BlackBerry Smartphones email accounts does not open

I've updated the email accounts and since then I can't open it from the menu setup. I changed the password of my email to work, so I need to change my it in the connection information. Can someone help me?

This is known/hot and was back on BOARD.

In the meantime here is a work-around to edit your accounts:

From your browser, go to mobile.blackberry.com.

Select the country of your choice, then click Communicate > Email.  Scroll to other personal e-mails and click on join now, then start the configuration of e-mail.

You will be able to integrate/modify your e-mail accounts in this way until the RIM has solved the problem.

    Hi AmeeraAhmed

Welcome to the Forums of the BlackBerry Support

To use these Services BlackBerry owners such as emails, etc. BBM.  We need specific plans given by our carrier i; e BlackBerry data Plan / BIS. You have it in your account? • BlackBerry smartphone Email folders do not appear for each new account - available only generic messages folder

I would like to know if it is possible to obtain new accounts I created to appear in a single folder for each account.

With my first Blackberry Curve (new) work I managed to set up my personal account via the Web of BIS site and it automatically created a unique record for this account. I attended the Canada on the Rogers network.

My new job, I have been give a BB used by a previous employee. I've set up two other accounts using the BIS Web site, rather than the BB, and this time no new files have been created. My email all comes in the main folder of Messages. I use a Verizon BB this time.

Note, I tried to add another account via the BB Setup Wizard and when I chose to set up a new account I get the message: "Browser is disabled by the it strategy" - I guess that's my company policy not BB and Verizon. However, I was able to set up other accounts via the site of the BIS...

Thanks for any help you can provide.

    BW

As JSanders is offline, I'll jump in.

All this information, I infer that your BB does not get purified of is political when gave you. And the it policy does things that prevent you to do as you wish (including possibly hide e-mail icons). If, as you say, you won't be on their BES, then I suggest go back you to these admins and let them clean the BB correctly to remove the it strategy. Then, you will want to clean totally and completely from the beginning.

Good luck and let us know!

  • BlackBerry smartphones get Images does not

Hello, all. Until a few days ago everything worked properly. Now when I want to download the images in an email, nothing happens. It does not even show the download icon. And the possibility to get the Images went unless I have move to the text gross and back or leave the email and open again, but there is still nothing if I try to get pictures once again. Thanks for any help!

Perform a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most defects and errors of operating system, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.

  • BlackBerry smartphone touch screen does not work, 2 phone... Torch = junk

It's my 2nd my first Torch torch touch work stoppeed and ATT sent me another...

Now this torch touchscreen stopped working, so far, I did a reboot hard and soft...

now I can do a factory reset or downgrade...

IM starting to think that the torch is undesirable.

Well, I talked to ATT tech support and I actually finally got through to BB and they open a case and gave me a number of good ticket for 3 days...  The first tech support was a dunce and she told me that 7 hours was taken long to upgrade software, so she told me to unplug and re install...  That solves nothing, only bricked my torch, even though she was right about one thing 7 hours is far too long, but it does not solve anything...

then I recalled in support of BB using my ticket number... and here I actually spoke to somebody who knew what he was doing...  We connected through desktop remotely, and he guided me...

He told me to never update device software when the software asks you to update...  I told him, I was getting a white screen and it says App Error 200...  He told me that we have a clean wipe and install everything new facility...  He has directed to the site from ATT and I DL the latest peripherique.246 software...  Then after it DL'ed I installed;...

then he had me to connect the device again AND GO INTO PROGRAMS CAN record B\LACKBERRY

then find charger, here, he had me select the apps I would like to, and then click Next...

then after 5 minutes it finished loading, he then told me to wait another 10 minutes for the device to reboot and then my torch works!

If anybodys touchscreen doesn't work more or torch is made of bricks, I highly recommend doing this procedure...

I called BB again and had them send me an email for accurate insrucions, so I recorded in case this happens again... Here it is...  Keep in mind first you need access to the ATT site will link you to the site Web de Blackberry and then DL file then open and install and do the following...

Check that the device client software is installed on their computer, or it won't work.

    1. click on the start menu
    2. go in my computer
    3. go in: C:/Program Files/Common Files/Research in Motion/Apploader
    -If its 64-bit windows, it will be C:/Program Files(x86) /Common Files/Research in Motion/Apploader
    4. double-click on "loader.exe" (it may be called "loader" according to windows settings)
    5. a window opens saying "welcome in the application loader wizard." Click next
6 next, where it is written 'Connection' to ensure that either "USB - PIN:" or "USB - PIN: UNKNOWN" appear. ""
    7. click on next. It take a while to connect to the device and then view the Application selection screen.
-L'application selection screen will be a list of application control.
-Items that are checked will be installed, if they do not already exist on the device.
-Items that are not checked will not install, and if they already exist on the device they will be deleted.
    8. ask the customer to scroll through this list and check all applications they know they would like on their blackberry.
    9. once everything looks good, click Next.
    10. click on the Advanced button.
    11. make sure that 'remove all previously installed applications' and "Delete all application data" is checked.
    12. click Next.
    13. If loader.exe asks you if you want to automatically back up and restore data, select "do not automatically backup and restore."
    14. click Next and then finish
15 advise the customer that this process can take anywhere from 20 to 40 minutes, and everything they do during this time is to ensure that the blackberry is connected. The first time that their blackberry starts after this process, it will stay on the screen of the hourglass for about 10 minutes, nothing to worry about.

