  • BlackBerry Smartphones default music Volume too loud

I had my blackberry for about 2 months, and I used it as my main music without no problem player until this last week.  So, whenever a new song starts, the music is really very strong, and I have to put it down for each song.  I tried to find a way to restore the volume by default for the music, but all I found is audio improved, which is not on.  Any ideas on what to do?

Be more specific. You must either go to profiles or just use the volume key on the side of the phone during a call. You can also set the default call volume.

  • BlackBerry smartphones with Volume problems

    Hey.

I am a new blackberry user, and I'm having some trouble with the volume controls

When I got first the volume thing was working fine,

Then we had to do a reset on it for some reason, and I think that the sound was very good...

But somewhere inbetween then and now...

the sound on the thing stopped working all together.

As the profile of 'Normal' is silent

    The 'Fort' profile is vibrate

Alarms do not work. No noise, not even the camera

    shutter sound. Nothing.

I tried to go through and turn the volume to

the advanced options in the profile file.

I tried a soft reset and hard reset.

I even tried to wipe the whole thing.

    Nothing has worked.

    I'm completely lost.

If someone could help, it would be amazing.

    No, it didn't get wet.

Yesterday, about 2 hours after that I posted this.

    He started working.

Then this morning... I noticed that it was only after I shot

    the case that was funny.

So, I tried again and put it in the Holster, and it has stopped working.

of course 2 hours later it started working again.

moral of the story... I'm sure as hell not using this case.

So. I think it is resolved...

  • BlackBerry Smartphones default BB calendar

OK, so I figured out how to delete my additional calendars and proceed to their removal. My calendar by default but is still there which, I guess this is supposed to be. I was hoping that wipe all the entries in the calendar and everything again. The main problem I have at the moment is that all inputs are doubled. For example:

    * Bob Smiths Birtdhay

    * Bob Smiths anniversary

For the holidays, it shows only once

    * Columbus Day

So that means the calendar is always find info from 2 sources? How does it work? How can I stop it from happening.

What I'm essentially looking to do is set up a calendar for bot online, my wife and me to synchronize so that we both get updates that are added in line or on the phone. We are currently trying to get Google Calendar for this. Is there a best calendar out there that will provide the same synchronization capabilities?

    Thanks in advance

If you encounter errors in your calendar or address book on your BlackBerry and you want to delete the entire address book (or calendar) base on your BlackBerry, follow the instructions below. Make sure that you have a good copy of your calendar or Contacts, because this procedure will delete all the calendar entries or entries from the address book on your BlackBerry.

    1. open the Desktop Manager on your PC.
    2. open Backup/Restore > advanced.
    3. in Advanced Options, you will see a split pane screen. The left pane, it is what will be saved from your device, and the right is a list of the existing databases.
4 select right your address book database (or your Calendar database), and then click the arrow in the Middle pointing to the left. This will copy the information on and prepare it for the backup.
    5. once the backup is complete, click the button Clear down to erase, and then clean up the database of book full address (or calendar).
    6. once it is finished, it will ask you if you want to save the backup that you created, say you Yes and check the device to make sure that the address book (or calendar) has been duly cleared out. Now, Resync the necessary contact details and you should be set to go.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Master Volume

OK got my blackberry last night - love - the very easy.

However, for some reason I can't find where to turn the main volume.  I actually want my key convenience to be able to switch between vibrate, silent and more.  Can someone please help?  Thank you very much.

OK I didn't know that there was more than one curve.  I guess I need to move my phone is the 8330.

I don't think you can set it that way. However, you can change your key con of "profiles". Menu, Options, screen/keyboard. Do con scroll keys, hit enter and select in this group.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones default e-mail settings

I have the torch with two e-mail accounts.  One is Outlook Express and the other is web messaging software.  Both work very well except during synchronization.  Calendar items on the default value of the torch for the webmail and don't appear on the Outlook calendar syncing.  The opposite is also true (if I make a calendar entry in Outlook, it will not be synchronized in the calendar on the torch.  Contacts seem to find fine regardless of point of entry (office or torch).  Someone knows how to change the default e-mail from one to the other program?

"Outlook Express" is not an e-mail account, it is a visualization software project manager/email information. You must have some account connected to it, where Outlook Express downloads e-mail to your e-mail messaging server, whether it is a private domain email or hotmail, gmail, aol, etc.

Thus, understanding that... You must decide what your "default email" and your "default calendar" on BlackBerry... which of your two email accounts is the default value?

Set this choice options > device > advanced system settings > default Services.

