BlackBerry Smartphones Firefox Web Browser - where to find?

Hi all

I read that some old discussions, and some of them have suggested that Firefox has cured some of their questions.

They did it by setting their browser Firefox on their Blackberry Storm.

I can't find a mobile version of Firefox anywhere.

Could you get it someone please let me know the following:

(a) if there is a mobile Firefox

(b) where can I download it

Thanks in advance for your help...

There is not a mobile web browser to FF for BB.

However, you can emulate the FF browser to browser > Options > Broswer Configuration > browser Identification > Firefox.

  • How can I report a problem with the Firefox Web browser?

I use the Firefox web browser, my OS is Windows 10 pro. I am the webmaster for the site http://eckankarinoklahoma.org. When I revise and update the pages of the site, Firefox does not recognize changes you make until I hit the button reload (renewal) to the right of the address. However, when there is no button to reload a page, Firefox won't recognize the changes that have been made until I delete my browsing history. It seems to read pages web history. I tried everything to reload the page to get out of the site and back, etc.. to get Firefox to recognize the changes but it will not. As I said, the only way I can get it to recognize the changes is to delete my history, which is a real pain. The page is not a reload button is a password protected page. See the above site and click on the left menu "Connect members here." However, by visiting this page, you'll be able to see the problem until what you have visited and there again once it has been revised. The only revision made to this page is the date in the label asking the password. The password works fine, it's just that the label will never update and it is important for users to know in what section to find the password. Sorry for the verbosity of the present, but I hope you get the idea of the problem.

When I look at this home page in the cache, I see that he arrived at expiration (date/time expiration in the past) and so Firefox should look for changes on the next load. If you check your cache, the pages of problem also expire? You can paste the following text in the address bar and press ENTER to load the cache for the homepage information:

    on:-l' the cache entry? storage = disc & uri = http://eckankarinoklahoma. org /.

To display everything in the cache, start on the topic: cache page.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones only "hotspot browser".

I've updated my facebook application to the latest version, but just after that the update of it... i cannot connect to facebook or any other internet-based application. My bbm has stopped working and I could no longer emails. I went to the options of the browser and discovered that I could only go on the internet via a hotspot "browser"... There is no other choice. I tried the battery pull or HRT "sign up now" option but nothing happens. ".  I had my SIM card and inserted into my wife BB and everything works fine.

I don't know what to do next... Please help

Hello and welcome to the community!

I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network

    (2) remove and return Service directories

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If this isn't the case, then you should contact your provider of wireless services for formal support.

  • Unable to run email of announcement of Craigslist with Firefox web browser. The link works fine when you use Internet Explorer. Don't know why this problem?

When I click on send to a Craigslist of announcements of sale, e-mail software does not run. When I used the same craigslist Web page with Internet Explorer, the e-mail program runs without any problem. Not sure why this problem?

If you change your preference of mail helper in Firefox for 'other use '.... "you are presented with a command prompt to select an application click 'Browse... '. "and browse your computer for the program of choice. Even if you're already shown two e-mail programs, try to re - select the one you want to use via the method go and then try again to open a mailto link.

If this does not work, open your profile button in folder

         Help > Troubleshooting Information

and the release of Firefox. With Firefox closed, remove the file "mimeTypes.rdf" of your profile folder, and then restart Firefox and Firefox will re - build the helper, file applications and you can try again to send someone from a link.

  • Problem blackBerry Smartphones T Mobile browser

Hello everyone, I just activated a monthly plan with T-mobile for my torch 9810, I can't access a Web page except the home page. I'm a timed message.

I can access all the sites using the browser opera without any problem, that would be me mind not normally, but I don't see a way to make the browser opera, the default browser. has anyone else had this problem and managed to fix

I was on T Mobile mount and they forced me to change certain settings without success, at the end of the call the tech guy told me that I have to live with it.

    all thoughts

    Thanks in advance

    mast

You'll just have to live with it?  And they pay these people to solve your problems?

Let me assure you here and now, you don't have to live with it.  The tech answer is unacceptable, and I hope you get a chance to say that T-Mobile.

Okay, enough ranting.  As a general rule, if the Opera browser works and your BlackBerry browser does not work, this means that you have a package of generic data for your BlackBerry as opposed to an appropriate data BlackBerry (BIS) plan.  The tech did you know you have a BlackBerry phone?  I recall and make sure that this is the case.  Once you have recalled and confirmed, you'll want to register for the phone on the network.  Do so by following these guidelines:

    http://www.BlackBerry.com/BTSC/KB00510

Next step, return of service on your phone directories:

    http://www.BlackBerry.com/BTSC/KB15402

Finally, remove the battery while your phone is on, and then replace it.

