BlackBerry Smartphones SMS MESSAGES ARE NOT SENT, they HAVE DEMONSTRATED THAT in the WAITING for HELP

My BB Bold 9000 doesn't send text messages.  I had no problem sending texts to the end of last week.  Now in my Outbox SMS all my text messages are displayed with a red box with a small tail to the 12:00 position and another small line to the position of 03:00, on the left side of the text msg.  When I select the message it shows it is "PENDING". Nothing happens when I select send it back.  The display on my phone is now a symbol like: o_o circles are not separated from underscore.  What does this symbol mean.  I don't think it was until I started having trouble with my text message sent.

First of all, do this: with the BlackBerry device powered on, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart.

the symbol o_o on the home screen indicates that you have a voice message waiting.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones sms texts are not 'threaded' more

    My text messages are not threaded more - every single incoming text appears even if it responds to a previous text.  I do not know exactly when this happened, but it's probably in the last week or so.  I have not installed any new apps and tried a hard reboot.  The only thing that I can remember recently is to remove my account gmail and adding a different Gmail (via BIS).

    I have not found any setting in my BB "BOLD" for this and I had no luck looking for an online solution.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Look at the Options > SMS text > number of previous items.

    What is your set number to? Set it to '7' and then observe what does what you want.

  • SMS Messages are not sent

    I can receive and send the imessages but not text messages.  The parameters are fixed to send and receive.sms

    You may want to discuss with your carrier – especially if it's a new phone or the new plan. SMS is carrier mediated and check with them as the right plan is activated and available for the iPhone

  • SMS message are not sent

    I try to send a message of a vector of numbers, everything works fine in simulators, but when I try on no (9630) real device (without exception or waiver). I tried with and without port numbers and am running out of ideas, any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you. Here is my code (there's a loop surrounding this increment I):

    _conn = (MessageConnection)Connector.open("sms://"+_cntctsNmbrs.elementAt(i)+":0");
                    final TextMessage msgOut = (TextMessage) _conn.newMessage(MessageConnection.TEXT_MESSAGE);
                    msgOut.setPayloadText(frmtdMsg);
                    _conn.send(msgOut);
                    _conn.close();

    If you want to send a few messages, try to add the delay of 1 minute between them.

    Also try this method:

    DatagramConnection dgConn; dgConn = (DatagramConnection)Connector.open("sms://" + _cntctsNmbrs.elementAt(i));byte[] data = "MessageBody".getBytes();Datagram dg = dgConn.newDatagram(dgConn.getMaximumLength());dg.setData(data, 0, data.length);dgConn.send(dg);

  • When I click on a link to seend an email to someone, I get an erro message which indicates that the yahoo mail server can not connect and my messages are not sent.

    Problems sending messages.

    When I click on a link to seend an email to someone, I get an erro message that says that this yahoo mail server can not connect

    and my messages are not sent. I have a total of 9 messages that have been blocked.

    Do I need to have a pop3 address or can you tell me what is happing.

    You must have an account set up under Tools | Accounts | Mail to send from Windows Mail.  If you click on a link, it will not lead you to a webmail interface, but called instead a mail client, such as WinMail.  Around that, the only way is to copy the email address and paste it into a new message you have composed of webmail.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones SMS Messages: What is follow-up?

    Hello

    I'm on a family plan talk with AT & T.  I was wondering if the content of SMS messages are tracked or stored anywhere.

    It appears on the invoice?  Can he ask to appear on the invoice?  It appears on an online account?

    Is there a software that can be purchased to store and track the content of SMS messages on a phone?

    SMS messages are stored on the chip memory somehow?

    I am concerned about safety violations.  Thank you.

    It is not down to security with SMS is the only data that can be read by the carrier, who would probably need a written request of the holder of the account, or the sender and the receiver.

