BlackBerry Smartphones don't want personal emails showing in email (Curve 8330) of work inbox.

I have correctly set up my e-mail account personal (comcast) on my Curve 8330, but the messages appear in the main reception (work) and the comcast Inbox box.  Does anyone know how to get the device to show them in the personal inbox?

lol, Yes, it has enough technologically not disbursed, lol.

Some users prefer to hide the main message icon and use only the specific e-mail folder. They are automatically filtered in this way. Your yahoo email account just to the folder of Yahoo, only your Gmail comes to your folder of gmail, only your [email protected] email comes to another folder, etc..

You can have up to ten accounts/email addresses on account a device/BIS.

You can do a search for that and all other forums focus on the blackberry, and I think that you will find the answer is... None. I'm sorry.

Now, having said that, a BES account can have a policy that led to him to have the BES mail moved to another folder and BES lets also Empower BES Inbox users... but none of that applies to this situation.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones don't want my AOL Email to be displayed in the mailbox for MESSAGES

I just the Verizon 8300.    I put it up to get my Inbox mail AOL mailbox.    Mail shows up in the "green" on the main screen mail envelope...     There is also a "mailbox" on the main screen.   This mailbox collects each voicecall, SMS AND email that I receive.    Then. I get email in BOTH places.    I don't want the email appears in the mailbox with text and voicecalls... I just want my email is displayed in the 'green' mail envelope

So... does - anyone know how to program the 8300 'not' put my AOL mail in the Inbox mailbox messages?   I've messed around with almost all of the menus... trying to find a way... but no luck.

    Thank you

On your BB device, you have a 'main' folder, which brings together all emails, messages, SMS, messages etc. POLES.

It is as expected. You can delete SMS text messages in a separate folder (message > Menu > Options > General Options > scroll to SMS and Email inboxes and choose > separate.)

You also have an AOL email inbox.  You can hide it, you really don't need.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones to create a personal email on a corporate device

    Greetings:

I have a BES user who wants to access his personal e-mail (gmail) from the device (8820). But whenever we have tried to give a username/password error when configuring through the personal email configuration option.

    Hello!

There is something wrong with the credentials - special characters, alpha versus digital, something. If the configuration via the device does not work, try going to a PC for the BIS Web site and configure it:

    http://www.BlackBerryFAQ.com/index.php/Where_can_I_log_into_my_BIS_account%3F

    http://www.BlackBerry.com/BTSC/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=KB10154

Personally, I never use the peripheral interface bis more... it is just too easy to mistyped something. The Web site interface is much simpler to get right.

Oh - and make sure that the user connects to GMail first and active POP or IMAP (according to their desire)... If they are not active, then access via POP/IMAP does not work.

Let us know how it works.

    See you soon!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones don't want to alert SMS SMS for voicemail

I don't know if the reception of an SMS text message alert me that I must call my voicemail is something that is necessary for BlackBerry devices or not.  The storm is my first BB Phone.  I don't want to be charged for the text messages alerts of new voicemails, because I do not pay for this additional service every month.  I rarely use SMS or MMS, so I do not subscribe to the service, but only pay based on usage.  I spoke with representatives the Verizon store and they tried to call their support line for Verizon, but they have not found a way to stop these alerts.  Maybe someone on this forum could have information on the possibility of shutdown of the SMS text messages without blocking all messages text completely?

Just for some information, I always had service ATT in the past and with this alert using a text message, all the phones that I had not moved.  I wonder if this is a requirement for Blackberry devices.

    Thank you

I guess I better post a few updates on my original post so that everyone doesn't have the wrong impression or information.  I spent a lot more time on the phone with Verizon tech REPS yesterday to investigate what I thought, it was costs for text alerts for my voice messages.  After going to MY VERIZON to check all the links on my Bill, the Rep said to go to the PREVIEW and then fall down a little on the page and look under the part that says the USE OF CELLS.  Click the MESSAGE, click VIEW MY son USE, scroll down to USE TEXT MESSAGES, and then click SEE DETAILS of E-MAIL and it shows phone numbers that the text messages were sent.  I didn't know this feature.  I couldn't find any number that woud appear to come from Verizon for text alerts.  Then, I forgot that I had tried to join Face Book and MySpace, and they have sent SMS for a reason any.  So, SORRY do not understand my billing.  I keep track of all future SMS, I get on my Storm and go to this section of my invoice to compare and check them when I get my next billing cycle.

