BlackBerry smartphones display the phone number

I wonder if there is a way to display a phone number when you place a call. I have a google voice # I want to display instead of give my cell #.

Call from Google Voice program and it will display the GV # on the incoming callers phone.

  • notification of iMessage on Mac displaying the phone number, not name

    Only, I imported my contacts from my phone to my Macbook Air, but whenever I get a notification of text at the top right of my screen, it shows the phone number, not the name of the contact. Once I go into iMessage, the name is displayed. That's all just annoying that I don't know who texted me until I actually open iMessage. iCloud is enabled for my Mac and my iPhone.

    Hello
    If you are using

    :TAA_CUSTOMER_MANAGEMENT.CONTACT_PHONE_NO
    :TAA_CUSTOMER_MANAGEMENT.NUMBERS

    are these above said are elements not db?
    If yes then its get accessor for fill in post-interrogez trigger.
    Just check substring and instring functions that return the value.

  • Contacts display the phone number does not work

    I would like to display the home workplace phone number in the contacts view. Most of my contacts have only a house number or mobile. How can I do this?

    There is a small square button at the top right of your address book component, which, as the identical buttons in Thunderbird allows you to choose the columns that are displayed.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BB support phone number?

    Hi, I have just my BB 9900 week last of the RIM (not carrier) and it won't turn this morning, after a night of load.  The red light flashes (3 seconds for 15 seconds), tried to charge in different ways (wall, usb cable), pulled the battery during the charge and all not, nothing in help.

    Seems that others have had this problem too, but not solutions.  I want to call someone, but don't know where to call.  Cannot call Rogers, they are probably not helping because the phone is directly of the RIM, so unblocked.

    Know a number I can call?

    Where did you buy the 9900 "directly from RIM"?

    You have a store or link address?

    RIM does not phone except through their support incident of pay...

    If you selected which:

  • BlackBerry Smartphones cannot delete phone number 'House '.

    ..... I unloaded my land line bit after that I got my BB Torch, (almost a year ago). Nowhere in my contacts list figure 'House', but when I compose my old number, 'Home' again appears as the reference number. How can I delete it from my phone? Whence this info?

    Question absolutely drove me crazy... went to support ATT and I hooked up with some amazing technology... in a very short time, we discovered the reference number 'House' was to be picked up in the card installed on the phone! No way to remove it without the memory card of rags or plug in a new, but not wrong / not fault.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones 10-digit phone number

    How to prevent a '1' are put in front of a 10 digit phone number during a call in the contacts list? All our local numbers are now 10 digits.

    The "1" represents only the country code, which I guess in your case is the Canada.  It is placed before the number automatically but does not affect your composition.  Manually to dial the number without the '1' would be your only alternative but gives the same results.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones block a phone number

    I have a bcurve for blackberry 8300 series. Does anyone know if it is possible to block calls and text from a specific number?

    I found one on http://software.blackberrysource.com. It's called BuzzOff and there a free trial of 25 blocks to make sure that it works directly on your phone, and then it's only $4.99 if you decide to do. I also understood how to block SMS. The person was in my address book, so I deleted from my address book and then option - security - fire guard - block SMS - except address book contacts. We'll see how it works. Wish me luck! I was just getting my number changed.

  • getDevicePhoneNumber() provides the phone number with the unicode left-to-right mark

    I use getDevicePhoneNumber (boolean format) ( http://www.blackberry.com/developers/docs/4.6.0api/net/rim/blackberry/api/phone/Phone.html#getDevice... (boolean)) to get the telephone number of my camera. I know that maybe it's not the actual number. I also can't use something else as the pin of the device. I use it to fill a field "my phone number" by default that can be edited manually in the case where the number is not correctly being read on the SIM card.

    It works really well and displays the phone number in the field. However, a thorough review to the string of shows that he has the mark unicode '% E2% 80% 8F' in front of the string. This brand is known in unicode (utf-8) "BRAND LEFT-to-RIGHT ' (sources: http://www.tachyonsoft.com/uc0020.htm and http://unicode-search.net/unicode-namesearch.pl?term=mark ).

    I only experienced it in BB OS 4.6 devices (does not check 4.7 yet), but it seems not to happen in OS 4.5 and below.

    Were there changes to the orientation of the chain in OS 4.6?

    Can I get rid of this brand using String.trim (); or I have to use something else?

    This problem persists on my 9000 "BOLD", but none of my other GPS phones.

    Because it was a pain to try to understand, here's the code I used to solve this problem.

    private String trimPhoneNumber(String phoneNumber){
        byte phoneBytes[] = phoneNumber.getBytes();
        int length = phoneNumber.length();
        int offset = 0;
        if ( phoneBytes[0] == 0x3F ) {
            length--;
            offset++;
        }

        return new String(phoneBytes, offset, length);
    }

  • BlackBerry Smartphones display my number above the dialing key

    My phone display "My Number: unknown Number" above the number display and I want to change my real number. "I tried the 'status' in the Menu which will then show my number: unknown" and the times of 'Last call' and 'calls altogether. It is possible to highlight 'Unknown' and to then display a keyboard via the menu button, but I'm not able to change 'unknown '. Any ideas?

    Hello

    See the link attached for more information.

    Thank you

    Bifocals

    This problem may be caused by one of the following:

    1. The phone number is not filled on the map of the Subscriber Identity Module (SIM).
    2. The SIM card was not put into service for the BlackBerry smartphone to recognize the phone number.
    3. The phone number is programmed into the wrong slot in the SIM card

    Hello

    That API is not supported on BB10 (only BBOS).

  • When I search for businesses, the address appears but is not the phone number. The number is displayed when I use Internet Explorer, so I don't know there is something to block these numbers popping up.

    I'm looking for manufacturing companies. When the info appears, everything is there except the phone number. This does not happen on Internet Explorer, so I know that the problem is inherent to Firefox. Something is blocking the pop up of these phone numbers.

    This has happened

    Each time Firefox opened

    == I started to search for companies

    Oh, if you want to learn more about why Internet Explorer is not a reference to rendering and all that, just ask. I'll be happy to tell you more.

  • List of contacts from blackBerry Smartphones on bearing phone numbers?

    New to Blackberry, but I'm pretty sure when I sync all initially had my Outlook contacts and then displays my contact list and rolled on a name, only phone numbers contacts appear as contacts.  Then I could roll the correct number and dial by pressing the trackball.

    Now, I get no display of phone numbers that I ride on a contact name in the contacts list.  I have to press the trackball or enter key to view info contact set and then select the phone number.

    Have I have big fingers tweaks without knowing?  I have read the manual and searched the web and can't find any arrangement which would alter the display of the list of contacts.  Maybe I just imagined?

    Workaround.  The Act of rolling the trackball on the name of the contact and see the phone numbers of the contacts under the name apparently only works when you use the function of name search from the home screen, and not in the contacts list.

    No need to practice!

    TelephonyManager mTelephonyMgr = (Context.TELEPHONY_SERVICE) context.getSystemService (TelephonyManager);

    Hi yuusaku,.

    Thanks for dropping by the forums!

    The telephone number through the TelephonyManager class would not be supported in the BlackBerry Runtime for Android applications by the documentation provided to during extraction: https://developer.blackberry.com/android/apisupport/unsupportedapi_blackberry10_hardware_features.ht...
