BlackBerry Smartphones POP account

When I send an email via Gmail on my BB, I get a copy of the message sent in my Inbox on my BB as a new message.  What can be done to avoid this?

Hi and welcome to the forums!

It is a very easy solution, just create a filter.

Gmail uses the traditional and boxes.

Instead, they use conversations.

Thank you

You should be able to access your customer BIS page by going to the following Web site (substitute the name of your actual carrier CARRIER)

    http://carrier.BlackBerry.com

    http://TELUS.BlackBerry.com

You will need to create an account using your device PIN and IMEI.

  • E-mail blackBerry Smartphone Accessing account telephone e-mail settings and BBerry

My problem is with my Blackberry Torch 9810 e-mail accounts. I have two accounts and it doesn't seem to work. I tried to access my accounts but now get a login to the screen of Bberry with [Personal Information deleted] ID and ask for password. I never have that in place. When I use the 'forgotten password' button, I get a message that reset instructions were sent to [Personal Information deleted] I have no idea how to do to access this account. Can you help me?

If BB ID is, as you say, new for you, then someone has configured this device with a BBID, and you can or don't want that. BBID is used to help to be sort of a "single sign on" to many things... BIS configuration, BBM, BB Protect email, etc. If you have not created this ID from BB, while you should really do is delete and create a new brand for yourself, that you store the credentials for, as you will need it from time to time (as you do now).

To remove the unit BBID and then create one for you, you must WIPE totally clean unit... This will make the device as it was brand new, so all the data and the applications that you have installed will be gone.

Make sure that you have good backup of everything, as you need it - you can find the backup instructions in the auto-sig on this post.

But, if there is a chance that this BB ID is indeed something you created, but simply forgot, then you can try to get back into it. To do this, start first with them please:

    • KB28685 How to reset the BlackBerry ID password by using the password recovery question
    • KB32111 "The link is no longer valid." occurs when you attempt to reset a BlackBerry ID password
    • KB26361 How to change or reset the BlackBerry ID password
    • KB28111 Impossible to reset the BlackBerry ID password when using a hosted BlackBerry email address
    • KB28232 Reset blackBerry ID e-mail are not delivered to the mailbox associated with

If you have forgotten your ID BB credentials AND access non - BB (for example, Outlook, webmail, etc.) for the e-mail account which is currently configured on your account ID from BB, then these instructions should help you regain access to your account ID from BB, even without the issue of recovery or password (Please read them all carefully to find the section you depend on).

However, if you do not have access to this e-mail account, or if you have never successfully validated your BBID account, then your challenge is much larger, and you have a choice to make depending on your situation:

    1. If you have no AppWorld records you need to keep (for example, buy folders for the applications), then simply drop the BB ID and create a new. To do so, however, requires a device WIPE:

      • KB26694 How to change the BlackBerry ID on a BlackBerry smartphone or BlackBerry PlayBook Tablet
    2. But, if you do not have AppWorld documents that you need to keep, then you need human intervention. To receive, you must ring to the top of your mobile service provider and convince them to escalate your case up to BlackBerry. In addition, you must convince BlackBerry you with a solution - which probably will be reset your current BB ID so that you can access it again or you will need to create a new BBID and they will manually move your purchase to the wire records. Note that I don't know if they will be willing to do, but there is no other way I know of to keep your prior AppWorld purchase records.

    Good luck!

  • Behavior of blackBerry Smartphones POP email

I recently had my 8900 replaced under warranty, and the new, it behaves differently when I access my email pop accounts

With the previous phone, messages remained on the Blackberry, no matter what I did with the e-mail account on the computer. Now, when I delete a message on the computer, or even open the message to read it, the message is deleted from the Blackberry. This happens with a POP account classic (via my ISP account) as well as Yahoo mail.

Is there a setting to stop what is happening? I want to manage old messages on the Blackberry myself, do not have the e-mail client do. It is often useful to refer to old messages when I'm on the road.

I checked the BIS site. I had to restore all accounts when I got the replacement phone. In all cases, the box "Sync deleted items" was checked. I've now unticked it and wait to see if that was the problem.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BIS account suspended or disabled

    Hiya,

I recently bought a "BOLD" 9700 Sim nine against a reputable retailer and not a carrier. Since my rate existing with O2 UK through Carphone warehouse did not have a blackberry service, I called them up to add the service. I was advised to record my PIN on O2email.co.uk, and I did. A few hours later I tried to use internet on my bold 9700 and it worked even though I wasn't too sure if BB service was conducted at that time. later that day it stopped working and since I was not able to use BB services. I called CPW and they said blackberry has been active out there. I've rechecked by trying to connect to O2email.co.uk and I threw with this msg "Your BlackBerry® Internet Service account is suspended or disabled." Please contact O2 UK". I told them but they keep saying to restart and I have done a million times. This is really frustrating as I'm unable to check my e-mail or use the services bb online. It's a new phone and I registered it successfully for the BIS online. I don't understand the reason why my account has been disabled. Please help me... ?

    Thank you

    Hello!

