BlackBerry Smartphones off data services - how will this affect my phone?

I recently bought my first Blackberry ever and I am now impressed and have a few questions through

I've had a look around and managed to find a lot of what I need these forums already, so I am very grateful to everyone who has already answered in other issues, as it helped me.

However, I have a question that remains unanswered.

I bought the phone without a data plan and I have looked around and saw that to navigate through the wifi I have to configure my browser for mode access point.

I can browse the mobile network, but as pay as you go and it's expensive, so I want to prevent that from happening. I've already hired a few fees according to my bill online trying to browse before wifi I found the access point mode.

I found the entry of data services. If I turn this off, my phone will still work as usual? (phone, receive texts and picture messages?) -If it prevents my phone to connect by mistake, it would be exactly what I need! However if it prevents that, I guess it's a useless option!

Cheers in advance for any help.

  • How will this affect my limit of 500 contract EULA to submit the forms?

I'll post the LiveCycle Forms on our Web site and users can then submit the web form and and receive it in my email box. If any changes need to be made, I will return and request a review. Finally, when it is finished, I send the finished shape to a ton of people in the Organization to use the form data and imput what they must use it. The form must be sent and present in the email for verification purposes.

Will this affect my agreement? The form gets usually filled maybe 25 times a month...

If you have configured the form so that it sends only the data of the form (FDF, XFDF, etc.), it is useless to readers - activate the form. Therefore, the returned 500 form limit does not apply, because it applies only to the forms enabled for the drive. A FDF or XFDF file can easily be imported using Acrobat in a blank form, causing it to be filled with data in FDF/XFDF data file. You can then view, print and archive the populated form.

To clarify a point mentioned this Bill, if you place a Reader-enabled document on a web server so that it is accessible by more than 500 users, you actually distributed the document to more than 500 users. Therefore, you are limited by the license of Acrobat using not more than 500 cases of the form enabled (including paper copies) which have been returned to you.

  • BlackBerry smartphones unavailable data Services & data of non-operational service

I have a sim card, but I blocked the internet and I only use WiFi to surf the internet through my phone. And recently, I bought a BB Curve 9300. However, whenever I try to go to BB app world via wifi he'll tell non-operational data and service everytime I try to log in to msn it will say not available data services. My question is, I need data plan to use both apps?

    Hello!

Indeed, Yes, this is a paid service.

You can check the activation of the BIS by seeing the "EDGE" symbol on your home screen of your device.

I hope that solves your problem!

If your problem has been resolved then would you be asked to click 'Like' and accept as a 'Solution' that other advisors invest it times on this Message more.

  • BlackBerry smartphones - what data services is free?

Hello, this is (if enabled) data services for free?

N ° but depnding on your carrier if they're on the promotion or free services for some time.

I got a tip, well, when I was still with Curve 8530 under Options-> manage the connection (don't know if I remember this right), choose Hotspot. This way you use hotspot wireless connections in the area as you are and not your carrier. However some carriers already will give you access to the data as part of your plan to feature (post paid).

What device do you use the most? I have the Bold 9900 now and this 'hotspot' I'm talking about is no part of my option - in fact I don't have - maybe because the newer versions are more concerned now to determine if 3 g or 4G (2G)

Sounds like policy. If this device is on a BES and controlled at least partially from your employer, you need to talk to your employer or your employer, IT people. If it is under your full control and of your device, then there is no problem in removing a COMPUTER policy.

  • Out-of-place of the upgrade to 11.2.0.4 (from 11.2.0.3); How will this affect certain elements?

    Hi all

I've never done an update of the fix for db set, and from what I've read today, I'll have to do a full install of 11.2.0.4 to have this patch set applied.

Sounds scary, and being a rookie DBA Oracle, whatever that means to my existing installation of the Oracle (Oracle 11 g 2 on Windows Server 2008R2) database?

If I do an upgrade out of place (recommended Oracle) and create a new home, what will happen to the existing/etc diagrams?

