BlackBerry Smartphones Email problems

I am now using service BIS in Hong Kong with my Bold 9900 OS 7.0.

I tried to configure my BB to send and receive emails through my BB. Gmail has no problem because the installation is simple. However, when you configure with my email account of society (which use BES) with Microsoft Exchange 2003, it is not successful because she need BES service.

I tried to use webmail method to access my e-mail account on microsoft exchange, but it has not as well (403 error).

Finally, noticed that my business email account support POP access, I have so used the option POP set up my account on BB. It automatically detects the port (995) with SSL protection settings. So finally, I can get my email from the exchange server (although there is maximum 15 minutes late due to the use of the 'pull' technology to shoot again message from the mailbox on the exchange server).

But the following problems still exist:

I can send email from my Gmail account on my company's e-mail account and I can send email from my email to my Gmail account company account. Another colleague in my company can send e-mail to me and my BB can 'pull' send to my phone. However, I can send e-mail using my company (using BB) e-mail account to my colleague, but they can only receive.

How can I solve this problem? Help, please. Thank you!

You probably haven't CMIME e-mail service book on your phone, which has the Type of Service: Blackberry Enterprise Solution because you have a BIS service. It can even allow you to send and receive emails and to other regular e-mail but not with emails secure such as BES.

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

    I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should try remove and re-add your BIS configuration for these accounts.

    I wanted a BB for centuries now, finally got a BB Torch 9860 yesterday and now my head is spinning with all the problems I encounter. First of all, I can only access Facebook via my connection wi - fi home, once I hit my wi - fi and try to access FB using my mobile connection, it's just can't, why? I never had these problems with my HTC Android mobile. However, my big concern is that I can not put an e-mail account, the only option I gave up in game is to set up a business account? What is c?     Do you have a data Plan BlackBerry enabled on your account with your carrier or mobile provider?

But only has 1 option that says: I want to use a professional email with Blackberry Enterprise Server account.  This is not what I want to do?  Of course, I tried to set up there, but without success...     If this does not it, it's on the door-side (as they have told you), and unless you have a way to fight them, you must wait for them to solve. You can, of course, check your contract documentation to see if it is at any point in the required resolution that they must respect... that normally would require so some financial remedies to their users. I have no idea what your contract might say in this regard, however.

  • Torch 9800 blackBerry Smartphone email not showing problem!

    I got my BB Torch 9800 for a few months. Already used to work properly, all my emails used appears in the messages folder. But these days, when I get emails my bb flashes red and it shows on the top of screen email icon. But when I open my messages folder shows an empty without any email folder, even though I can see the icon of e-mail showing pending emails there. I'm aware of this option which, if I press menu bb and then tap show all, my e-mail address with my name will appear. This way I can display the e-mails received. But I don't want to use this option, because I prefer all my emails go to the messages folder, that way I can have more space to download other applications. Please help and any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance

    Note: if I recharge my camera all e-mails shows up in the messages folder. I don't want to reboot my device whenever I face this prblem.

    You might have a problem with your database of Messages. Try to clear the database and tests of new messages.

  • BlackBerry smartphone email set up and old problems owner

    My brother gave me his old storm. I put my t mobile account chip and bought the data plan and most of the functionality seems to work (I think).

    Email my brother is still in the e-mail button and blackberry cannot connect to the mail server so that I can enjoy his email and put mine.

    Also when I make a call the "My number" shows the number of my brother.

    Is there a way to fix this. He needs to unregister somewhere. He needs to go to his carrier Version to change something?

    Recently, I noticed that my bbm "n" shortcut did not, all the other shortcuts like memo, calculator, etc. have been working well. I cross checked the "n" key on the message, e-mail etc., which works very well. It was obvious that the key is fine, probably thinking of the device is in need of an upgrade of the OS, I upgraded to 6.0.0.706 to the download site for the India BB software. Since then he has screwed my application of messaging and bbm on the device configuration. The problem started after I configured my device after the upgrade of the OS, without doing something fancy. Now, I am unable to work my e-mail installation or bbm.

    I have a return to the top of my contacts, which I've tried to run over and over again, but it brings back me to the original configuration and asks me to enter the display name. Now restore backup should restore my profile/contacts, but it doesn't. On a positive note, my shortcut for bbm works!

