  Check your browser or WAP push messages.

  Messages folder > Options > folders, and then search for in your WAP push and push browser files.

  Read and erase the message.

• BlackBerry Smartphones new icon - what does that mean?

  A new icon has appeared under the time / date on my 9550 (Verizon): No. 5 next to a circle with a diagonal arrow, from the top right of the circle pointing downwards to the lower left of the circle.  There is a small red circle with a white X in it covering the place from the arrow.  I think that the red circle with the White x means an update is available, and I thought that the circle with the arrow means Blackberry App World, but there seems to be some updates for the app world, and it does not appear that any of my downloaded apps have any update available either so maybe I'm wrong.  I did a hard reboot, but it's still there.  Any ideas?

  The notice says you have an application that you previously downloaded or purchased in App World > My World, which is ready for an upgrade on your device. Look there for the upgrade.

  To clear the notification on the screen, find the alert message in your main folder, read or delete it.

  recently, I noticed a new icon/symbol on my screen when I have a call in progress. I have never seen this.  He appears in the upper right of the current call screen and looks like a rectangle with 5 points of diagnal inside the rectangle.  any ideas?  I tried to understand.  I'm stuck. Help!

  Looks like you have the opportunity to improve call lit. Check that, by going to your phone icon, click the menu button and go in the Options. From there, go to the General Options. See if you have the choice, called "enhance call Audio ' or ' enhance headset call Audio. If so, change the settings to normal.

• BlackBerry Smartphones new icon has appeared

  After 2 years with my 8330, this morning, I received a new message icon.  It shows a 'happy face' with the Red Star indicating that something is there and the figure '1', indicating that there is one of these things.  The problem is that I have no idea what that something is.  It doesn't seem to be an email, an SMS, or anything else I use.  And the manual is silent on this icon.  Any help?

  I'm new to the boards, so please bear with me as I just read and hoping to learn the * rules *! I have a curve BB8310 and this morning I had to have ATT restore it to factory after that something was wrong with the DeviceManager. To make a long story short, I'm all good now (i.e.. The right DM, I had the wrong version ) and I got my backup phone like I do every week. So I restored everything and first of all, I can't find my * note * icon anywhere and I use it all the time for lists and these, second I have this blue oval icon where I get notifications of text / email, which has something in it that looks like a snowflake! This icon could result to have my email and notifications of texts put to separate? Can someone tell me what it is and where I could find my Memo icon? I looked in every folder I have (or at least I think I have) as my stuff, settings, options, etc and he left with a whole list of things in it. I also only an icon that is hidden and it is ATT browser as I have Google maps instead. It's driving me crazy! Thanks everyonein advance

  On your BlackBerry, go to Options > status > press Menu > database sizes.

  Scroll to memos... What number is there (as 45/84 KB)?

  If there is nothing else that 0/0 KB, that means that the memos app on your devcie to keep looking... Is I have to be there.

  If 0, then back to the drawing board to charge memos... Make sure that operating system is loaded on your PC, open Desktop Manager > Loader application and memos is checked to install on your device.

  I just checked my phone and there is an icon at the top of the screen where any other view would be i.e. text, email, facebook, etc, but I have not seen this one before. It is a small black circle with an arrow pointing down and to the left, with a small red circle, which I think is the same when an email is unchecked. I went to the application Center and downloaded updates for google talk and number 4 is still there, as it was before the upgrade. I am running execution.151

  Reportedly, this icon is the icon of upgrade to BlackBerry App World.  This icon indicates essentially that there are updates for the applications that you have downloaded to your phone.  Try going into App World and My World.  I think you should see what needs to be updated there.

  Hi all.

  I have a 8330 that I finally get the shot after all these months.  Love the BB!  So, yesterday, I noticed a new kind of "notify" icon.  It's a world (looks like the browser icon) with a 1 next to it (to the left of it, actually).  I opened all the applications I have (including browser) trying to figure out - no luck.

  Anyone know what it is?  It's driving me crazy.

  Open your messages folder > press Menu > folders > and check your messages to Push browser and Wap push messages from the folders.

  Locate the message and delete it.

  I checked, e-mail, office, text, messages, etc and nothing seems left to open.

  I have Storm1 with OS v5.0.0.419. My problem is that a new message (message 1) icon in the home screen. I checked my Inbox, Inbox SMS and MMS. There are no new messages. It began yesterday, after I disabled all connections, for about 2 1/2 hours. When I turned on all the connections, it is there. Just below the indicator of charge of battery, a yellow envelope with a white/red star in the upper right corner. Even if new messages come, I remove these, 'that' new message icon is there. How can I get rid of him?

  Find a folder that says 'Push browser' or 'WAP Push' or maybe "browser Messages" - it may vary according to the level of the BONE. Find the unread message and open or remove it.

  Can someone help me with my BlackBerry smartphone! < br > < br > 4 days ago, I went into a store and joined promo called "Swap and Switch BlackBerry. I swapped my old BlackBerry to a new curve 9320/7.1.0.398 (B1319) basically, I live in the Philippines and my carrier is Globe telecom. And for some reason, my battery does not work to my expectation, I need to load 2 - 3 times a day even though I'm not a heavy user. I get 3 emails per day, no call, I have BBM, I receive text messages but I don't answer, I have facebook but not twitter, I play from time to time the music and SURFs the internet. but it goes too fast for me. It is the only small curve battery? < br > < br > I got all my settings tweaked, together the brightness up to 10%, 10seconds backlight time, battery-saving mode is ON, delete all my apps removed third-party social feeds also, my network is 2 g, removal of updates on my BBM, off GPS, past before bedside mode that I sleep and I always make sure that no other applications running in the background to name a few! Believe me, I did save all tricks I could stack, but nothing seems to work. < br > < br > I regularly check my CPU usage, but no application seems to run in the background, even did some research on how to properly load a Li-ion battery, but my battery drain is still at 11-12%/hr. What should I do?

  I updated my version of the OS, I'll give it a week and see if it improves my battery.

  I just noticed a new icon on my 8830.  When I make a call there are a 5 star little black/blue 'flag' on the upper right side of the screen near a blue speaker.  When I turn on the speakerphone option it disappears.  Also when I pair the phone with my bluetooth device as it goes.  What is it?
