BlackBerry Smartphones Intellisync error when syncing with Bold 9930 (issues of the Organizer)

I recently received the following error message Intellisync trying to sync my Bold 9930 with Outlook: "error occurred. Error code: 0x80043ac9. See the documentation.

Someone has any idea how to solve this problem? My Organizer phone and Outlook is more 'talk' between them, which is not a good thing.

I am on Verizon and I have 7.1 Bundle 457 loaded on my phone.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones "Cannot access local files" error when syncing with Outlook

I have an old BlackBerry Bold 9780 which works well. However, just yesterday, I started getting a "Cannot access local files" error when you try to use BB Desktop to synchronize with Microsoft Outlook 2016. I uninstalled and reinstalled the BlackBerry Desktop Software 7.1, but the problem persists. There is no error when using Outlook or other aspects of synchronization in BB Desktop.

I am running 64-bit Windows 10 on my desktop computer. I got no synchronization issues in the past until yesterday. To my knowledge, nothing has changed.

A Google search for the error message returns questions posted on several different forums, but there is no clear solution given.

The problem seems to be in Outlook, rather than with the BlackBerry Desktop, at least in my case. I solved it by repairing my Microsoft Office installation. For most versions of Office, this is accomplished by going to the list of programs installed in the Control Panel, highlight and right-click on the desktop and select the option to repair or change.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Intellisync error

I have a BB Bold 9650 and am using Outlook 2007.  I had no problem synchronization until yesterday when Archbishop Desktop 6.0.0.40 installed.  Now I get Intellisync error - unknown error reported.  If I can't get this working soon, I'll have to drop the new software.

Figured it out finally.  I am still running XP.  When I went to remove programs, I found both version 5.0 and 6.0 installed.  I removed 5.0 and had a synchronization.  I don't know how V6.0 installed yesterday I have to not demand.

  • BlackBerry smartphones anyone using VIP access with Paypal payment method in the world of BlackBerry?

I'm in trouble. I suspect either BlackBerry World does not support two-factor authentication, or I'm doing something wrong. If you use with Paypal VIP access into the world of BlackBerry and to do with success, please tell me how you do it.

    Background...

Today I received the error described at http://support.blackberry.com/kb/articleDetail?ArticleNumber=000036300

I had created Paypal in BlackBerry World before I had activated two-factor authentication in Paypal, but I made purchases since then without problem, until today.

I deleted Paypal but could not add it back.

I found this old thread which shows the BlackBerry World does not have authentication to two factors, but this is an old thread and maybe things have changed.

    http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/T5/downloaded-applications/problem-using-PayPal-in-app-world/TD-...

I tried with just: password right and I tried with password and code added at the end of the password.

    Follow-up...

    Finally, it worked.

Think about the possibility that BlackBerry World supports authentication two factor and that maybe I have do the procedure correctly, but maybe there is a temporary break in the system somewhere, I kept trying periodically.

Finally, it worked. Even after moments before getting the same error, it finally worked.

So, to confirm: If you configure paypal as method of payment in the world of BlackBerry, and you use two-factor authentication with paypal in conjunction with VIP access, enter your PayPal username and password and then add the authentication code on the end of your password.

Suggestions if you get an error saying message try again later: wait a minute. Look for the code update and use this code immediately. Do not use a code that is subject to maturity; wait for a charge code and use it immediately. If you still get an error message, try again several times, with a charge code every time. If you still get an error message, wait a few moments and try again.

    JacquieSamples,

Just to be sure your BlackBerry is not a test of policy COMPUTER looking in Options-> Security-> General settings and scroll down to see if there is anything that is listed next to the field name of the IT strategy, if you see something there default even you have a COMPUTER policy.

This article also shows how to reset a firewall prompt, you can have on your device:

  • BlackBerry Smartphones real time to sync with the calendar?

I'm relatively new to Blackberry, my Motorola Q would make a synchronization of calendar in real time with my Outlook calendar on my pc at home. When I added an appointment in the Q, the Outlook calendar could be updated shortly, is it possible to do it with the curve 8330? So I don't have to come all day from home and plug it in. Thank you

Hi and welcome to the forums,

Wireless calendar synchronization is available only for BES users at this point, so if you or your business to work with a Blackberry Enterprise / Professional Server, then you will have sync wireless real-time.

However, if you use the BIS service, you can only synchronize with Blackberry Desktop Manager with your PC.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Intellisync error 0x8004fceb

I get this error and cannot sync my calendar between my Blackberry 8900 Curve and Outlook on my PC.

The message says to check the documentation, but I can't find any reference to this error code. Can anyone help?

Here is the message itself, I get:

    Error encountered

    0x8004fceb

    See the documentation

Thanks in advance for your help

After you delete the Intellisync folder several times, without result, I ended up remove and reinstall the desktop software.

I installed version 4.6 instead of 4.7 [some posts says it was less prone to problem] I used to synchronize a couple of times and I've had no problems so far. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Thank you all for your suggestions!

  • BlackBerry smartphone Outlook 2003 Calendar Sync with 8330 stopped

Had the BB Curve for a week with 4.6 DM. Sync worked well, but just stopped. All I want to do is to be able to continue synchronization of calendar 2-way. I use Outlook 2003 on a PC with XP SP3.

    Here's the story...

After a night of automatic Windows Update, my phone was frozen in mode 'Windows Shutting Down' (automatic update reboots after completion). I got cold close, after which I received the error message Outlook "Outlook has not stopped correctly and needs to rebuild files" (something like that). No prob, that has happened before. Now when I try to sync the calendar (USB), DM through the whole process, but synchronization (No DM) stop at the moment of truth... "One moment, please."

After trying a lot of different synchronization setting, I tried a bunch of the KB articles... remove attachments of the calendar entries (don't have), cleared out all future Outlook calendar entries, change the MAPI profiles, remove the RIM files, find the PtTrace, reconfigure the iloptcfg file (I can't find a tiflog). I also tried a lot of things on this forum... nothing.

    Everyone... help?

When I plugged my BB to my PC, I got a message that a new version of DM is available.  It seems to go through the download OK but then when he tries to do the update I get the error message... and it cannot open database file.

I recommend dong a manual downlod and install update.

I would recommend Desktop Manager, version 5, Service Pack 1, without the Media Manager. Download Desktop Manager here:

  • BlackBerry Smartphones calendar won't sync with outlook

I had my blackberry for over a year and recently it stopped sync my BB with my outlook calendar. It synchronizes the address book, tasks and memos fine, but totally ignores the calendar. I've seen several suggestions here and tried but still doesn't work.

It says on the desktop software of BB that my BB is not a calendar installed but it does and it works fine on the device, he just won ' sync. There are 2 calendars on the Facebook feature (which, if I knew how I would delete) and my e-mail, but I address email is the default I think.

KB23978 should help you with the problem of "calendar is not installed.

Regarding the removal of the facebook calendar, just go into options > advanced > service books > find 'Facebook [CICAL]' and delete it

  • BlackBerry smartphones deleted calendar data syncing with Outlook

Can someone explain why data calendar are deleted after so many days, weeks, etc? It is to be deleted in outlook and my Blackberry. I checked the sync settings on my office softward and it doesn't seem to be something that I've selected which would remove the information. It is quite critical, because I keep my calendar paper copies.
