  Hi all.

  I have a 8330 that I finally get the shot after all these months.  Love the BB!  So, yesterday, I noticed a new kind of "notify" icon.  It's a world (looks like the browser icon) with a 1 next to it (to the left of it, actually).  I opened all the applications I have (including browser) trying to figure out - no luck.

  Anyone know what it is?  It's driving me crazy.

  Open your messages folder > press Menu > folders > and check your messages to Push browser and Wap push messages from the folders.

  On your home screen to Options > device > application > locate and remove BlackBerry World from there. After deleting to do a battery pull reboot as this device on remove the battery wait a min. then reinsert back.

  After rebooting your BlackBerry browser browse www.blackberry.com/appworld to download the recent version of BlackBerry World.

  Hello world! I got my BlackBerry Torch 9800 on 6 September. On 8 September, I tried to synchronize media files and it was not work. I opened the back cover and there is no MicroSD card. I return to the TELUS store on 16 September and they give me the microSD card. I put it in my cell phone. When I go into Options - devices - storage, the "enable compression" and "media card" are controlled. I see the applications-free space 286,5 MB storage, integrated Total media storage and 3.5 GB of free space and storage card Media-Total and free 7.3 GB. I have also format and fix them both. I try to remove/replace my Media Cardin, to remove/replace my cell phone battery, there is nothing to do. Whatever I do, I can not open E:: / / or F: / / readers (I have new for formatting, I try and it does not work) and I can't synchronize the folder and multimedia files. I see a time "the memory of the device and the media are unavailable because the mass storage is in use". I use the v6.0.0.448 version.

  It is correct. I have rename E: / / and F: / / and it's work.

  I received a notification of Blackberry Protect to enter my ID password for identification number of mi ([email protected]). I forgot the password to ID both the unswer. • BlackBerry & Smartphones Photos Contact names ceased to show (9650)

  Hello:

  Earlier, I added photos contact to all my BBerry Contacts.  It worked perfectly for quite a while.

  But the last 2 weeks (or more), when I get a call I get no resources and no contact photo.  Just the number, which, if I don't recognize, I'm going to ignore.

  (The reason why I have the names and photos is so I don't have to memorize numbers.  )

  The contact photos are always in my contacts list, so nothing happened to them.  And ss as much as I know I haven't added new applications.  So I'm puzzled as to why they would suddenly stop showing when I get a call.

  Anyone know how I can make them work properly?

  I would recommend to check if you have encryption enabled on the BlackBerry smartphone or press card. Go to the Options-Security Options. If it is enabled, disable it and try again then take out the battery.

  I have been using everything ok through POP3 email on my blackberry for the last six months and then all of a sudden yesterday asked me to check the password that I tried to do it but the only message I get, is that my user name or password is invalid.  This is not the case, as I am with the same username and password on outlook and my Ipad and these work perfectly. Can anyone help?

  We had a problem with our email on Wednesday, it is now sorted and the passwords have not been changed.

  I tried the hard reset, tried to set up online service, free books works and still will not accept the good user name and the password.  It's driving me crazy!

  Hello and welcome to the community!

  With a strong carrier network (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

  1) register HRT

  • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
  • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

  2) Remove and return Service books

  • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
  • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
  • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
  • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

  3) restart

  • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.
  • See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should try remove and re-add your configurations for the relevant accounts. Otherwise, you should contact your mobile provider for formal support.

  My Blackberry Torch was stolen recently.  Now that I got my new camera and everything seemed to work OK.  I received emails addressed to it and who is "pushed".  I tried to download an app and had my Blackberry ID need I entered.  She would not accept my new password - so I asked to reset - but the email they were supposed to be sent to my blackberry address did not!  Does anyone have ideas, what can I do now?

  Oh okay Ouch, the using the blackberry.net email account is not good. These emails cannot be found or read any where, but on the BlackBerry smartphone.

  Personally, I never recommend using blackberry.net for this main reason e-mail accounts.

  My best suggestion is to get a gmail or yahoo account for free and create a whole new BlackberryID.

  Then, call your mobile operator Orange and ask them to bring this problem to RIM level two level tech support and get your old account merged or moved to the new BlackBerryID.

  Yes, it's complicated. But it's the only way I see possible... all this because of the password reset. Yuck, indeed.

  When I go to Blackberry.com on my "BOLD" there is a link that says "sync your music iTunes office with your blackberry smartphone: find out how.

  When I get the link to download on my PC for the media sync... It does not seem to do anything.

  Anyone who has tried this and got positive results?

  When you try to take a video, the camera starts, but when you try and register it gives MSG: error unexpected, impossible to record the video.

  Open your video camera and without press registration, press the Menu key > Options and scroll to the bottom, which is the default place to record your videos? It should be your press card.

  So, my question is, is your card support works well and you can access it ok?

  You can try another reboot once more?

  Perform a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most defects and errors of operating system, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.
