BlackBerry smartphones only 'a few' calendar items to synchronize?

I use Outlook 2007 Tour 9630 and a Desktop Manager 5.0.1.28

I have configured bidirectional synchronization with Outlook by Mgr Desktop calendar, I checked that all the advanced settings are also correct and out of the way:

No filters are defined

Conflict resolution says "add all conflicting appointments.

Synchronization is bidirectional

No confirmation is required for any additions, deletions or changes

While my Outlook appointment are properly transferred to my BB, go directly to the BB will not transfer to my Outlook calendar.

Can someone please give me some ideas?

Thank you!!

Your welcome for the answer!  Cpt_Sweatpants is one of my favorite TV shows

For example, your default services are empty?  Sounding like the BlackBerry software must be reinstalled.  I would suggest trying a first battery pull well.  In the meantime, we can clear your calendar from your BlackBerry using a few different methods:

1. go to menu press calendar button and click Options, and then type rset.  This should give you a prompt indicating that it will clear your calendar.

2. from inside the BlackBerry Desktop Manager, go to the backup and restore, choose Advanced.  In the device databases, select Calendar, and then click clear at the bottom of the screen.

3 perform a synchronization one-way since the BlackBerry Desktop Manager for BlackBerry by selecting the option to replace all data in the target application.

Let me know if it works for you!

    Dear friend,

Thank you very much!  I had spent a lot of time on this one and I really appreciate your help.  Once I discovered that Research in Motion has no support in person after the failure of online research, I called the Verizon store.  He told me that I have to buy a new software package in order to save my previous calendar data, and then he suggested that I have post my question on the forum.  I'm so happy I did.  Thanks again.

  • BlackBerry smartphones want to delete calendar and start again

I have a Pearl 8130 with Bell Mobility.  I sync using google sync for google calendar.  I have a Mac at home and do not use desktop manager or any other software to manage my BB.  I do it all right on your handheld.  I recently started major problems with duplicate entries.  Despite trying to get help with duplicate entries, nothing worked and I want to just wipe the calendar and start over.  I don't have FB loaded on the phone but the cical and the cmime are both set to my main gmail account.

Can someone tell me please how to clear the calendar since I don't have Desktop Manager?  Or maybe a solution that works with my Mac?

    Warmly,.

I found the answer.  Instructions are here http://www.yale.edu/its/mobile-technology/blackberry/remove-calendar-items.html.  The only thing that not removed from my calendar using this method was since then the recurring events I had with no end date.  Everything else has gone.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones only restore BBM contacts - how?

    Hello

How can I restore ONLY my BBM contacts using the desktop software?  I looked through the choice of data but none like the right. I have a Torch 9800 and I use the latest office software. (6.0 bundle 1907)

I use my BB especially for work it is setup with connection of mail company so last week when I had problems they have wiped my BB and now my email and business contacts sync works well again but I lost all my BBM contacts.

In the restore office option, I use the "select parameters and device data" to select data to restore, but I cannot easily determine what type of data I should be restore so I didn't wipe my e-mail contacts existing or other parameters. Given that I had about 60 BBM contacts fields that show a counter that is close (and therefore looks promising) to the correct quantity are: Messages, folders, store of Trusted keys, stored key pocket, and recent contacts.

Any help or thoughts are appreciated.

No, you're not... the latest version is 6.1.0 Bundle 34...

See this KB for a list of all databases on the BB:

    • KB03974 List of all databases on the BlackBerry smartphone

The appropriate injector is there. It's a shame you didn't otherwise save your BBM contacts... BBM itself offers the possibility to make a backup of contacts... I've always found that more useful than the ability to backup/restore of desktop software.

  • "BOLD" of blackBerry Smartphones crashes when BB calendar with Outlook calendar synchronization

I was wondering if anyone has encountered this problem:

I receive by email from meeting requests in my BB email-> accept the meeting request so that it is added to my BB calendar-> I sync it with my MS Outlook 2007 calendar using the Desktop Manager 4.7 version = a crash.

I went to the configuration of synchronization in DM v4.7 and having my calendar configuration currently for 2-way sync-> for only future point of transfer and erase all previous calendar items.  It still crashes.

Please help if you have a solution or input to it.

Please check if you have all the attachments in calendar entries

  • BlackBerry Smartphones only "hotspot browser".

I've updated my facebook application to the latest version, but just after that the update of it... i cannot connect to facebook or any other internet-based application. My bbm has stopped working and I could no longer emails. I went to the options of the browser and discovered that I could only go on the internet via a hotspot "browser"... There is no other choice. I tried the battery pull or HRT "sign up now" option but nothing happens. ".  I had my SIM card and inserted into my wife BB and everything works fine.

I don't know what to do next... Please help

Hello and welcome to the community!

I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network

    (2) remove and return Service directories

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If this isn't the case, then you should contact your provider of wireless services for formal support.