    See you soon

  • BlackBerry Smartphones MemoPad entries are not displayed

    Hello

    On our employee's blackberry curve (software 4.5.0.186), its MemoPad entries are not displayed. When I go into the Options, the number of listed entries is 728, which certainly means she has 728 memopad entries right?

    There is no filter on the phone.

    She is using Blackberry Desktop Manager for Mac to synchronize notes and contacts from Entourage.

    How can I get these entries to show?

    Thank you!

    GGUSA

    Hello

    I think you can try two things: the soft reboot, and if it does not, the hard reboot. Don't worry, you can not lose data with these two reboots.

    Soft reboot:
    1) struck the following three keys at the same time:
    -Alt
    -Right shift
    -Remove
    (2) wait 2 minutes for the Blackberry to wake up.

    Hard reboot:
    (1) your BlackBerry smart phone is on
    (2) remove the battery and wait a minute
    (3) replace the battery
    (4) wait 5 minutes for the device to wake up.

    Please tell us if it works for you.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones SMS messages in a "pending" and do not send State.

    Hello

    First of all, my network coverage is the current state: edge and the signal bars.

    I must have done a framework change without knowing, because for these days whenever I send a text Message it enters a State of waiting on hold. What is the problem? Can I still receive SMS Messages, but can't send. It is also my PIN. I sent a friend request and that is pending for a few more days.

    Try to reset the unit, with the phone lights up, remove the battery for 30 seconds and install it again, let me know.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones SMS Messages question

    Hello

    When I send SMS messages to my friends who do not own a Blackberry some of them can not open them. They say, they cannot have an error message that says: "can't stand not happy." Is it a matter of adjustment I have? Thank you!

    Hello

    It is not necessarily a parameter. Just be sure that when you send messages that they are not strange characters. In addition, it might be the coding. Generally, it should be 7 Bit.

  • Problem blackBerry Smartphones SMS messages

    Hello, all.  This question has probably answered elsewhere, but I couldn't find the thread.  I can't transfer most SMS messages on my 8330.  When I select a number to which I want to send a text message, nothing happens.  I have no problem of message transfer, I wrote; but, of course, messages I want usually forward are those who sent to me by someone else, and those I can't move forward.  I have spent at least a couple of hours on the phone with technical support and also reinstalled the operating system, but nothing has worked.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks in advance!

    Joe

    Well, the problem is resolved.  I called tech support today and they had me upgrade to version 4.5, which I didn't even know was available of the software.  Apparently, it came out in the last days.  In any case, I can now forward messages to anyone anywhere.

    Thank you very much for you reply to my messages and to help me think about the problem.  I don't know that I need help sooner!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones SMS sending / is not receiving

    Hello everyone, I am working on a Sprint 8530 on a BES server:

    Software: v5.0.0.654

    Platform: 4.2.0.298

    Work e-mails, MMS works to send and receive internet works, and it can receive SMS messages, it can not just send SMS. I can't understand it, there is no option to reply to the sms, when I send an sms, or when I brought to compose a. I went to Options > SMS text to check the settings, I don't know what they are supposed to be, but they have matched mine (mine is same phone & software, etc.) and mine works. The only difference is at the bottom of the text of SMS on mine it says "turn off auto text: No." and there is no option on the other phone. I'm lost, I did a hard reset, I even updated the profile just for laughs, still no change. I also went to the Options > MMS to check and make sure that there is no setting that rejected the SMS, but I see what I think it might affect.

    Just in case where someone asks, the settings under Options > SMS are:

    Conversational style: bubbles

    Show names: Yes

    Full name: me

    Press to send: Yes

    Data encoding: Ascii

    Priority: normal

    Callback number: (is the # correct for the phone)

    OK, the BES reset fixed it... surprised me, but I guess it should not consider more how invasive BES...

    Information that you reference was never available in the facebook for blackberry app, same 1.9. However, you can only view the mobile site by pressing Menu in the application, then select "Go to the Mobile Site" it of your perception of information, hope that answers.
