  I have a factory unlocked private purchased from carphone warehouse, using a sim card 3. So far it has received updates of security very well. With Marshmallow every time I check it says system is up-to-date. Its May 19 now and still no sign of the marshmallow update, which seems to have been generally available to others for a while... can someone advise whats happening / I just wait some more, it's that a technical problem?

  To verify that it is the SIM card, I found an old O2 sim card, return the cut with scissors to fit to the priv (perhaps not recommended) it stuck into the sim card slot and restarted. Hey hop about a minute after the restart he offered the update of Marshmallow and currently downloads the update 1 GB file. I guess I'm worried that when it reboots my phone might end up locked to O2, we'll see.

  However what seems clear is that if you can update an unlocked carphone warehouse priv Marshmallow depends on the inserted sim card - why blackberry would do that I don't know, but there are many users out there, impossible to update accordingly and I think Blackberry should at least inform customers...

  I have the Blackberry Bold 9700 and problem with Bluetooth. The phone is not able to find a new Bluetooth device but is capable of associating other device when asked. I bought the hands-free kit and cannot pair with phone because it is not able to find the car handsfree. I tried to pair it with the Samsung Galaxy and it wasn't any problem.

  Hello, I just had the Priv and turns out that I can't receive notification of bbm in the hub. I actually have to go in the app bbm itselft. I have the settings set properly in how I learned to do through crackberry forums. I have the icon for bbm showing on the top bar as well (if it's of any importance). Not knowing what to do.

  You keep mixing up the notifications and the convos... These are different things.

  If you don't have a BBM contact, so don't expect convos appears in the HUB (since there is no active convos)... and more no notification on convos (since having a convo is a condition precedent to the receipt of the notice of one).

  Channels do not fit in the hub. So it's WAD - works as expected.

  the media Application is part of the operating system and cannot be deleted. You have one, but it can be hidden in the home screen icons.

  When odd behaviors creep, the best thing to do is the battery pop reboot. With the power of the appliance, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait about a minute and then insert the battery and replace the cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long long long restart the process (perhaps as long as 10 minutes). See if things return to normal. Like all computing devices, a restart may be a healthy thing.

• 'A 2fa' blackBerry smartphones application does not work on Priv

  The Playstore Google has an application name "2FA One" by 2FA Inc. that will generate the OTP tokens for multi-factor authentication. The problem is that Priv do not set up the application to make it work. Steps to reproduce:

  1. launch the application (it will give you a screen "Thank you for installing..").

  2. press to continue.

  3. Enter the URL of the server to which you will connect.

  4. press to continue. This step WILL NOT WORK for me.

  If you enter an incorrect URL in step 3, it will give you an error that it cannot find the server. If you enter the right pair, it will allow you to enter a PIN for security access. The problem is that the "Continue" button does not work. I was wondering if it's just me or all privileges.

  The app works on my LG phone. I tried it on the default built Priv AT & T, and the AAE599 build without success.

• BlackBerry Smartphones Priv calendar reminder dismissal or removal

  As far as I can see, when you put in place an event in calendar of Priv, there is the possibility to select a reminder.  When you choose a reminder, it is possible to change this reminder by choosing one of the many options of time.

  The question I have is that it doesn't seem to be a way to delete this reminder once it has been implemented.  Of course, once can sweep the reminder on when it appears on the phone, but the reminder remains within the event.

  The problem is that the recall continue to be picked up during synchronization to another device (in my case, my laptop).  This means that a reminder may appear on the laptop in Outlook and can reject it in Outlook.  Instead being the end of the matter, the private calendar then immediately synchronizes to Outlook and re-inserts the reminder in Outlook, effectively undoing any dismissal made from Outlook.  The end result of which is endless Windows Outlook reminder pop-up every few seconds on the laptop.

  According to the suppliers of Akrutosync, this can be solved by deletion, not to dismiss the reminder on the Priv as dismissing the reminder in Outlook.

  So my question is: how to remove a reminder of calendar on Priv?  In contrast to the calendar within other Smartphones from BlackBerry, there is no option to reset the reminder for "no reminder" in the private calendar.  Once you set a reminder, we're stuck with a reminder.

  It's so simple that there must be an answer, but I'm not and there is nothing in one of the support resources online BlackBerry Priv who said anything on the subject.

  I use the calendar with Exchange Server 2016. When I don't want to set a reminder I choose 0 Minutes. In Outlook, the recall shows with 'None '.
  BTW, Outlook also features 0 Minutes. If this value is set, privs calendar shows 1 Minutes.
  If the Option 'None' is defently lack in the pirvs calendar.

  I recently bought a Blackberry Priv and installation the Google account on this topic for a few days. Things worked well and have set up a scheme for the phone lock.

  However, one night, the phone rebooted and I am unable to connect to the phone with the boss. I tried to reset the device via the Google Android Device Manager, but it says unable to communicate with the phone. From the looks of it the Priv is not connected to the internet (worked fine before). The phone is now displayed in the model to unlock the screen and so called ' emergency calls' and 'To launch Android, draw your pattern' but I am unable to connect using the previous model, I have set up.

  I just got a new unlocked AT & T PRIVATE today on Amazon, and the screen makes a rattling noise when they are hit.  On the web, there are a lot of people reporting a similar issue, suggesting turn the phone to try to fix it.  This has not worked for me.

  Is it just a matter of getting a bad or a phone that has not been produced recently? Or PRIVs all will have this problem, even if they are not immediately, because of poor design or manufacturing?
