BlackBerry Smartphones No internet on at & t

I recently changed my phone from a BB 8520 Curve to a BB 9630 Tour, my company is At & t. I unlocked my Verizon Tour and everything works well, is text, the text calls are good, but for some reason I have no browser, and if I use the installed Google quick search program, I get the following message :

Error launching browser. Make sure that your browser is working and that your device is on the cover.

I'm not sure how to solve this problem, since the curve has a wifi function.

I have the BB data service.

Yes, but.

You do not have the required Service books for the 9630 to use data, e-mail, internet, etc., on the 9630.

Read the initial post in this thread below for instructions to make it work on ATT. The instructions are for a 9530 but it's the same process.

  • BlackBerry smartphones no Internet connection

    Hello world

for a year (or maybe a little longer), I use a blackberry torch 9860. A few days ago, I updated the OS to 7.0 to 7.1.

Unfortunately, I can't use the Internet more. Normal text Message or call is not a problem.
I wasn't in the room all the time while the device has been updated and I don't really know what wasgoing evil.

I really tried everything to fix it, but I really don't know what I'll do to recover my Internet.

I hope someone can help me.

(I also hope that my English is correct, because I am of the Germany)

    Thanks for your help

    Hawkeye

I've seen this before. I would recommend downgrading to 7.0. This fixes usually it. I don't know why 7.1 does not work in some cases.

  • Settings MMS for blackBerry Smartphones and Internet for 9700

Can anyone help with MMS and Internet for Bold 9700 parameters on the network of Virgin Mobile Australia? I am able to browse internet through Opera mini using APN: VirginInternet but no luck with MMS? Solves them this problem or is it true that Virgin does not support Blackberry devices.

Hello and welcome to the community!

On BB, access to a range of services is enabled by the existence, on the device, the appropriate Service books. Service books are delivered to the appliance by the network of carriers... but, normally, only for these models of specific device that takes the network carriers supported and none support BB all models. If, as you think, your carrier supports no. BB models, then you can't expect their network to offer the Service books, which means that these services that require some SBs won't work, which includes MMS. But only they can answer the question of whether to their network supports the BBs at all and your specific model BB in particular number.

    Good luck!

If you got the recording message please try these two steps to see if this helps:

    1 send your Service book

    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service

2 - do a restart of battery like that pull while the device is powered on remove your battery wait for a min. then reinsert back.

    Try it and tell us.

  • BlackBerry smartphones not Internet

My wife and my phone have no internet? AT & T has found no problem on their end, that both are torch, whats up?

He could one of the many symptoms.  First, make sure you have a good data of BlackBerry (BIS) plan on your account with AT & T.  I suspect do you, however to confirm it with them.  We have to cover all the bases here.

Then, if they say that everything is in order, save your phone on the network by following these guidelines:

    http://www.BlackBerry.com/BTSC/KB00510

Once done, return the directories of service on your phone,

    http://www.BlackBerry.com/BTSC/KB15402

The next step is to remove the battery while your phone is on, then replace it.

If none of that works, call back AT & T and ask that either (a) escalate the problem to the RIM without cost to you, or (b) to exchange your phones for new.

    I hope that helps you.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BB8320 Internet problem with the upgrade to version 4.5

I installed the software for my bb8320 with wifi.  Everything seemed to be going well with the upgrade.  Now I try to use my wifi and connect to the wireless router is fine.  When I try to connect to the internet, it gives me a problem.  It said unable to connect to the internet...

I did have a problem with my wifi connection before the upgrade.  My bb does not plan for the data.

If anyone has this problem and know how to solve this problem, please help me.

    Thank you

You are trying to connect to one or more Web sites.

in the BB browser, enter in this

    What is going on?

  • BlackBerry Smartphones installation Internet email icon is missing from my 8310

Installation Internet E-mail is missing from my 8310

    I wouldn't need BIS right >?

~ ~ ~ my phone is a piece of shit and I had it replaced, I had to use an old backup of the Desktop Manager, and now I have 3 different e-mail accounts, send a habit, one old emails from March ' 09, and the other he's there looking stupid... so what I would do is remove my email (yahoo), then add it back, but in general the icon I want is missing

Please help, looks like phone support for RIM's day

Soory so seem to be a noob, but I've looked everywhere

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

BIS and the icon you're looking for are the same thing - BIS is the service offered by your operator, which allows driving between your email accounts (Yahoo, GMail, etc.) and your BB. The icon you're looking for is the interface to the level of the device to BIS. There are other interfaces as well, for example from a web browser for PC:

    http://www.BlackBerryFAQ.com/index.php/Where_can_I_log_into_my_BIS_account%3F

See this demo for device-specific information on access to the configuration application and configuring e-mail BIS:

    http://NA.BlackBerry.com/eng/support/blackberry101/Setup.jsp#tab_tab_email

Now, what you may also face lies in the fact that you have changed the devices... each BB has a unique PIN, that is bound BIS account to your carrier. If they don't move your old BB to the new, then this might explain things... you can contact your operator for assistance with your BIS account - they (no RIM) control this account and the service.

Hope that helps... give a little of this a try and let us know now.

Hello.  I just did one on my Blackberry 9700 upgrade air and now can not access the internet through the browser via 3G or Wifi.  Several applications of load on the Internet have also stopped working.

  • "BOLD" of blackBerry Smartphones connect internet not, BBM, email

    Hello forum!

This morning my Blackberry Bold 9000 worked very well, I've had into Web pages and had also received emails.  Something went wrong somewhere during the last four hours.