  • BlackBerry® Smartphones default e-mail doesn't work does not correctly - I think

    Hello

I want everyone who receives an email from me since my Blackberry to see just my company email acocunt. So I created this address as the default Service (EMMIC). Three elements/questions:

    1. New email: if I create a new email option works very well - enter by default. OK
    2. Forwarded message: if I send an email I had received, the default account is not chosen, even if this might be the first time that I never received an email from this person (so unprecedented has been set for the other email acocunt). But I am able to change the email acocunt before sending. I think that the default account would be chosen because it is the first time that I ever corresponded with this person. Or better yet, why my blackberry would choose an acocunt rather than another especially when the account he used is not designated in any special way as a default? I would prefer not to have to modify them. Can I do the BB uses default here?
    3. Replying to an e-mail: I understand other assignments than the Blackberry will remember that I said to this person in the past by using a specific account and will continue to do so. It's ok I guess, but I would like to be able to disable this option. But when I go to the top to change the default email acocunt before sending it, it won't let me. The option does not exist - no fall down. How can I get the BB to give me the option?

    I have a curve 8520 running 5.0 - thank you

I solved this problem and the question that many face when we want to substitute the name of the email account that BlackBerry uses when sending emails.

As mentioned previously, the default setting for the Services only works for new emails. But it fails even when the person you send the email to a the same e-mail as account name account by default in your blackberry. He then gets changed before sending. Very picky!

As a summary, I have two email accounts saved in my Blackberry (business and personal). I get emails from my personal account (gmail) because I have all the emails through this service. But I want only sent by my business account, or at least I want as the recipient of the email to think it is sent through my business account. I have this for commercial reasons, so that the recipient will never know I use gmail and always sees my business account. It was easy to do on the server of gmail, but I could never do this works since the Blackberry so far.

The way I got it to work was to change the settings of email account for my personal account as follows:

    1. Delivery options > answer to > e-mail address, you want all of your answers to say that they are sent to
    2. General options > your name > and then put your name as you want it to appear in front of your e-mail address (I believe that it is optional because it adds your name to the front to send it as an alias)

Note that the email in the email address can register the address, that you don't want to send, but the recipient will eventually see the address you intend to see. It seemed to work for the wingers, answers and new emails.

    See you soon

  • BlackBerry smartphones default switch of the camera built-in memory card media

My blackberry 8330 has switched to the built in default memory for my photos.  I have a media card that has been there since the phone was new. About 3 times before, the phone reset and it takes me forever to find the place in the settings to set the default value to the press card.  This time, I can't find the screen to do it.   Can someone walk me through the steps to get there?  Thank you

  • BlackBerry Smartphones increase Volume button change MP3 music

When I try to increase the volume of the music by pressing the volume button it changes my selection of songs. When I insert the torch of BB in my door-belt and then try to increase the volume of the music it actually works. I tried to call customer service at AT & T and said that I must take my phone to the nearest AT & T store and have the BB software upgraded. Y at - it a fix for this problem? I am becoming frustrated with my purchase at the most recent, 'better' than RIM blackberry has already sold. My opinion is that the unit is below everyone's expectations and the lack of technical support let me feel that RIM did not feel that they must be held accountable for taking the people's money for a product that does not work as they have announced. The product I bought does not have to do all the things that I thought it would when I bought it.

Check the key to Rate.If you set on fast or quick way is going to happen with the volume keys.

Set to normal and the volume keys will not function properly.
I had the same problem and it drove me crazy.

I want my music back to how it was!

    Thank you

    Z

It's actually quite simple and easy to downgrade the OS on your device. Follow the instructions posted on the link below:

    http://www.BlackBerryFAQ.com/index.php/How_do_I_downgrade_the_OS_on_my_BlackBerry%3F

Similarly, I would recommend simply instead upgrade to the latest version of the operating system for the 8310, see link below for directions:

    4.5.0.124

  • BlackBerry Smartphones default ringtone does not work

I set the default ringtone to my 9630, but it does not apply to all contacts. The only way to adjust the ringer is within each individual contact. However, the default Ring Tones/alerts work for Messages, Instant Messages, reminders and more.

Is there a solution? Please notify

I have the same problem. Here's what could be your problem:

Go to: sounds (click on icon)

Scroll down to "set contact alerts ' click that

If you see the name of someone in your address book delete them unless you have added custom contact ringtones. I found when I change a contact in the phone for reasons unknown to me or Sprint, adds the contact here and adds a default ring tone that replaces what you set.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones default profile

    Hi people,

I've made changes to the 'Normal' sound profile on my BB Curve 8900, and wanted to start over, is there a way to get this profile to the way it was when I got him on the phone?

Thanks in advance for your help and response (s).

Thanks, I thought about it already.

In the Desktop Manager program, backup and restore section, advanced, I deleted the profile and that did the trick!

    Thanks anyway for your answer.