If these steps, excellent work.  If this is not the case, call the T-Mobile and explain that these steps were not working and like you a have the problem solved by them, or (b) do you have your problem of lift on BOARD for resolution without cost to you (that is your right if they cannot solve it.  It's actually in their contract with RIM).  In no case you "have to live with it."  I've never heard something so ridiculous!

Keep us updated on your progress.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not browse internet on Bold 9700

Help, please! I can't browse the internet. When I click the trackpad in the browser, that nothing is happening.

I know that this is not the phone, because the trackpad works in all applications and when texting and answering emails. The only place where it does not work is when I'm going through.

Someone knows why--or how to fix it?

Do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way:

With the BlackBerry powereddevice, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this way is prescirbed for most the gltiches and operating system errors, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.

    Now, please restart your browser.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones on WiFi browser does not...

    Hello..

I ran some tests to see check the speed of my browser on my home network on ATT.  When I turn off the Mobile network and turn the wifi to my home network, I get an error in my browser "you are not currently in an area that can handle the communication of data.

I've successfully connected to my home network, as evidenced by the situation on the top of the home screen.  Is there one other setting I need to select to "force" the use of my network domestic?  I used to have this in my "BOLD" settings under options in the browser, but from what I've read the connection switch is supposed to happen automatically on the browser of the torch.

    Any help would be great!

    THX.

I was running into the same problem and found that when we talk of a technician of the AT & T if you go to your icon 'Manage the connection', click on 'Set Up Wi - Fi network', highlight and click on 'Saved Wi - Fi networks', this will open your existing networks that are available and you have the possibility to move your networks available in any order you want.  Now with the network connection, it will search in the order of your networks available in the list and I personally found that my house and AT & T Wi - Fi was low on the list of available networks and once I moved to the top two solved this problem on don't slow no connection for me.

Now my problem that I find the "internet / browser" is that I have to zoom in several times on each page to display.  I tried to load several different browsers and to my dismay, no charge, any suggestions on this issue.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones does anyone know where I can get the original Blackberry single ring ringtone from?

It was the ringtone as the default for my old Storm, but for some reason, is not present on my Torch.

You know what it is - you like the same ringtone (and defo not a crap song, or anything too cheesy in the workplace) and the original BB single ring ringtone distringuished you like a BB user by an opposition to the typical Nokia or other combined cycle.

Where is he past? The closest I can find these days is "VITAL" on my torch... where is the original. Can I download on my handset from somewhere?

Well, copy the two files and see where that you take.

Have you tried to access this folder from your device when you are always connected in mass storage mode?  If so, unplug it and see if you can find it then.  You can't have your card from your camera in mass storage mode.

  • Help blackBerry Smartphones! My browser loading slowly and remains to a blank page.

I have; ve tried to restart my phone, removing the battery and nothing does. The only web address that seems to work is my bookmark Google Translate. IDK why, but it works... I miss my internet! As I pay for it!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Outlook Web Access

Hoping someone can help here, but I have the feeling that I can't do what I'm trying to do.

Bought my wife a new BB 8520. everything is great... Then, she asks if she can connect to his work email (Exchange). I think 'Yes' because she can use OWA from home. So worst case I can just navigate to the URL and access it that way. Of course that usually work for OWA wants a 'real' browser like IE to work.

I do more reading and see that you can implement an Exchange Server through the normal 'setup' and go in the research. I can set up all kinds of e-mail (Yahoo, etc.) systems, but there is no option for the address of the server in its Exchange Server. So, I'm sure it's impossible.

    My question is

    (1) is there a software out there to load on the BB action such as OWA?

    (2) in order to implement a server since the Blackberry the Organization should have a configuration of BES and put in place? That is, if ONLY the enterprise activation would give me the possibility of "Exchange" when you configure the mail?

    Does make sense?

Personally I don't see anything about what I want to do (I have the address of the server OWA etc.) ... any thoughts what guys/girls?

    Thanks in advance...

    Ok.. all workers...

    Here's what I found...

By typing just the email address and password the bb must somehow 'interrogate' this address/server and extract what he needs because it works without keying any server in any details... don't ask me how or why, but this market...

No idea why it seemed not to do it at first...

Thank you so much for your help in this...

  • BlackBerry Smartphones not web accessible, can not run applications, no GPS, no Blackberry ID on my torch

My lamp does nothing except place & receive calls. It started when I could not access the websites (all is a DNS error), then I found I couldn't run all the apps - phone says I don't have a Blackberry ID when I do pretty darn well, cannot perform any mapping software for GPS always says "location cannot be found." I uninstalled Blackberry App World, but now none of my apps work. I guess I need an answer because unless you give me a call I can't do anything else with this phone. Oh yes - enter the Options and Setup does not work, because I get an error message saying: my phone has no idea of who I am, all the while I see my information by filling in the fields behind the error message bubble. Holy Mother - where to start with this useless device?

and no luck on the connections options?

I think it's time to reload the software for your phone:
