BlackBerry smartphones could not receive files via bluetooth

Hello

I just got the Blackberry Storm today and you try to transfer all my contacts etc from my old phone to my blackberry.

They recognize each other and connect momentarily then the blackberry stores my old phone

It is certainly my blackberry which tried the problem because I also send things on another phone just to check.

I tried all possible ways... I can think... peeling the two-way, connection, then sending... only said: "connection failure" on my Samsung.

Now, I'm stuck with what to do.

Help, please!

Thank you

Re: Bluetooth transfer contact

My apologies for misleading you, contacts CAN be transferred other than a car kit Bluetooth;

Have you tried and went to accept via Bluetooth? Some of the older software on the BBS, you need to go to the media file and say accept via Bluetooth. Consider the two features are already paired.

    Hello!

To receive a file via BT, you must first ask your BB to accept the attempt to send to the other device... otherwise it doesn't meet the attempt (I know, it's this way even if it is paired and trust). Navigate to the folder you want the file to be placed (media > BBKey > Explore) and then activate the BT reception option (BBKey > receive using BT). Then start sending the other camera.

Good luck and let us know!

  • BlackBerry smartphones I can send, but not receive files via bluetooth

I had to wipe my curve over the weekend, and before that I did, I transferred files (pictures and ringtones) on my desk.  Now, I can't get back them on the curve!  What I am doing wrong?  Obviously, I have a ton more photos and mp3 files on my computer that did not need to be transferred, but when I click "receive using bluetooth", I don't know how to refer the file to the desktop I want transferred back.  Help!

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

    See this KB:

    • KB05409 Transfer a file using Bluetooth technology between two BlackBerry smartphones

Replace the instructions appropriate for your other device instead of the transmitter unit KB section in the KB. It is on this other device (PC, I guess) you must start sending once you asked the BB to receive.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not synchronize "BOLD" via Bluetooth

I am a user of Treo 680 converted and now have a BB 9000.  I was used to my Treo via bluetooth for my laptop for updates of my contacts, tasks, and the synchronization schedule (Outlook).  BB 9000 is capable of that?  I tried to work through to connect my 2 devices, but without success.  The Desktop Manager is version 4.6, but it does not allow me to turn on Bluetooth support in "connection options".  I tried to delete all the devices and from everywhere, but still no luck.  Has anyone had a similar problem?

    sgardne,

Thanks for the links KB.  I had read that before, but I read it even more in detail.  Then happened me something in the sense of something that said "stillwater".

When I went to set up the bluetooth connection, it wasn't there.  When I went to my control panel, there is no icon for Bluetooth devices because I was not running the Microsoft bluetooth download.  Instead, I was running a version with changes added by Lenovo, my laptop computer manufacturer.

With help, I uninstalled the Lenovo bluetooth Pack and installed a Microsoft bluetooth connection newly downloaded software package.  Then everything came together.

Thanks to each of you for your help.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not receive files from other brands of phone via Bluetooth.

Hi, I have problems with the Bluetooth on my curve 8320. I can photo Bluetooth for Sony ericsson phones and music files, but when these phones are trying, Bluetooth, these types of files for me, even after matching has been reached, and etc. entered access keys, a message will appear on their screens, saying that the "connection failed". This happened whenever all the files have been sent to me.

Could someone help me with this? Thank you very much.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Can not receive pictures via text

    I have a Blackberry Bold 9930 software: v7.1.0.1066

I can't understand how to send photos or video via a text message.  Can I receive, and I know that my service allows me to send it, because I had my parents added to my plan (AT & T family plan) and they can also send photos with their phones from wal-mart for $10.  Whenever I have search the Internet how to do this, they show screen phone calls with the menu that lists several options for how send a photo, and one of them is text.  My phone does not have this option if, whenever I hit send on a picture my only three options are e-mail, bluetooth and Tag (don't know exactly what it is, but when you select it says to place the back of the two phones together, is not an option in SMS language).  In addition, nowhere in my menu when composing a text find an option to add attachments. so I can send them this way or the other.

HA, had fixed after only on the hour on the phone being bounced back from AT & T BlackBerry and vice versa. For anyone who purchases a phone off of the internet (ebay), even if it is new, it can be registered by a dealer or a supplier that offers no MMS messages and they will be blocked and do not come even to the top as an option on your phone. Your service provider will need to reactivate your phone with this provision. The Blackberry rep figured this out from my PIN thereafter, then I had to remind the representative of AT & T and to explain this, and yes he did not know what I was talking about but on the third try he managed successfully to fix.

  • Unable to send or receive files via bluetooth.

Hey guys, I have a Microsoft bluetooth - the transceiver v3.0 Bluetooth dongle. This dongle came with my entire keyboard and mouse (Wireless Laser Mouse 8000 and Wireless Entertainment Keyboard 7000). In any case, before, when I was with Vista, I could send and receive files via bluetooth dongle.

After the upgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, I can't do it, but I'm still able to pair my mouse and keyboard for it. When I try to send a file, this message pops up: "Windows could not transfer files. The file could not be sent because the connection could not be established. Make sure the Bluetooth radio is plugged. To try again, click the back arrow. »

I uninstalled and reinstalled the software IntelliPoint/IntelliTypePro, which would be to reinstall the driver from the transceiver, but the problem persists. In Device Manager, bluetooth radios does not appear.

Can anyone help me please with this problem?

    I posted it.

Go to your system and look under Vista drivers and then look under Windows 7 drivers.
There are Vista drivers and those who would have come on your system. There is no windows
    7 currently available drivers.

Acer - Driver - go to your system

You can also try an add-on BlueTooth complete that adds full system support if you can find one.

Rob Brown - MS MVP - Windows Desktop Experience: Bike - Mark Twain said it right.

  • slate7 hd unable to receive files via bluetooth

    Hiya,

I have a HD Slate7 7 '' android pad and used for 3 months and recently noticed that it became unable to receive files via bluetooth transfer. I restarted the machine and also restarted the bluetooth but always without success. However, I can still use bluetooth to transfer files. Would it be a hardware failure, I declined cushion by chance a few times?

    Hey windphantom,

Thanks for the information, which helps a lot.

It seems that the Bluetooth can be cached on the tablet. You should be able to clear the cache of Bluetooth like any other application by going to settings > Apps > all > share of Bluetooth and pressing then clear the Cache.

If this is not enough, you can try a factory reset. You can see how to do this here: perform a factory reset on your HP Slate 7 HD.

Let me know if this helps.

    Hi Alexander,

Thanks for posting the query on Microsoft Community.

I'm sorry to know that you are unable to receive files via Bluetooth. I appreciate your efforts to try to resolve the problem.

    1. What happens when you try to receive files, you get the error message?
    2. You have uninstalled the Bluetooth driver?

If this isn't the case, then try to uninstall the Bluetooth drivers.

    1. Press the Windows key + R, type devmgmt.msc.
    2. Expand the drivers Bluetooth, click Bluetooth device.
    3. Right-click and then select Properties and choose Uninstall.
    4. Click OK.

You can re - install either by visiting the website of manufacturers or Windows updates.

If you can't find the drivers for Windows 8, you can install Windows 7 Bluetooth drivers in compatibility mode and check if it helps.

Please download the drivers for Windows 7 and install in compatibility mode:
