  Locking on Holstering

  1. in the terminal options, click password.
  2. change the Lock Pocket Holster Yes
  3. press the Menu key.
  4. click on save.

  Often, the ability to 'push' BONE won't push major updates of carriers to their customers. Sometimes you have to "pull". This procedure is the best I can do:

  If your operator has not published the BONE level you want but find another carrier who has, you can use this another carriers OS package simply insert, between steps 1 and 2, the deletion, on your PC, a file named PROVIDER. XML.

  You can either go to each individual PIMS and calendar to turn it off.  for example go to calendar > Options > Desktop > wireless sync.

  Or you can go to Options > advanced options > Enterprise Options.  Once you're there, press and hold "Alt" key + cnfg, then you should be able to see the wireless sync options in there, just change no. "

  Your questions can probably be related to the same thing... the absence of a BB data plan appropriate to your mobile service provider. Installation of certain levels of OS request subscription to a plan... the advice that is given above allows you to bypass this restriction. Many owners BB services require subscription to a data plan appropriate... that are missing, you may not use these services, even if via WiFi only. A BB without a good data plan BIS-level is a device very difficult indeed.
