BlackBerry smartphones download apps from PC world

I have connected my BB 9000 to my PC and you want to download the word applications.

but I n ' uncle any SIM card... now just Wifi.

is it possible can do? seems it says 'problem of operating data.

Thank you

To my knowledge, the current version of the AppWorld requires a full level BB plan data from your provider. If you want to use the AppWorld, you must have a data plan.

There are alternatives - AppWorld is simply a portal, vending apps developed mainly by others. Therefore, it is not your exclusive supply source - there are others that you can try (e.g., Handango, Handmark, BPlay, GetJAR and Mobihand). I found that there are very few applications that is exclusive to AppWorld. You can see the online catalogue and then look for other sources of supply, including quite often on the developer website.

Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones download App World Apps without a data plan

    Hello

I have a Curve 8320 thru ATT, and I was wondering if there is a way to download apps from the App World without having a data plan fee? It seems a shame that there are some useful applications that do not require the internet or a web browser to work and I would be able to download them. I know that the FAQ in the support section said her need but I was hoping that there was another way. I appreciate anyones help with this. Thank you.

Well, there is a solution available probably in many cases. For example, AppWorld is nothing more than a large Center commercial... is not the manufacturer of the finished product. So, we could guess that search the apps you want and go directly to the application developer, bypassing AppWorld and carrier entirely. This might work... but I guess I should not formally recommend such an approach... so don't say no matter who!

  • BlackBerry smartphones download app world: error 905

    Hey you all!

I recently got my new blackberry bold 9790 and I used to be very happy about it until I realized that I can't not all apps...

This all started when I noticed that I couldn't open the icon installed world on my blackberry. I then uninstalled the program and I wanted to download a new one online. but it does not work: I can not download it via USB, so I try via my mobile phone access to the internet. the download starts but at the end of the day, there is always an error pops up: error 905.

You have ideas to solve my problem and that the world of the app? Thank you very much!

Hello and welcome to the community!

I find no reference to the "905" in the KBs public... You may search with more parameters to find something useful:

Please try a hard reset: turn on, remove the back cover and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

In addition, you can try this sequence:

    (1) to remove from your BB AppWorld

    • KB10040 How to view or delete applications on a BlackBerry smartphone
    • He asks to restart the BB,

    (2) a Batt Pull reboot (power on, remove the battery, wait, insert the battery, wait), even if redundant to the one you did in step 1.

    3) install a new copy of AppWorld (on your BB)

    (4) restart another Batt-sweater

    (5) see if it works now.

You can also try to start safe mode:

    • KB17877 How to start a smartphone BlackBerry in Mode safe

It will take several attempts to get the combination of keys ESC (press/release/hold) OK, so be patient. When properly in Safe Mode, thinking... what happened just before this behavior started? A new application? An update? A theme? Something else? Think carefully that the slightest change can be causal... and try to undo all that was. You can also try install AW so only in safe mode.

Good luck and let us know!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones transfer Apps from your old phone to phone upgrade

    Hello

My apologies in advance if this is the wrong place to post this request, but I just got a BB torch as an upgrade and would like to transfer my many apps from my old phone (BB Curve 8520) but don't know how to do it- or do I have to download it again? No problem with free applications, but would rather not buy those that I bought and paid.

Thank you very much in advance for any help.

    Anthony

First, plug your phone BlackBerry Desktop Software and click on the device at the top.  I'm not sure what the exact measurements are to transfer data to your new phone (I don't have access to it right now), but it is not difficult to understand.

From there on, you open AppWorld on your new phone and connect.  Your apps are updated on your new phone.  Those who have not been purchased on AppWorld will not; you will have to reload them manually, but all the AppWorld purchases will transfer themselves.

    I hope that helps you.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones downloaded apps vs fresh data

    Hello, newbie here.

I have a monthly 2 GB of my carrier/provider data. They said that besides that my email, all of the downloaded data from the BB server would free up to that limit its use. Did not have a bill yet, so thought you guys ask about the following:

-Already downloading AppWorld Bloomberg Mobile, Blue Mobile, call Time Tracker, Google Maps and WeatherEye, these applications use BB to disseminate their data or will my provider (and me from bytes one?)

Thanks for your time and your help.

    Luis

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

I think that, no matter what method you use, the use of data will crack against your 2 GB plan. This will include DLing apps, web browsing, e-mail, regardless of the internet access and your applications need to update their data for you. There is no 'private' RIM or app network to carry data for your applications - they must go through your carrier data network and, therefore, subject to whatever terms and conditions of your places of carrier on this use.

    Hope that helps!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones downloaded app (without permission)

I downloaded "Blurts pro" excellent app.  However, I have discovered another app that downloaded also, without any intention.  This app is "Speech-2-text messaging" apparently, it is not compatible with Blackberry.  The icon on the home screen, but do not appear under application management [wanted to delete].  How can I remove homescreen icon?

If the app is without interfering in any way the operation of your phone and you cannot remove it from your list of Applications (which is weird), you can simply hide the icon... out of sight, out of mind.  Highlight the icon with your mouse and press the BB menu key.  Select hide.  This will hide the icon so that you can't see.  If you need it again, while on your home screen press the menu key and select Show all or show all, according to what is present.

Regarding the removal of the application, if you can't do it in your Applications list, try to reload your OS from a backup on BlackBerry Desktop Software.  (If you have never done a backup on BDS, stop reading here.)  Open BlackBerry Desktop Software and click device at the top of the software can restore the menu drop down.  Choose the most recent restore point BEFORE you load the application and click to reload.

