BlackBerry Smartphones not getting email on my blackberry

I've never had problems before receiving emails on my blackberry. However, all of a sudden this morning it won't work. I don't get everything even though I know that there are emails to download.

I have internet connection on the phone. I did a hard reset, remove the battery. I have synced upward with my computer.

What can I do else?

Thank you all!

Sue

Never mind. Just downloaded email, about 5 hours late!

Thanks anyway,

Sue

Hello and welcome to the community!

There is a current major outage... official information are available here:

From my experience, this affects BIS, BES and all services that depend on those (BBM, email, AppWorld, web browsing, application access to the data from the internet, etc.). Troubleshooting specific issues during this interruption may be unnecessary.

Once the fault clears, if things are not yet flowing for you, try the following steps:

    (1) registry HRT

    • Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > host Routing Table > (it matter little what line is current) > sign up now

    (2) Service reference books

    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you!

    See you soon!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones not get all my emails on Blackberry "BOLD"

2 questions that I would like to get help please:

I love my new "BOLD", but I get only a fraction of the main emails from my Outlook of the POP account hit my Blackberry. I use the same e-mail address but sometimes get a handful of emails on the "BOLD" and charges on my main PC.

Also, when I delete a message on the box to the letters and Pocket it rarely (maybe not at all) deletedsthe message on my main PC.

I had the Blackberry to avoid lugging my laptop all the time but does not not right again!

You don't have the right settings, and you need to remember that on a persona BIS account, your BlackBerry service will not reconcile message removes it from your computer to your BlackBerry. It is not designed for this function. It will reconcile your deletions FROM the e-mail server (that is not your desktop PC) to your BlackBerry, in some cases, depending on the type of e-mail (POP or IMAP) server you have.

For missed email does not come to your "BOLD", it is probably because you have to adjust a setting in your Outlook settings, I've detailed below.

IF you use Outlook to download your email on your desktop PC, Outlook is probably "remove" mail from your email server when it downloads on your PC.

There is a setting in Outlook to "Leave Messages on server".

    For MS Outlook 2003:
    1. Outlook > tools > e-mail accounts > view or change existing > next.
    2. Select the e-mail account > change > additional settings.
    3. Advanced tab > leave a copy of Messages on the server
    4. check this box.

    * You will need to make this change for each Outlook e-mail account, you have.

Other versions of Outlook have a similar setting, although it can be found in a slightly different place of the: Advanced settings.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not get email on my new blackberry

I feel a bit thick, but my new blackberry 9800 torch does not allow me to place the staff e-mail, works only mail, any help (I'm on the right plan >?) I also have unlimited internet so why am I being charged for the data?

There are two different types of data plans, usually a plan of Blackberry and another for normal phones, this is because the normal handsets using their network to connect to the internet wherever BlackBerry using their own connection. Your plan may be to a normal phone.

If you are sure it's the right plan, then go to Menu, Options, advanced system, peripheral, press your blackberry (with doors), then press register now. In a few minutes, you should receive a message from Blackberry, saying: you have been registered with the wireless network, this will bring the service (settings) on your phone books, and, after removing the battery, you will be offered to add a personal account. If you do not receive this message, your plan is probably incorrect.

    Hope this helps

  • BlackBerry Smartphones not get my email on Pearl 8130

I have used a BB for a 11/2 years and have had only a few problems, but all of a sudden I lost my email.  I tried to restart, sending service books and re registered.  When I send service books he tells me that they have been sent, but I never received it.  I can't think of anything to try.  All other functions seem to work well.

