not). How can we change it?

I'll answer my own question, I'm afraid! I rang my network to check with them and they gave me the code to change the length of the ring. He is about 30 seconds.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones changing GIS online on an MS Exchange Server? Sprint service

I found the following link that perfectly explained and helped me to change the lines of sig on my private email:

    http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/T5/BlackBerry-tour-9630/changing-or-eliminating-the-signature-on...

However, this does not work for my professional e-mail.  I'm on the MS Exchange Server and my phone has a software encryption of my work.

Y at - it an option that I'm missing?  Something that does not work with MS Exchange Server?

    Thank you in advance.

    Hello

Yes, these instructions are purely for BIS connected e-mail accounts. Statement, "I am on the MS Exchange Server", you mean you're on BES and BIS instructions indeed do not apply. Instead, go here:

    • Home screen > Messages > > Options > email settings

In the upper box, select your BES email (usually referred to as "Office"). Among the various selections, there will be "Use Auto Signature". Change this to "Yes" and a box will appear in which you can set the automatic GIS you want for your BES emails that you send from your BB.

    Hope that helps!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Chang SIM card

    Hello
IAM, traveling to LONDON - I'm going to change my SIM card - if I change all my data and contacts and bookmarks will be available as the same as before?
    Please advice

You must save your contacts to your address book on the device, not the SIM card.

You can check by opening your BlackBerry address book.

Press the Menu key > SIM Phonebook.

Look over there, you have all the entries stored in the SIM card? If so, you can press Menu again > copy everything to the address book.

Browser bookmarks are not saved in the SIM card.