Once the client can see the home screen of their blackberry, they're OK disconnect.

The customer will have to re - turn on their radio, they can do so by going to manage connections > select Mobile network

  • BlackBerry smartphone email acc do not push

    Hello!

Recently, I created a new account in zoho mail and I have problems zoho mail-It does not make pushed to my blackberry. When I added this email to my BB, I received an e-mail about RIM:

Action: leave messages on the server
If you use an e-mail client (Microsoft Outlook, Mozilla Thunderbird, etc.) to access your
@zoho.com messages, change your mail client settings to let your e-mail messages on the server.
If the e-mail client does not e-mail messages on the server, the BlackBerry Internet Service (r) is perhaps not able
deliver them to your device BlackBerry (r).

To leave email messages on your e-mail server, you may need to perform the following steps:

    1. in your e-mail client (Outlook, Thunderbird, etc.) on your computer, under tools or Mail > Preferences.

    2. Select your e-mail account.

    3. locate Advanced settings of the server or the options.

    4. Select an option to leave emails on the server.

See your customer e-mail help for more information.

However, I do not use any email client, just the default web e-mail client and emails are not always rushed to my BB. I tried to remove the VAC and re adding, but it did not help. I get emails periodically every 15 min, but with BIS and push, it should be instant. Also the other aspects of the push function do not work. For example, if I'm reading an email on my BB, it does not get marked as read on the server and if I send an email from my computer, I get a copy on my BB.

I tried reconsiliate, return service directories, all settings appear correct.

Zoho mail support gave me the following response:

Checking the logs to your e-mail of Zoho account, we could see a request for the mails to get removed from the Zoho server. So, you have activated the option "Delete a copy of messages on the server" in a client, which could be even your Blackberry device. Make sure that you disable this option.

    Any help?

    THX

Can not be that it works fine for me... Good try these

Go to Oprtions > Dsomething > advanced system settings > Service books

Remove these two service books & also remove your email address in the BIS account (if you have added via a device, and then under editing > e-mail settings)

Later to do HRT as below

Go to Oprtions > DAge > advanced system settings > host Routing Table > click on the touch menu blackbery & select Save now

Once done... Do a battery pull (remove and reinsert)

    Try to add new email...

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Email icon will not be displayed

I've added an email account to my weeks of phone and the little icon appeared immediately and I received messages.

Randomly, today, the icon has disappeared from my home screen (although the email will continue to come through my Messages folder).  I tried everything turning the phone off tension, then back on, delete the account and setting up again and nothing.

Anyone know why that would happen?

I have a few other suggestions:

    1. It could have been hidden or moved to another folder accidentally.  The absolute best way to fix this is to Options > theme, press the BB Menu key and select Reset default theme.  It will take all of the icons that were accidentally hidden and re - expose their (and move all icons back to their original position).  Note that you need to move all the icons you want moved again.  Try doing a battery pull after that as well.  This could bring.  If this is not the case, proceed to the next step.
    2. Re-register your device on the BlackBerry network and resend your service books.  To re-register your device, go to Options > Advanced Options > host Routing Table.  Press the BB Menu key, then click on register now.  You will get a new message from the BlackBerry network.  If you can access your site from the BIS, connect via your phone (review the configuration > e-mail settings) or through your computer (Google your carrier + BIS as keywords if you do not know the site).  Once you have connected, on your Storm, press the BB Menu key, and select send Service directories.  On a computer, select Service books in the left menu and return them there.  If you do not know your login information, you can contact the technical support of your operator and ask them to send the directories of service for you.  It takes just a minute.  Once again, followed with a battery pull.

I hope that one of these two suggestions will work!  Keep us informed!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones email accounts disappear and cannot log in settings

for the second time now, my email accounts are gone... very annoying, but this time I can't even return in the parameters, he claims, there are no accounts, but when you enter the menu to add new accounts must connect to my hotmail account, who then won't work, saying "cannot continue this session."

    Hey, a few questions.

On-screen connection management > Services status on the line of BlackBerry Internet service: what is the status?

On the home screen, upper right corner, which is the signal indicator here?

You can try this, to change the method of logging into your BIS account?

Article ID: KB14378 How to change the connection mode for a BlackBerry Internet Service account

Now, if this does not work and that you can not create a BIS connection, you must call cable & Wireless and ask them to push you the books of service for your device.

You must ask them to ensure that you have the BlackBerry data Plan on your mobile account, and that your IMEI/PIN are on your account for this device.

IF still nothing, you should ask them to bring this problem to a support technique level RIM.