I went to my carrier and they had made me a clean wipe on my BB and reinstall the software.  Everything seems to work fine after reinstalling everything.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones not receive emails on my BB Gmail :(

Hello today I install both my Hotmail & Gmail on my BB Bold 9780 accounts. I received the confirmation emails "Activation on the server" in the two accounts on my BB so I assumed that everything has been done successfully. Fake! Hotmail works very well. I am able to send & receive the BB with no problems & receive emails in both my Inbox via hotmail.com & on my BB. However, the Gmail account, is another story. I am able to send using the my BB Gmail account & I get in my Inbox via gmail.com only! I sent emails at random my gmail.com Inbox just like a test & still only received in the Inbox via gmail.com & not on my BB. I don't know why were there to Gmail security changes that can cause this problem? Any help would be appreciated as my Gmail account is my main account for business related emails so I always need to be connected. Thank you.

    Hi Ms_SoSo

Please try this sequence and see if that helps.

1 - first record your PDA to your network.

    • You expect a registration messages in your Inbox messages.

    2 send your Service book

    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Wait until you receive the registration for each email message on your message box

    3. and then do a restart of battery like that pull while the device is powered on remove your battery wait for a min. then reinsert back

    Try it and tell us.

    Hello world

I have a Bold 9900, I've had just for a few weeks. Last night, out of nowhere, I noticed that a new BBM message was not sent. After trying to figure out what it was, I also noticed that nothing related to data Mobile was working at all. No email, instant messaging, the functions of the browser. I turned my data on and outside, connected and disconnected from Wi - Fi and used the host to register with the network Routing Table. None of this has worked.

I then used the diagnostic test to find out what the network functions did not exist, and that's what I got:

    Activation of radio data: Yes

Does anyone have answers for me? It is very debilitating not not to be able to use mobile data.

    Thank you very much

Hello and welcome to the community!

With a strong carrier network (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

    1) register HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    2) books of forwarding Service

    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    3) restart

    • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.
    • See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If this isn't the case, then you should contact your mobile provider for formal support.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones not receive emails sent to me, but can see emails I send and can send emails to others

For some time now, my blackberry was not the receipt of emails. My Inbox ' hide sent messages "disabled, and all I can see as far as I can scroll are I sent emails. I essentially bet on the customer web (I use gmail) for e-mail, but it reached a point where I really have to be able to email from my phone again.

    Here's what I can do:

Send emails to others of my phone

See the emails I sent from the web client on my phone as a message

    Here's what I can't do:

Receive emails on my phone. It's just a big shipping box.

It may be that my credentials are wrong because it still works as an Outbox. This is no more an Inbox. I checked that I have active mobile network. and I certainly have a clear enough signal. I can use the web browser to access web pages, and it should be noted that I used to be able to send and receive e-mails even when I didn't have enough signal/cover for the web browser.

    Also check

Options / Security Option / firewall is not active box (for the legacy of the OS 6 and 7)

    or

    Legacy OS<=>
Options / Security Option / Segurity Server (or something like that )

    Hello

You have little free memory left on your device. You should be at 20 MB, you roughlr 10 MB of free space.

You have a lot of third-party applications on your time BB, icall, bbalerts etc?

I don't know your level of experience, so if you know I'm sorry but if please read and let me

not know if this is the case.

Most people close the applications by pressing escape or the red button. This does not close the applications.

Each application has an option CLOSE. For example, if you are in the calendar, press the menu key (spotted) and scroll down to the bottom CLOSE is listed. Go through each application and then press close. Go to the menu press browser and options select cache operations clear all categories and reached escape it will say cleaning memory.

Go to options - security - garbage collection - enable. The BB will now clean up the memory when idle for 5 minutes.

you will have an icon on the screen to clean the memory of you make sure you press it. Make sure that you use the button CLOSE whenever you're done with an application.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones not receive emails after passage of the BB 8820 to BB "BOLD"

I just changed my 8820 to "BOLD" bosses.  Do you have the switch using the software via his computer and all the news switched to fine.  Take out SIM card the 8820 and placed in the "BOLD" and everything still seemed to work properly.  It's been about 12:30 and 15:50, she called to tell me that she had not yet received a new message of electronic mail on his "BOLD".  It takes awhile to kick service?  Was it something that I had to "turn on" to allow him to begin to receive emails?  She is just using an AOL account...