  • BlackBerry smartphones lost data from calendar

I downloaded an update on my BlackBerry over the weekend. At the end of the download, I got a message in my calendar events were not loaded. Omigod. My calendar is empty. Does anyone have an idea where things went? Are they saved somewhere in my Blackberry or on the hard drive of my laptop? Birthdays, meetings, history of calendar are all gone. This is the nightmare that we fear. Thank you.

    Thank you!!

First - you set up Google Sync apps on your device?

    http://www.Google.com/mobile/sync/

In addition, in case you need:

  • BlackBerry Smartphones changes to the calendar after update

I recently did the software update proposed in consequence of which I had to re - install Facebook. Since then, I found that when I go to enter a new appointment, there are some new top that says send to help: and I choose Facebook, home, or office (the 2 is what I call my email accounts)

I don't want this option here, especially since the default value is Facebook (he seems to be in alphabetical order)

Is it possible to get rid of this option or at least change it so I can choose my own default?

    Hello

The BlackBerry smartphone has the ability to maintain multiple calendars. You can select your timetable and services default e-mail to the title of the default Services Options-Advanced Options.

Send using option is there Design and cannot be deleted because it specifies which calendar you want to use for your appointment you will enter in.

    Thank you

  • Desktop of blackBerry Smartphones and software Contacts Calendar?

    Hi all

I just changed to a Treo 680 for the Blackberry Bold.

First situation: Palm had office who had a calendar, contacts, media, etc all on the desktop that was attached to the phone.  Just put the phone in the dirty and hot-sync to update the computer or the phone...

Now, the Blackberry Desktop doesn't have an option of calendar or contacts.  Obviously, the phone itself has a calendar and contacts.

Question: Is there a download I can buy for a calendar / contacts application?

That's all I need essentially.  I don't have Outlook, but I tried the evaluation version of Outlook 2007 and had some problems of setting up e-mail account (which I don't need; I have AOL e-mail on the "BOLD" and that works very well).

Just need a calendar and contacts that I have on my computer that will link directly to "BOLD" when I placed the "BOLD" in the cradle?

    Any suggestions?

    Appreciate all help.

    Thank you.

No, you don't need to buy anything. If you cannot synchronize the 2 devices with the Desktop Manager, you have another way to do it.

Export all contacts, memos, etc to palm desktop for Outlook. and after that syncs with the Blackberry.

Believe me is more simple synchronization Blackberry that synchronize the Palm.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones POST UPDATE PROBLEM: calendar data saved in the file "pi". WTF? Help!

Hi people.  Upgrading wireless was excrutiatingly long. I cancelled it and the update via the Fund Manager was less than 9 minutes.  However... None of my calendar items were restored.  The system says that they were saved in a "PI" file in my documents.

    How to restore these data?

Connect your phone to the PC, open DM and go to backup/restore then restore and navigate to the My Documents folder and find the file named .ipd LoaderBackup-(2009-05-31), must then restore your data, but I do not know if your third-party applications will be restored.

  • Database of blackBerry Smartphones the address book not available for synchronization

... "For help to resolve this problem, refer to KB19454 in the Knowledge Base of Blackberry Desktop Manager".

I did, and it says this:

Cause 1: the BlackBerry smartphone does not contain the PIM application you are trying to synchronize with. For example, the screenshot above error has occurred as a result of the application of tasks is not installed on the BlackBerry smartphone.

Then, of course the BlackBerry has the address book app installed, and if it wasn't the cause.  I followed some of the sons of other related expenses and came up with nothing.

I synced before - first time that successfully, this worked great, the second time that he kept failing, so I changed the setting to REPLACE my address book on the BlackBerry each sync, who has worked several times, and now this.

    GRRRR... of ideas?

Worked like a champ, with the only exception to the process.  When I looked at my address book to the end, he had more than one entry for each record.  So I went back to the process, but this time, before you reconnect and resynchronize, I deleted manually additional entries - for some reason, they were still there, even though I "erased" address book information!  I'm guessing that these entries were originally a part of the problem.  Anyway, once deleted I've reconnected, resynced ' by replacing ' content of the BB for the address book - and now I have great 2-way synchronization job. "  Thank you!

  • BlackBerry smartphones duplicate appointments and calendar synchronization problems

I use Outlook 2003 and the Blackberry Curve with v4.2.2.180 software.  I don't use Enterprise Server.

When I sync my BB with Outlook, he began to do some weird things.  First of all, he wants to delete my Outlook items.  Second, he changed the title of a recurring appointment for no apparent reason.  I have to fix things, tried to set the configuration so it records only deletes or moves on the BB and set the configuration in advance so that conflicts are always resolved in favor of Outlook, but when I synch, he wants to still remove 22 items in my Outlook calendar and add one bunch of others.

How can I get to sync properly?

Do I have to clear the calendar on the BB and then start Outlook?  How do I do that?

    Thank you

    > Do I have to clear the calendar on the BB and then start Outlook?  How do I do that?

TODO, you want to use the Desktop Manager

    Backup/restore

    Advanced

    Click on calendar on ERS.

Under the screen of the RHS, click clear.

Now, do a synchronization, and you will receive the calendar on the BB Outlook.