    I hope that helps you.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones download app problem

I have a Blackberry Bold 9780.I live in India and got the phone of the Australia.

I tried to download an app "diamond Rush" available on the AppWorld to 0.99USD (Rs.37 INR), but when I clicked on the link for the purchase, it says "the item is not available for your model of camera, device OS, carrier and country combination."

Please advice how to get the App (Game). My carrier is Bharti Airtel.

    Thank you =)

Hello and welcome to the community!

The message must be taken on its face... via AppWorld, which is not available due to one (or several) reasons in the message. If you are able to get other applications very well and the reason is NOT your phone model or the operating system, then this message is a 'one off' and you might be able to find other sources. The best method is to look up, in AW, the developer... then look for otherwise, how they are distributors their app (often, the developer will have a web site that their own which you might be able to get it). Otherwise, your favorite internet search engine could provide that you lead.

AppWorld is simply a portal, vending machines for applications developed by others... therefore, it is only rarely a source of exclusive supply.

    Good luck!

    Good day everyone.

I am new to this forum and post one can you help message.

    I have a Blackberry Storm 2 9550 phone.

My support person wants me to see if reading the codes of the QRC will work on my phone.

I tried to down load an app QRC of Jared. At the end of the installation, he said that she could not support my phone even if the devices it says it supports includes a Blackberry 9550.

What should I do to download this app?

Resolution and appropriate suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    With the best regards

    Bhaj

    Hello

I tried the charge of OTA and received the following message:

  • Impossible re blackBerry smartphones - download apps...

OK - here's one for you...

I just rebuilt my blowtorch; and need to re - download some apps.

The apps show in App World (in the list of uninstalled), however, when I select one, nothing happens.

Interestingly, there is no icons against these applications (but there is if I go directly to the App World).

Don't know what happened here, but I'd like to be able to retrieve my apps.

    Any ideas anyone.  Thank you.

Try to do the steps that you have ignored (HRT, Service books, Reboot). See if that gets your calendar the way you want to.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones download apps on my computer

    Hello

I don't have an email account associated with my Blackberry, so I can not download applications directly in it, how can I download an app on my computer so that I could then load it on my device?

    Thank you

Then you will need to find a source for applications that provides this installation method (which, I believe, leave aside the AppWorld). You can try some of the alternatives I suggested in my previous post... I can't say one way or the other on your point... I consider simply never seen a BB without a data plan.

I could speculate, however, that, having no access to any kind of data, a BB is pretty much a very expensive mobile phone. In addition, many applications require a data connection to do whatever it is that the application only.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones download app .jad file could not be opened on the Z10 black berries

Hi, I need help, I just upgade my phone from BB9900 to BBZ10 and I have the problem to install the application which work very well in BB9900. The *.jad files downloaded to Z10, I try to open but cannot open masagre messages on Z10 show. you have a solution? Thank you

the .jad files are not usable on the Z10, as the BlackBerry10 devices no longer use the traditional OS based on Java that you had on the 9900. These old applications will not work on the Z10.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones download attachments from email on blackberry to my laptop

Is it possible to download attachments of email on my blackberry tour to my laptop via the USB connection?

    Thank you.

When you click an attachment you have a choice called "Download attachment"? If so choose that and a boc black should appear on the screen. You should see a path at the top. So, if you have a memory card in your device this path can say ' / Media Card/BlackBerry/documents ". Also under this path, you should see the book 'Up '. So if you don't want to save the file in the folder documents in the media card, you can select 'Up' and choose a different folder. Once you find where you want to place the file, you can click on the folder and choose "Select here" in the menu that appears.

If you want to see a better view of a media or card the folder structure of the memory of BlackBerry that you can go in your media icon, click the menu button and select Explorer.

On the BlackBerry, go to Options | Media Media Card recommended parameters are:

    Media card support: WE
    Encryption mode: NO
    Mass storage support: WE
Auto enable mass storage Mode when connected: YES

Mass storage mode allows your BlackBerry to act as an extra drive when it is connected to your PC. It will appear as an extra drive letter in Windows Explorer. So you can just drag/release the multimedia files on your memory card

  • BlackBerry Smartphones download photos from my media on my PC card

I am a new user of BlackBerry Storm and I must say that I like this phone. I have however a problem getting my photos in the card support for my PC. I set up my phone to save my photos to the media card and I can view and send the images using my phone. When I connect my phone he asked me if I want to open my camera to view the files. I click to view files and a window opens showing me 2 icons on is the memory of the device and the other is the media card. When I double click the icon of the next window shows all files. I installed the BlackBerry Desktop Manager and he does not see the memory card and the device. Explorer displays only a drive letter for the device when I run Roxio Media Manager, but it never gives me a drive letter to the media card. I would like to be able to print some of these images, but right now I am at a loss on how to get this working.

Hi renegade13 and welcome to the forums!

You can use a PC for the transfer of information between the PC and the media card.
Basically you focus for the BB and PC USB. Don't use office
Manager. Go to 'My Computer' on the PC and the BB will be displayed as a flash drive.
Then you can "drag and drop" files on the BB.
Use the following settings in the option of memory of the storm:

    Card support ON

    NONE encryption mode

(Storm AND "BOLD" only) Media Transfer Protocol

    WE support mass storage

Auto enable mass storage support when it is connected TO
