BlackBerry smartphones, I can't locate the Internet e-mail configuration option

I follow demo and instructions of installation internet e-mail account set up on my new Torch 9800.  My setup of e-mail goes direct to the activation of the account of the company - no option to select the internet e-mail account or e-mail of the company.  I have tried the factory reset - just in case I had messed up during the initial configuration of the new phone.  the software is V6.0.0.600 platform6.6.0.233).  My UK 3 account is internet enabled (all works on my old Samsung Galaxy S phone).  Advice please.

Do you have a data Plan BlackBerry enabled on your account with your carrier or mobile provider?

You have to, to get the push RIM email functions you are looking for, as well as services of BlackBerry data such as the Web browser, Facebook for BlackBerry, BlackBerry Messenger and much more.

Then call your carrier and you learn about to have added to your account BlackBerry data Plan.

Good luck.

  • BlackBerry smartphones, I can't access the internet.

I have a Pearl 8130.  When I activated the phone first I was able to access and browse the internet.  For some reason, the icon that I have used to have I clicked to give me access to the internet has disappeared.  I pay for unlimited data usage, so that shouldn't be the problem.  I do not have a link to download ringtones on the media page.  I followed the directions of Blackberry to download ringtones and it is not just a link that says download ringtones.  Any help with these problems would be greatly appreciated.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones not always connect to the internet to order but can still receive emails

I have a curve 8330 on the Altell/Verizon network and for some strange reason when I try to connect to the internet, it will not always be required, it will connect and work very well, so no more 5 minutes later it doesn't connect on another ten minutes, although I am always able to receive emails even when it does not connect to the internet. It is always 1 X and 1 x no, and I tried all the simple fixes like a traction battery etc. Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you.

Since you get only 1 X, I suggest contact you VZW support... something is wrong. 1 X means that everything happens through the network of the voice... which may include internet access, but it will be slow and flaky. EV will give you the power of the information network... but VZW needs to help you understand why you're not getting that.

  • BlackBerry smartphones, I can't connect to Internet with WIFI

    Hello!

First of all, sorry for my so bad English but I am French ;-)

    I'm so desperate!

I have a Blackberry Curve 8520. I bought it in July. It worked very well, but since 3 months ago, I can't connect the BB Internet (with WiFi or WAP).

I tried a lot of Wi - Fi, I tried all the options and now I'm so desperate... Nothing works for me.

    Can someone help me please?

How do you see that you are not connected...?

Do you have a data Plan on your mobile account valid BlackBerry?

Or are you ONLY using WiFi?

Open your browser > Menu key > Options > Explorer and a game the browser to HotSpot and save.

Now, go back to the browser and IF you are connected to a WiFi router, your browser will only work.

  • BlackBerry smartphones, I can't connect to internet Browser

    Hello

My Blackberry Torch can not connect to the internet browser today.  I'm in Ajax which is just east of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Electronic mail and cards work, but not internet.

I am on a regular monthly basis plan and don't think I've changed all the settings.

Where should I start looking for a solution?

    Thank you

    Mark

Try a battery pull if you please, with the BlackBerry device powered on, remove the battery 15 seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot the device. This will clear all hide as restarting a PC. Then try again and see if the problem persists.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones not able to access the internet with the new carrier

I use a curve 9220. I was using the Vodafone network. But just shifted to Airtel. I inserted the sim card in the handset. Signals come very well. But I'm unable to access the internet even though I subscribed to a prepaid internet pack.  The messege is coming like this:

Navigation via the cellular network is not part of the includedas of your current service plan. To browse the web, you should use the Wi - Fi or contact your service provider to change your service plan.

When went to Airtel site for mobile internet settings, I had something like this:

Your handset does not support live Internet settings. Please refer to the table below to configure the settings manually.

    Name of the parameter
    Account name: Airtel (GPRS)
    User name:
    Password:
    «"" "Home page:»»"» http://live.airtelworld.com
    Proxy: Activated / no
    Proxy address and the server:
    Proxy port and the server:
Data carrier: GPRS or packet data
    Access point name: airtelgprs.com
    Authentication type: Normal
    Use preferred access point NO.

    Please suggest what to do

Only with BlackBerry 10 you can navigate without BIS, with old devices don't.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones how can I get the bolt thunder wallpaper shown in BlackBerry101 for the storm?