    I would also like to bring to your notice that I have a bis plan on my device, active, but after upgrading my app world or native applications do not work on bis but wifi. Strange! Now the question is why would the upgrade of a simple bone cause me so many problems. I upgraded my phone several times since I bought it. This is driving me crazy and crazy, this phone has an excellent reputation and does not mean I am a bit disappointed by his performance or his now making me hurt.

    Did you mean that your emails and text messages are coming in the same folder? If so then try the following-

    Separate messages-> Options-> General Options-> E-mail and SMS: separate

    If you mean your different built-in emails appearing in mail and separate mail folder then please be informed that this default happenes. BlackBerry smartphone is designed as such if you think this is awkward, can hide Messages folder (press the Alt button-> click-> Menu select hide).

    I have my email through godaddy, which is secureserver.net. This is Courier IMAP. From Friday or Saturday, my emails do not grow automatically. Sometimes it should be hours and hours before all my emails will pour out at once. Battery pull worked, but now the battery pull does nothing.

    I tried to send service books today, but now I can't even access the e-mail account management option to send service directories. When I enter the application, it says 'check updates' but never recovers. I left about 10 minutes today and will continue to say: "check updates".

    Anyone else having any questions or know what in the world happens suddenly? Any help is greatly appreciated!

    What's the accurate and complete error message? Because I can't find anything to use these 3 words of jost... Maybe it's that the configuration of email application has a problem... this KB might help:

    Sometimes a simple restart battery pull is able to solve this problem, but always on your home screen, open the main Message box > highlight a day say today > press the Menu key > click Mark read beforehand. Finally, perform a restart battery pull by removing the battery while your device is turned on, wait a minimum then reinsert back. After the reboot, see if the problem resolves.

  • BlackBerry® Smartphones email does not not on 9700

    Hoping someone can help me here.

    I'm trying to fix Bold 9700 from my mother-in-law.  I know that I had this same problem with my 9700 old a few years ago, but don't remember how I fixed it.

    Its BB was working fine, then emails came only sporadically.  She called Rogers, technical support and they told him to do a full restore.  After the full restoration, she has absolutely no email and when you click on the e-mail configuration in the installation section it goes absolutely nowhere... almost as if it has never been activated.

    I tried

    -a reload of the operating system available (same problem)

    -a return of service books (an email comes through recorded everything, but then nothing else comes through)

    All the other features of the phone seem to work perfectly.  The person of Rogers told him that the problem was because the phone is old and it's broken and won't work anymore.  I do not subscribe to this belief and am sure that we can get it up and going again for her.

    So can offer help here on how to fix this?

    You have tried a lot of things... Here's a little more perhaps.

    I have a BB 8830, my frustration is that when I send an email from my BB or my account gmail online I always receive an email from myself of what I just sent.  How can I stop it?

    Cause of the problem

    Webmail Gmail accounts were not separate sent items and Inbox folders. The web page of Gmail account contains a Messages link on the left side, but is not a folder separate from the Inbox. Webmail gmail messages are grouped into conversations, which leads to all messages sent and responses of others appearing as an entry of a single e-mail message in the Inbox. This allows to easily read and look on the web page of Gmail, but, when it is integrated with the BlackBerry Internet Service account, results in copies of sent e-mails on the BlackBerry smartphone as new e-mail messages.

    Resolution

    To prevent messages sent back to the BlackBerry smartphone each time, create a filter in the BlackBerry Internet Service account to block sending these messages to the BlackBerry smartphone.

    To create a filter, follow these steps:

    1. Connect to the BlackBerry Internet Service account. For instructions on how to connect to the BlackBerry Internet Service account, see KB03781.
    2. Click the icon of filters next to the built-in Gmail account.
    3. To create a new filter, click Add a filter .
    4. Configure the filter to ensure that messages are not sent to the BlackBerry smartphone if the message coming from the integration of webmail Gmail account:
    • Type a name for the filter in the filter name field. For example, my messages to email Gmail.
    • Assign to the field filter to apply when 'FROM' field.
    • In the contains field, type the address of the Gmail webmail. For example, @gmail.com >.
    • Select the next radio button of do not forward messages to unit.
    • Click on add filter.

    Note: After you create this filter, e-mail messages will not be received on the smartphone BlackBerry if sent to the Gmail webmail account.