I first noticed I wasn't getting emails, and then when I went to try internet it wouldn't connect either. The error message for emails is 'impossible to contact service' and for the internet, it's just can not connect at all (most recently the small icon blackberry disappears an hour after a hard reset, then the internet says 'network coverage not sufficient to process your request. Please try again later. »)

I tried all (pull hard, return the service directories, check the routing table host, check to ensure that the data are enabled) and I was on the phone with AT & T and nothing works.  I was hoping that's a service issue at their end, but they tell me that doesn't seem to be the case.

Can anyone please help me or point me in the right direction?

http://www.BlackBerryForums.com/General-9000-series-discussion-bold/173229-bold-wont-connect-interne... -C' is exactly what I saw! would it be a hardware issue even if this morning the phone was fine?

Any advice would be much appreciated thank you!

I give it an hour or two and try EVERYTHING that once again... Powered ON the battery pull, service books, etc.

There is probably a local problem of ATT.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones using internet...

I gritted my teeth and settled for a Crve 8520. Happy with it so far, but it's so confusing.

There is something in my menu called POYNT, when I clicked on it, it says something on the RIM, and the site I'll take to is not an affilate of Blackberry and other things at random and asked if I trusted download, I had to accept conditions etc. So, I don't understand what all this is.

Question 2, I get the 500 MB of internet in my monthly allowance and wanted to ask you, if I'm connected to my home wifi netgear (which I'm now the icon is on, and the phone plays VODAPHONE-NETGEAR) does it say I'll be on the web using my wifi and NOT my pocket money?

My old phone seemed so easy LOL

    Hello

The POYNT icon is just a link to download the app called POYNT.  The icon is simply pushed to your phone by your service provider.  If you don't want to download it, you can simply hide the icon or create a folder called Junk and move it in there (as well as all other download icons that you don't want and can't remove), and then hide the entire folder.

As for your data allowance, as long as you're not constantly streaming video or audio on your BlackBerry, 500 MB should be more than enough data.  Your question, Yes, when your phone is connected to the router Netgear home, you need to be connected via wifi.  I say should because your phone must also show a white WiFi icon in the upper right of the screen.  If it is grayed out, then your phone is not fully connected to your WiFi and you will always use your Vodafone data allowance.

    I hope that helps!

  • BlackBerry smartphones separate internet courier mail

When we finished the enterprise activation process, we found that the only access I have to the mail of the BES is through my messages folder. How to set up a separate my BES mail folder?

    You have two choices.

You can pay $20 for a pure little utility called BES mailbox:

    http://www.getempower.com/Empower_BES_MailBox.php

    Demo OTA:

    http://www.getempower.com/MIndex.htm

OR, you can set up a saved search and assign it to a key combination [Alt].  I have [Alt] B (for BES) put in place to search for all messages from the service office.  I know that a lot of people hate Messages combines all the elements, but I like it.  I have my BlackBerry configured to allow NO dialing from the home screen so that I can use the Shortuct keys for all essential applications (Messages, address book, etc.) and have a saved search for each of the six Email addresses that I receive on my BlackBerry.

For more information on setting up a search registered, click here.

  • BlackBerry smartphones no Internet on Bold 9700

I just got advice on how to sort my stray icons which was very successful, now I suddenly have a problem with the internet. I read all the previous posts and solutions, but none seems to work for me. The status of the Service said: BB Internet Connect Service'n: Network Mobile, BB Ent. Connected server, No , everything else ok. Said diagnosis: BB Regis. Yes, the BB connect Yes, Ping ICMP echo Yes, BB PIN - PIN Yes, Radio Data Activ. Yes. The Mobile Data Services network, says 'ON '.

When I try to access something on the internet, I get the message "HTTP error 504-Gateway Timeout".

I did a battery pull and received a strange message 'Eception Exeption UUID must be 36 characters long' while the phone was the starter. Everything seemed ok, but there was still no internet. Can you help me to sort out this mess?

Well that's interesting... and you certainly then contact your provider. They may have (intentionally or not) staggered to a plan that includes the e-mail still disables browsing on the web. Or, there may be a problem with their network. In any case, only they can watch "behind the scenes" to investigate.

    Good luck!

  • Access blackBerry Smartphones to internet

  • BlackBerry smartphones my internet suddenly stopped working?

OK, well, it still works on some sites, but on most the websites when I go to them, a box appears that says:

    "HTTP 400 ERROR: bad request.

The server could not understand the page request, or was not able to process for some reason any. Please try loading a different page. »

I don't remember my phone doing so until quite recently.

I checked the Web site on my laptop to make sure that it is a good address, and it is. but for some reason, my blackberry won't go into it.

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

Whenever random strange behaviors creep, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

In addition, it could be that Web sites have been modified so that they are more well interact with the settings inside your BB browser.  You BB browser has many parameters which can interact better wth different websites. More importantly, I think that how your BB identifies a website seems to make the most difference - starting in the browser, press the BBKey, then select Options. In the "Browser Configuration" screen, there are several options that can be useful. "Browser Identification" option is that who I think made the more than difference more often - on mine, I can have my BB identify Web sites as a BB, IE or FF browser, producing different results in websites coded better for one or other of these browsers.

Try fiddling around with different settings to find the combination that best meets your needs. Sorry, but there is no 'best' recommendations for the right combination - everyone's needs are unique, requiring a single solution for them... and only they can find since only they need.

    Hope that helps!