My request is configured to connect to SERVERA, SID = 123 so when I install a new home, etc., does it change anything? I have read that I need to change the files tnsnames in my new home is similar to my current tnsnames file...

Basically, I want to upgrade to the Group of hotfixes 11.2.0.4 b/c it is supposed to fix a bug that I have, but I want to be able to keep the 'settings' the same for end-users and applications (SERVERA, SID = 123).

    Thanks in advance

It must be remembered that basic data/binaries are separate from the database itself.  As a general rule, you first install the software (as you did for 11.2.0.3) and then create a database. Best practices of States that the location of the database files must be outside/different then the location of the binary files.

When you install your new 11.2.0.4 in a new place, it's all what you do - installation does not affect the existing database. Once the 11.2.0.4 software is installed, you can upgrade the database by following the steps described in upgrade guide (the stay of files of database where they are, but the database is updated from 11.2.0.3 to 11.2.0.4) and when the upgrade is completed successfully (11.2.0.3) old binaries can be uninstalled at leisure.

QuickTime was not an essential part of iTunes for some time. In most cases, it is unlikely to have contained or visit the web sites where QuickTime is really needed. It is not necessary for playback via Apple TV.

  • Wanting to buy photoshop lightroom addresses but will in the next few months how will this affect the license for its installed on a new laptop pc? and do I have to have 2 licenses for use on 2 computers?

    Hello

I am very interested in this special offer for photoshop and lightroom agreement. But in a few months will buy a laptop computer for easy use.

The PC will be used primarily for the storage of pictures, but I could use the lightroom on PC and laptop or would I need 2 licenses?

Thank you in advance for any help and sorry if this question is so stupid.

He's not stupid, but I guess that you are referring to a cloud offering. If so, if you had looked into the terms of use, you would have seen that you can install your software on two separate computers so he only used by a single person and activated with the same Adobe ID. So you can put on your current computer, and then install a copy on a new one when you get it.

  • Source directory will change - how will this affect my photos 'imported '?

    Greetings,

The studio where I work will rename the directory under which all of the photos that we brought in Lightroom are stored.

Changing the directory name will be essentially something like ranging from '123ProjectX' to '456ProjectX '.  Do not change the directory name is not an option.

Is there a way to make sure I don't lose not all references to the photos we use?  Maybe I'm worried without reason?

    Thanks for any help/advice!

When you open Lightroom there is a question mark on all of your images in the library module.  All you have to do is right-click on the folder above and choose "Update folder location" and point Lightroom to the new folder location.  Once you have done this it will be business as usual.  All your changes will be in place.

  • If we switch to Time Warner to AT & T, our e-mail addresses will change as well. How will this affect our use of Firefox? Will we have to register again?

We want to get rid of all that TimeWarner. AT & T will probably be our next stop.

If our e-mail addresses change, do we have to reregister with all things "Firefox"?

Should what changes we prepare to manage?

The Firefox web browser third name as it was Firebird and Phoenix before) just makes use of the connection that you have. You do not save anything with Firefox.

However if you used a TimeWarner with sites like forums or sites subscriptions and as sort of thing, then you want to maybe change the email used with them as you may not access email TimeWarner either through webmail or an email client after change you it.

  • Big against little endian - how will this affect my Performance of read/write PDM

    Hello

I read that LABVIEW intrinsically stores data in big endian format, but the read/write of the VIs DDHN have the little-endian as a default. Simply, you wonder what is recommended for these screws TDMS and if these options affect writing / reading performance somehow?

    Hello

The endian of data does not affect the performance of the read/write of the DDHN screw the primacy of the format is just down to personal preference when working low level with data.

If you do not read or write the bits in a personalized way, then I would recommend leaving the endian as it is by default when reading or writing. Otherwise, use any kind you like or prefer to go through.

you get a new product key for Windows 8, if something goes wrong and you need to go back to windows 7, as long as you have the product key for windows 7, you should be fine.

If can not install windows 8 it will return you to Windows 7 with the windows product key 7
