• BlackBerry smartphones must have data plan?

  Why is Verizon requires the data but not Cingular plan not?  I would like to than the blackberry for features to have my outlook on my phone calendar.  I realize without wireless sync I have to use a cable on a daily basis to update.  I'm fine with, I don't however need recover emails from work on my phone all day while I'm sitting at my desk.  I know people with Cingular that have blackberrys without data plan and people with Verizon, which projected data automatically added to their bill when they bought the blackberry.  Verizon told me it's a question of RIM Blackberry, not a matter of Verizon. Why Blackberry have different policies with these two carriers?

  Hi all.  I need help as soon as possible please. I have searched, but probably did not use the right conditions to refine what I was looking for.  But I need someone who can help as soon as possible.

  I have a client with a Bold 9700, I've updated since a curve 8230-, but had similar questions.  In any case, the customer has several folders and rules in Outlook 2007 to move the items in those folders.

  The problem: when I navigate to Options > e-mail settings > Folder Redirection - shows desktop only and it is not extensible.   If I choose to view the folders, I see that browser and nothing related to Outlook folders.  We use the synchronization for ALL wireless and DM is not available for the Office of the customer. (yes I know...)

  What I tried:

  Activation of a new device.

  Remove CMIME and sending Service books.

  Updated the encryption key

  I checked the BES (5.02) to display the parameters of Redirection of customers, I can see the folders and that they are selected, but not on camera.

  Please... Please... Help!

  Welcome to the community of BlackBerry Support Forums.

  Follow these steps to recover the files on the BlackBerry:

  1 wipe the BlackBerry smartphone. Options > Security Options > wipe handheld

  2 remove from the BlackBerry Enterprise Server BlackBerry smartphone user account

  3. When you are prompted to delete the information form that is associated with the mailbox, select Yes

  4. Add users of BlackBerry smartphone on the BlackBerry Enterprise Server

  5. set a new password for activation

  6. do a new Enterprise Activation.

  Once activation is complete, you should see once more records.  Let me know if you encounter any problems.

  I have a problem with my BlackBerry 8520, the problem is that there is no browser is there if I hold the home button in but when I opened it is said 'your device not currently has all the Configuration Browser Service book entries. Please contect service provider to enable the browser on your device"witch I did. And they did not help at all that I am with Vodacom. Answer with very clear details on how to solve this problem.

  If it is used then you have done these steps that must be taken after the purchase of a unit of opportunity? So I prefer that you do a full backup of your device using the BlackBerry Desktop Software, to check this KB:

  On your device homescreen go to Options > device > BlackBerry ID > login with your BlackBerry ID, after connection open BBM and see if your BBM contacts are available.

  Or if you have an old backup then connect your device and run BlackBerry Desktop Software > click Device > restore > you can select your list of BBM contacts from the list that you can restore your device.

  There is not a screensaver for blackberry option. You can set the image to the background of the home screen well. You can select a picture on your BlackBerry, press your menu button and choose set as home screen Image page.

  Here is an article that can help you with the missing BlackBerry App World icon. 'BlackBerry App World icon is missing after upgrade to BlackBerry App World 4.0.0.63 at 4.0.0.65' http://bbry.lv/SPblgT since you have already done some troubleshooting, I would recommend first trying resolution 1. Please let me know if that helps with the icon.

  Reloading your operating system on your phone will reinstall the SMS icon.

  Connect your phone to your PC via USB and open BlackBerry Desktop Software.  Once your phone has been recognized, click device at the top of the software, and then restore the menu drop down.  Choose the most recent restore point and proceed.  Once it is recharged, the icon of your SMS should be intact once more.

  I have a BlackBerry Curve 8330 (Sprint).  Can I send and receive the SMS/Text Messages or send/receive e-mails from Yahoo, Hotmail or Gmail accounts during a call?  To get an audio notification (beep), it seems to me when I get new SMS or Email during a call but I can't seem to send/receive when I'm on a call.  I can't browse the internet either.  He told me to end the voice call first.  Is there a way can I fix?

  Remove the battery while the device is activated, replace after one minute,

  Let the device reboot 1-3 min, retry the function that was the problem

  This will probably happen in the next update. When I updated my 8220 to the newest OS, this is what I got and I love this feature. Made my pictures much faster to navigate.
