• BlackBerry Smartphones looking for backup file BlackBerry IPD Category Descriptions

  Hello world

  For the life of me. I can't seem to find the list of category descriptions listed in a *. IPD backup file.

  What I basically want to do, is to isolate the sound patterns (alerts) and * NOT * have the backup file wipe out the original default patterns that are loaded with a clean installation of the BlackBerry Device Software.  Also, that the list description would come very handy for future restorations!

  Hmmm... Category descriptions... I'm not quite positive which is... maybe it's databases? If so, here's a knockout that lists those:

  • KB03974 List of all databases on the BlackBerry smartphone

  I'm guessing that your tent a selective restore of certain databases rather than restore complete. What happens, however, is the replacement of the complete database indeed... regardless of the database that is located on the device is is replaced by what is in the IPD file. For some databases, there are tricks to merge the data that can be undertaken - for most messages, calendar, contacts and tasks... 'the organizer' standard databases, but I don't know the method to merge the databases of configuration (as well as alert profiles).

  2 BB Messenger - I know that I can customize the alert for BB Msg alerts but why not and if so HOW do I set it so that my contacts Msgr. BB that I put in place alerts personalized for them use an alert? IE;

  My daughter downloaded the ringtone - "I held her first" when she calls him again, he USED to play when she sent a txt, now that we have put in place Mgr of BB, I get the standard BB Msgr. alert instead. I get that for anyone. We have 5 in terms of our family and we all have a BB. We can customize the BB Msgr. alert so that we know we send the msg?

  In my research, I found my answer.

  I must have the Enterprise edition and or service and Outlook Exchange in order to have access to e-mail, I was looking for.

  OR

  Use Gmail and have everything available on this server or an IMAP account and go through the Web. It is not possible with the two above products. The BB is not designed to do what I thought it was.

  As for Question #2

  The BB Messenger those on my list of BB will connect to those contacts, that it will NOT however use the same personal ringtone that I set up for that specific messages. It is simply not possible.

  I know that you can create a group of contacts in the address book. Try and see if you can mass-SMS to that group.

  HI - select CLOCK and press the "Blackberry" button, choose the TIMER.  Press the "Blackberry" button again and choose 'set the timer.  A few quick shortcuts of your finger on the dial to the middle (minute) and you will have 30 minutes.  Press OK, and then restart. I hope this helps.

  I had an ENV as well and came to a curve last year! I love my curve!  I can talk, text, etc. - as jsanders said - while it is in charge! I have OS 4.5 and can view youtube.  One of my friends ha 4.3 and she can't.

You can see on my other thread of crisis, I have linked to the BB desktop software and I saw an update available for my OS, I clicked on apply and as this was happening, my connection failed. I kept getting the message that it wouldn't reconnect (aaaaaaarrrggghh!), and my camera ended with the message "error 561, reload software.» I posted a notice 'aid' here, but then the clouds parted and a miracle happened. I tried to reconnect, and the software reloaded. Hallelujah! I restored the backup I ran on the desktop software 3 days earlier, so I reinstalled my applications to my world and my Iconify links. so my download Panel is filled again. I would like, there was an easier way to solve this, but, oh, who cares? I got my BB!

• Looking for a way to test the keyboards with mini-DIN connectors 6-pin!

  My wife has an older Compaq Presario with 1.0 GB of RAM and a 200 GB hard drive.  I recently bought a HP with 4 GB of RAM and a hard drive 1.0 TB.  This is a sweet machine after you run the old PC for years! All my devices connect with USB Sockets. I have also my old Presario is almost double right at my wife, who is running XP with SP3 update.  We mainly use it for my magicjack phone I've used since 2008 and love! It still works great.  Our problem is that we have 3 keyboards with mini-DIN connectors 6 old pins that were standard until the entire passage to USB.  Not one of these keyboards is recognized by one of our PC. My wife's XP, but we have just upgraded to Windows 7 Professional for her.  What I want to know is if there is any test I can do also try another PC, because none of our PC recognize one of these keyboards who all worked in the past. Could we have somehow lost or damaged drivers for these keyboards? I was actually just an adapter I have that connects to the end of a usb connector, so it can be connected to the mini-DIN plug 6-pin on the PC.  When I do cela none of usb keyboards we have and which work fine work! So the problem must be some kind of internal problem as drivers, etc..  I'm just a rookie, so if someone can tell me how to proceed with troubleshooting and find a way to solve this problem we would greatly appreciate it!  Hate junk keyboards that work very well when there must be a way to solve this problem!  Thanks for any help!

• Looking for a way to kill the "Zombie" emails that can not be deleted

  For the second time in three months, I received an email from spam that cannot be deleted. It was emptied in the spam with SpamSieve, but once there, it cannot be deleted. The e-mail account is a POP acct and mail is downloaded from the server, so in theory should not reappear here.

  The email address is bogus, no one that I know of. The e-mail message contains no content, but it says there is an attachment via the paperclip icon. Open it, however, and there is nothing there (even though I knew it was zombie mail when it happened, as it's the second time it happens, the first missing itself after about a month, so he seems to have a predefined expiration date; what he does in the meantime, I don't know).

  

  I tried trashing it anyway, I know how. The answer is always that said piece of mail can not be deleted because there is no such thing as commitment. I've renamed even manually a .emix file in Mail to match. No SOAP.

  

  And now have gone to the library to the user, trashed the plist and which seem to be linked to this folder. The file seems to disappear, so I quit Mail. The next time I open the fake email returned by mail. And as the screenshot shows, one became two, although there is a list.

  I have rebuilt the mailboxes. The only thing I did is try to kill the thing through the Terminal (if such a thing is even possible).

  Given similar reports seem to turn up here (cannot move or delete messages of mail electronics defective.) for example, I must conclude that there is a kind of dreadfully boring invasive file which is done through the firewall and anti-spam filters, and for the life of me at this point, if I could find the sender , I bloody shoot the * myself.

  Any advice would be appreciated.

  Try right click on the junk mail folder, then choose delete junk e-mail messages.

  You said you tried to rebuild the mailbox. Have you tried to reindex messages?

  Exit the Mail. Navigate to your user library this path:

  ~/Library/Mail/v3/MailData/

  Move all the files starting with envelope Index or ExternalUpdates in the trash, but don't drain.

  Open Mail and let reindex all messages.

  If you tried and it doesn't work, go to this:

  ~/Library/containers/com. Apple.mail

  Exit the Mail. Move the folder integer com.apple.mail to the trash. Open Mail and test. You have to re-create your user settings.

• Looking for a way to remove the old models of securities on a Mac

  I'm on an iMac 2014 running CUDA, first Pro CC 2015.3 10.11.5,

  The title tool, when I go to the models, there is no listed under the user models or model designer title.

  But if I click on the Burger on the right, it displays a list of older models.

  Every so often, when I create a new title, it seems like one of these templates and I want to delete them.

  I can do it on Finder level?