Thanks for the help everyone.  I hope I got this mystery solved.

  • Using blackBerry Smartphones. I lost my installation disk on my Curve 8330

I lost my disk to install my Curve 8330. I have never installed the program in my computer, but need to save my info that I get a new Blackberry Friday and don't want to lose my directory. Without the disc, I can't sync my phone to save info. What can I do?

Can be a little more specific?  You have already installed on the PC and you get this error when?  You have restarted your computer?   And crazy question... is the Application Loader running?  You click on "Application Loader."

No problem, if it wasn't for questions, it would not be forum, right?

If you have checked the firewall and you can receive, which means that you have the application

Have you done a battery pull or sent books of service since graduating from the device?

    Thank you

  • My Blackberry 8520 blackBerry smartphones don't have an email

He said I must get BIS. I did everything I can as---> configuration--> configuration e-mail---> who wanted to work.
Then I did a registry now, when I got to the host routing table, but it still does not...
I have a tesco sim card and my blackberry is a curve 8520. Is there a way I can fix this issue with/without phoning tesco and with or without change of SIM...
    Thank you xox.

Of course, they can't give you an activation of the company, I said that you need to ask them for the BlackBerry BIS data Plan.

Believe me, they know what it is.

Yes, they have it on Pay as you go.

If you or they still don't know what to ask, say Tesco to designate their own website:

  • BlackBerry Smartphones don't want deleted Outlook appointments

When I synchronize my pearl with Outlook, he wants to delete the nominations of my Outlook calendar.  I like to leave them in Outlookk for reference.  How can I tell it not to delete these items?  So far, I said just to reject the changes, but then it applies to all, even the changes I want to make.  Thanks for any help!  Jen

    Hello

In Desktop Manager, go to the sync

In the upper left corner is the synchronization of the configuration.

Click on it and the gray box for reset config must be activated. Push,

It will tell you that the options are reset. Press the grey button the top of the page indicating the synchronization.

This will take you to the Setup Wizard. When you configure the calendar you can put forever or use the option I

    has suggested.

  • I don't want my emails to thunderbird & my email.only regularly my ACCT of ordinary e-mail.

I don't want my emails to go to outlook and thunderbird only.

In this case I suggest you set up a separate account for install in Thunderbird and remove accounts that you want to use via your other email client Thunderbird.

E-mail doesn't 'go' for a mail client; they are requested by an e-mail client and returned by a server. The only not to get some messages in an e-mail client is to put only not to ask.

But why does not/can not just use Outlook for all?

  • BlackBerry Smartphones separating e-mail personal work email

I have 2 personal email accounts and an ACCT of work.  Each staff acct has its own icon on the desktop that I use to view the Inbox for this account, and that shows when I have the new msgs.  I would like to continue this.  But I would like to stop the personal email appear in my list of main message so that only the work email appears.  Is this possible?  I use a BlackBerry 8820.

    Thank you

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

By default, BES email is made only in posts emails BIS icon/App are placed in their own icons, but they are still contained in the main Messages application. This is how it works by default. It is not redundant - rather, think that Messages like the Tote place, with the BIS independent icons being a filter, traction (from message) to them only messages that relate to them... but if you act on an e-mail (read, delete, etc.) in one, the change will be reflected in the other.

Your BES Admin can push an E-mail BES icon only to your device. This solution is free, but must be conducted at the level of the BES server and will affect all users on the BES server.

Or you can get the application to empower BES Inbox. This solution costs (per user), but does not require a change at the server level and affects only a single user.

Neither solution would do anything on Messages - will continue to contain what it contains today. All they will do is activate an additional icon on your home screen that is a filter for your BES emails only. You can hide or move the Messages icon/app out of the way, but beware - there are more that just the emails that arrive in Messages... it will come a day when you have a new message indicator and only by digging through Messages that you will be able to find this message.

I hope this helps explain how it all works!

    Good luck!

OK, well... a BlackBerry person can't.

The user of the device to remove his BlackBerry, device service books as has been pointed out.

Let me add this, if the user still has his e-mail enabled on the BlackBerry accounts, he could still receive email on their device.
