BlackBerry Smartphones not receive emails sent to me, but can see emails I send and can send emails to others
For some time now, my blackberry was not the receipt of emails. My Inbox ' hide sent messages "disabled, and all I can see as far as I can scroll are I sent emails. From my experience, this affects BIS, BES and all services that depend on those (BBM, email, AppWorld, web browsing, application access to the data from the internet, etc.). Troubleshooting specific issues during this interruption may be unnecessary.
Once the fault clears, if things are not yet flowing for you, try the following steps:
(1) registry HRT
- Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > host Routing Table > (it matter little what line is current) > sign up now
(2) Service reference books
- KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
(3) restart to take batt
- Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

Hello today I install both my Hotmail & Gmail on my BB Bold 9780 accounts. I received the confirmation emails "Activation on the server" in the two accounts on my BB so I assumed that everything has been done successfully. Fake! Hotmail works very well. I am able to send & receive the BB with no problems & receive emails in both my Inbox via hotmail.com & on my BB. However, the Gmail account, is another story. I am able to send using the my BB Gmail account & I get in my Inbox via gmail.com only! I sent emails at random my gmail.com Inbox just like a test & still only received in the Inbox via gmail.com & not on my BB. I don't know why were there to Gmail security changes that can cause this problem? Any help would be appreciated as my Gmail account is my main account for business related emails so I always need to be connected. Thank you.

Most people close the applications by pressing escape or the red button. This does not close the applications.
Each application has an option CLOSE. For example, if you are in the calendar, press the menu key (spotted) and scroll down to the bottom CLOSE is listed. Go through each application and then press close. Go to the menu press browser and options select cache operations clear all categories and reached escape it will say cleaning memory.
Go to options - security - garbage collection - enable. The BB will now clean up the memory when idle for 5 minutes.
you will have an icon on the screen to clean the memory of you make sure you press it. Make sure that you use the button CLOSE whenever you're done with an application.

Me my first phone Blackberry a couple of weeks and have had no problem if he put in place and work, including three (Yahoo, GMail & Pipex) POP e-mail accounts.
However the last two days I have mixed results with the receipt of emails.
One day this week, I was wondering why the battery was doing so well (!) and realized that I had not received the emails. Soft reset and they started to come through and I got in the day then.
Today, I turn on the phone and two emails are received immediately, but no more have been received despite 6 or 7 in my Yahoo Inbox.
Data services is enabled and I have full 3G signal. I really don't want to do a restart hot every day to enable messaging! The advantage is that the battery is always 95% and its been over 4 hours!
Your help would be appreciated...

Somehow, it seems that the problem was occurring when I got my hotmail account set up to receive facebook notifications and my hotmail account configured to deliver messages to my "BOLD".
When I associated with my gmail acc facebook for what email setup for blackberry has been done already, it seems to work properly since.

Never had a problem up to and including this morning. All of a sudden, I'm not receiving emails about my "BOLD". Went to Blackberry link http://bis.na.blackberry.com/html?brand=mycingular and even deleted and added my email on my device addresses. Received a notification on "BOLD" I put in place email with BlackBerry etc. But no e-mails arrive through whatever it is. And he was working this morning and before. I can not even send emails from the "BOLD" all of a sudden. What happens, anyone can help. If I even add another existing e-mail account, the icon appears on my "BOLD" but still once, nothing comes thru. Thanks in advance.

1) register HRT

There are a few possible reasons... of what you say, it seems that you use hotmail WebMail interface from your computer (as opposed to Outlook or some other desktop e-mail application, which, if used might complicate things), these KBs may apply to your situation:

- KB15747 E-mail message delivery is delayed due to a Windows Live Hotmail account on the BlackBerry smartphone

I just got a replacement blackberry today for a defective battery. My tech guy helped me make a download wireless of my contacts our server etc. So far so good. Then collapsed emails. I see the red light and the number at the top indicating there is an unread email, but email is not on the blackberry. Similarly, when I send a message from my blackberry away from the receiver, but there is no trace on my blackberry of the sent message. The phone works very well and send SMS. I know that there is a button on the activation button. I tried to turn it back on without result.

If you find no trace of emails, go to options, advanced options, and click
The host Routing Tables. Highlight (do NOT click) select menu Save now.
Wait for the activation message. Go to configuration of e-mail and send service directories.
Make sure you get one for each e-mail account. Then:
No data will be lost when you do the following: remove the battery while the device is activated.
Remplacer replace after one minute, let the device reboot 1-3 min, see if the problem is corrected.