I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come):

    (1) registry HRT

    • Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > host Routing Table > (it matter little what line is current) > sign up now

    (2) Service reference books

    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If this isn't the case, then you should communicate with your carrier.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones POP stopped receiving Email

One of my POP accounts mysteriously ceased to receive emails today.  This has happened before and I just deleted the account and returned it.  Tonight, however, it does not.  Any method that I use to create a new email account of the results in case of failure of the software to connect to the mail server.  Tried methods:

    -Email Setup in phone

    -Using the "automatic configuration".

    -Enter everything manually

-Setup email on the site Web of BIS

    -Automatic installation

    -Configuration manual

    -Import the Outlook settings

I tried all the options without success.  I even had the e-mail advising me of the failure.  What can I do to fix this?  This is my work email, so it is a bit important!

OK... I just tried Setup again on the site of the BIS Sprint and mysteriously, it worked.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones email accounts disappear and cannot log in settings

for the second time now, my email accounts are gone... very annoying, but this time I can't even return in the parameters, he claims, there are no accounts, but when you enter the menu to add new accounts must connect to my hotmail account, who then won't work, saying "cannot continue this session."

    Hey, a few questions.

On-screen connection management > Services status on the line of BlackBerry Internet service: what is the status?

On the home screen, upper right corner, which is the signal indicator here?

You can try this, to change the method of logging into your BIS account?

Article ID: KB14378 How to change the connection mode for a BlackBerry Internet Service account

Now, if this does not work and that you can not create a BIS connection, you must call cable & Wireless and ask them to push you the books of service for your device.

You must ask them to ensure that you have the BlackBerry data Plan on your mobile account, and that your IMEI/PIN are on your account for this device.

IF still nothing, you should ask them to bring this problem to a support technique level RIM.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones POP/SMTP

    Hello

I use the company e-mail pop account

When I set up the email POP account, he turned to the IMAP setting.

Is there a way I can set up for the email POP account?

    Thank you

    Hello

For POP and IMAP - BIS 'feel' it that the mail server will direct you to the uses and use the Protocol 'best', prefer IMAP POP if both exist on the same mail server. The only way to force BIS to use against one another is to have servers separate e-mail, each running only a single Protocol (or, as GMail does, turning on or off for each protocol as an account to account).

To leave messages on the server-, BIS has no parameter either. When BIS retrieves e-mail and pushed back them to the BB, it is always left on the server forever. Only if you have configured a messaging service compatible for reconciliation the 2 tracks deleted items you would have the ability, of the BB, remove emails from the server.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphone email account validation problems

I use my BB Bold 9780 for the past 2 years and it has fortunately been send and receive emails for 2 accounts (my work and my personal one, outlook.com).

3 days ago the phone suddenly stopped to access my mailbox outlook.com and threw a message 'emails are not delivered to your device that resume services validate your password'. I went into the Setup program, entered my password and just got the error message "your device has encountered a problem with the application server. I repeated several times and received the same message. I was at my outlook.com account via my PC and tried to turn on and off the POP - not be joy. My work account still works fine.

I also tried to remove the outlook.com account so I can reset, but just get the message "Cannot delete" So I'm stuck. Any ideas?

Many problems associated with the implementation of an e-mail account on your phone or validate a password can be resolved by typing www.blackberry.com/integrate in your phone's browser and from there. You could also contact your carrier, EA and ask questions about access to their website self-service of BIS (BlackBerry Internet Service). From there, you can post the accounts add new and remove those that you do not want to use. This is useful if ever you cannot access it from your phone to perform these functions. BIS ERA self-service site is http://ee.blackberry.com .

Give it a shot and report with your results.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones how Accounts Setup no BES

How to configure an Internet (POP or IMAP) e-mail account is not BES?

All google searches, I've tried indicate that I have to deal with altermatve options.

    Using BB Bold 9700

Thank you very much. I had a packet of BIS data but for some reason, it did not work. Taken about an hour to sort. They created two IMAP accounts for me. I want to change that. Seems you jave to do via a Web site and not on the phone itself. Now the user name and password they've put in place for me is not workoing, so I asked for a new password. He confirmed that he will be sent to my phone. I don't seem to have that kind of message. Any advice?

  • BlackBerry Smartphones two accounts on the BlackBerry Bold 9650

I had a "BOLD" of Verizon BlackBerry 9560 for about two months.  I use both an e-mail address of work through my company's BES and a Hotmail account.  Last week I had problems with Outlook duplicate appearing on my calendar, events so that our "wiped" IT Device Manager which seems to have solved this problem but brought another person that I need help with.

I put the device in a way that all notifications in my Messages folder (including work and emails Hotmail, texts, BB Messenger, missed calls and voicemail notifications). However, since the reset, two old items have disappeared:

First of all, I used to be able to choose if I wanted to send an email from my 'Office' (business address) or a Hotmail account by clicking "Email Composer" in the menu and then scroll up to above to: line and switch between the desktop (by default) and Hotmail. I would only be able to send from the office (i.e., there is no way to switch to Hotmail to send instead of this account). I tried 'Inbox settings' in the Options menu, but can't find out how to add the Hotmail account it.

The other problem is that for incoming Hotmail messages, when I clicked on delete I used to be able to choose if I wanted to "remove Pocket' or 'Delete from Handheld and account' (or something like that.  Now, if I click on delete a Hotmail message, it removes both the BlackBerry and the Hotmail account, which I still don't want to do.

    Any help/advice/suggestions?  Thank you!