My Verizon Blackberry 9530 shows the wallpaper loaded by Verizon (a big check) but I want to replace it with the image of a stormy sky and lightning shown in the tutorial 101 for BlackBerry storm.  Can someone please send me this image file or a link to it?

You can find the photo of lightning on the internet and import it into the memory card in your device. When you sign in you BB on your computer, you should be able to see it as another drive (if you have set up in Mass Storage. Otherwise go to options, memory and select 'Yes' to support mass storage).

I found the photo here http://www.blackberrystormwallpaper.com/nature-wallpaper/lightning-storm/.

Once you have imported the image into the memory of your device, disconnect the device from your computer. Go to 'Media', click on images and find the photo. Select it (without clicking), click on the BB button and click on "set as home screen Image".

    Thank you

1 you have THE BlackBerry data Plan of Tmoble, not a generic unlimited internet package.

    2. same deal. For BlackBerry Maps work, you must have THE BlackBerry data Plan.

You have to, to get the push email RIM works as well as services of BlackBerry data such as the Web browser, Facebook for BlackBerry, BlackBerry Messenger and much more.

Then call your carrier and you learn about to have added to your account BlackBerry data Plan.

    Good luck.

  • BlackBerry smartphone creating Signature by using the Internet Service

Is there an easy way to do this?  When a part of a network of Enterprise Server, it was very simple, but is less obvious as a user of the internet.

You can log into your BIS carrier's Web site and go to the section email accounts to change your signature. You don't mention which carrier you have, so if you need help to find the site just reply back and let us know. Thank you

  • BlackBerry Smartphones how can I combine the SMS Messages of previous backups?

I have a Blackberry 8900 and I recently spent the storm.  I did the weekly incremental backups, however, did not notice my SMS have deleted every 30 days and I need to restore/recreate everything on my phone for the search.  How can I do this?  I used Dashwire in the past, but it does not support Blackberry.  If I used the feature in the Desktop Manager, it replaces the existing SMS messages.  Is it possible to 'Save' messages without crushing them, or can I use Windows to access the file as an Excel file?  Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately using the backup and restore feature, the databases on the BlackBerry will just overwrite with the information contained in the backup file. It does not add to data already there.

There is software called ABC Amber BlackBerry Converter can convert it to a format you can manipulate your computer from the backup file

  • BlackBerry Smartphones how can I disable the sound whenever I get a facebook comment?

Hello!  I had no problem at all with this wonderful new Blackberry "BOLD" and have totally enjoyed every minute of usage EXCEPT every time that I get a comment on Facebook, I get a sound notification.  This can be really annoying in the middle of the night!  How can I disable the sound for this? Please help because I do not get a good night's sleep unless I turn off the phone - which is not an option.

Hi, you could put the phone in bedside mode this will stop all notifications for alerts / sounds in this mode...

otherwise go to messages > hit menu > scroll to alarm messages > scroll other > select facebook > and make any adjustments to your liking here.

    Thank you

  • Sync of DM of blackBerry Smartphones 'are not connected to the internet.

I have the BB Curve 8330. I HAD DM 4.3. I bought the new computer, with Windows 7, and I downloaded the latest version of the DM. Now the message says that you are not connected to the internet. I did a lot of research today, and I do not understand much about the proxies. The only thing I see is that I listed port 80, but I see no other. I don't know if I need these two ports, and if I do, I do not understand how to find the address and add the other port. I know as little about proxies that I don't even know if I am this wording of the questions correctly! Sorry! I hope someone can help without a really complicated solution!

Sorry that I was not back to meet and finalize this - had some seedlings to make! Finally got between this rain! I digress... Well had a few other issues with my new computer, HP have called and got help from them - couldn't even send and receive emails more. I'm embarrassed to say that the problem with my timing and electronic mail was Norton Antivirus! I had to uninstall it - that you can't even do it right on your computer, you must go to their website and get a special tool to uninstall it and when it was all finished, my e-mail has started working again and so did my syncing. I can't believe that a program like this can cause so much havoc. I know there are a lot of threads that say to deal with your antivirus, but there was a trial version on my new computer that I had not subscribed too, and even the trial were exhausted. I had checked all my settings on anti-virus, but it didn't matter. I had to uninstall all.  Thanks for your help anyway. You always learn a lot that you go when you run into problems. My own Kaspersky program is now installed, my BB is in sync, work e-mail, and seeding is finished - everything is good!
