  Hey, I need help with ym Blackberry Curve 9300

  I tried to download the new update to 6OS but it won't work, I downloaded the latest version of Blackberry Desktop software but every time I try and update my phone it just comes up with "a updated Blackberry Desktop software component must be installed to continue" but then when I click on 'install' it happens to not even 1/10th of a full bar and it's freezing I left it on all night and it still did not move 1 cm, someone please help as I really want to download the new software but ive been trying for days to do and it still does not work

  2. go in c:\program files Research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml."
  3. plug in the BB and double-click on "Loader.exe." It is located in the same place as the above vendor.xml file.

  I have a strange problem with my Blackberry "BOLD" 4 9900, sometimes when I receive or make a call, the phone is connected and I don't get 2 hear the person at the other end, and vice versa, the only solution for this is hard reboot the phone that is like taking the battery and have it pop back in and then things works very well and it's soething that happens daily is there a way to diferrent without restarting the phone and why it happens instead of 1 m, also I got the replacement of the device like the previous, it was cut and after investigation of blackberry, they gave me a new device. The version of the OS in the mine is 7.1.0.746 (2108), I was invited by the service 7.1 bundle downgrade and backup center 1646, which I am not ready to do what it takes forever and I have to reinstall all the software back and set up e-mail.   Also the latest BBM version which is 7.0.1.23 is installed, my phone that has WiFi but unlike previous versions where they had a backup and restore under backup management option that is no longer there, there at - it a way to get that back, I had uninstalled and reinstalled BBM but still does not work and the desktop software is not save BBM groups or pins?

  Hi, I have used a Bold 9870 for a few months now. I've been saving my camera on my computer periodically. Unfortunately, it has been exposed to water the weekend and unresponsive. I transferred my acct (by Sasktel) to the Blackberry curve of my son he no longer uses. (I'm drying my "BOLD" in a bag of rice and I hope that it will work again in the coming days?!).

  My question is did anyone know how I can get all my information backups "BOLD" (contacts, emails, texts, bbm surveys) and get only their transferred on the curve that I currently use. I feel completely lost without it!

  Hi all. Just got my first BB and love it. I have the 9100 pearl and have a question.

  I took my SIM card from my old phone (sony w910i) and installed in my BB. In configuration mode he asked me to transfer the contacts that I made, but it gave me one number per contact as home number. I recorded them all in my outlook contacts with all the information, including emails. Is it possible to transfer all this and get my contact list done correctly or I have to manually go in and change all of them?

  Also is there a way I can use the computer to enter my information into the BB instead of the small keyboard?

  You want to download and install the Office BlackBerry (DM) Manager from here.

  You can then configure DM to synchronize your Outlook contacts on your device.  This link will help guide you through the configuration process.

  The error that you are experiencing with your address book indicates a problem with the software and it is advisable that reinstalling the software to correct this situation.

  Back up your data by using the Desktop software then follow KB11320 to reinstall the operating system (or KB19915 if you use a Mac).

  Before restoring any data when reloading the software is complete, you can access your address book to make sure that the error no longer appears and see if you are able to access BBM and App World.

  Please note that if you use BBM 7, you must use the same ID BlackBerry to restore your contacts. Ensure that you are able to access your BBID to www.blackberry.com/blackberryid

  Real power Chargers you use are the key... look over them and see what is printed on the voltage/amperage/etc. that they can deal with. Compare that to what will be where you will be. If they can manage the power supply where you are, then you will only need an adapter pin and not a real transformer.

  In general, the BB devices can be used anywhere in the world with the delivery... loading devices simply to adapt the pins to the area that you are in. As a reference, I used BB devices (although get in the USA) in many many countries, including United Kingdom. But you actually have to look at your exact Chargers to be sure.

  Which will allow you to use your BB as a pair of USB drives, and you can then just move the files as you would any other file via windows Explorer.

  If you got your Blackberry wiped, then you have 507 error when starting again, simply connect your Blackberry to the BB Desktop Manager and reload the OS
