  Hey guys

  I have a problem that may seem fairly easy to solve.

  I sent an SMS text message and now I can't remove it anymore. I can hide (with the option "hide sent messages" or "hide filed messages"), but I can remove it even when I press the menu key and 'delete '.

  I sent other texts I have since then deleted but I can not just delete this one!

  What's wrong?

  Sorry for the trouble, but I noticed this same problem with few other users, who could not send pings to any BlackBerry 10 there BlackBerry 7 devices.

  To solve your problem, I suggest to re-install BlackBerry Messenger!  To do this on your homescreen go to Options > device > application > locate and remove BlackBerry Messenger from there. After deleting to do a battery pull reboot as this device powered on remove the battery wait a min. then reinsert back.

  Finally, after the reboot, use your BlackBerry browser and go to www.blackberry.com/bbmdownload and download the latest available for your phone model. If device reboot prompt do then sign in with your ID BlackBerry even.

  I had a Blackberry Storm 2 9550 on the Verizon network for more than a year.  2 days ago I lost the ability to send SMS text messages.  My message screen looks as if it was sent, but no one received them.  No settings have been changed.  Help!  I tried all the tips and Web sites, but have not been able to find a solution to the problem. I pulled the battery with no improvement. Suggestions?

  got an answer on Crackberry and it's fixed!  I was connected to a wi - fi until Friday system.  Apparently, if you have a wi - fi connection, and then it is disconnected, you cannot send a text.  If you turn off the wi - fi and network connections, and then turn it back on only the network connection it text.  Irritating, but I'll remember to do the next time that I log out of a wi - fi system.

• Problem with blackBerry Smartphones sms text

  Someone else had problems like these?  Here's what did my Bb Curve:

  For awhile, it was impossible to receive text messages.  I received emails fine, but sms text messages may appear momentarily in the folder and then disappear.  Even if the folder was empty, the signal icon, I got a text message appeared on my desk and would not go away.  MMS messages appeared for a minute or two and can be open, but then disappear mysteriously.  Weird, huh?  When all this was going on, everything moved very slowly on my Bb; for example, I would try to open an e-mail and would wait 30 seconds to a minute while the hourglass icon appears.

  But after a few days, the problems went away.  Just before I was about to take my Bb the ATT store, the screen turned white and the words "App Error!" and "Reset" appeared.  I clicked on Reset and after everything is back to normal.  So, a few questions:

  1. What's happening here?

  2. If this happens again, he would work to remove the battery and then replace? Or something else would work?

  None of my sms texts will be turned off, will go just in a mode "on hold". I can receive texts, make/receive calls and make/receive emails. Someone knows how to fix this?

  As you say "Anymore" I am guessing that it used to work?

  Have you tried this:

  Make sure that the phone is on, not connected to anything...

  Then pull the battery... Its very important you don't turn it off first... This will cause to save its seen error...

  Look at the Options > SMS text > number of previous items.

  What is your set number to? Set it to '7' and then observe what does what you want.

  My Blackberry has deleted ALL my messages and from one of my contacts - the entire cat for several weeks has disappeared!  This includes images that contact sent me.

  Is there a way I can restore messages?  Please help, loans at all to get back them!

• BlackBerry Smartphones SMS text has disappeared!

  I don't know what I did!  Have been using my Blackberry quite happily for many years, but suddenly, the text disappeared.  I can see the text that I entered it, but after sending, I do not see in the box above which is all gray.  If I get a text, I can see the first words in preview, but when I open it, the text is not there!  Looked at my Blackberry, (9315/9320 software 7.1) help see if I pressed or something I shouldn't, but couldn't find anything.  Turned off and left for half an hour to see if that fixed it, but it didn't.

  Email is fine.  Everything else is fine.  Do not think that the phone knows that terrible snow!  Please can someone help me?

  Rather than... Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  Yes, you can. Open the message you want to save, press Menu > SAVE.

  Just hoping someone can know the best way to do it - old Sony K800i mobile SMS SMS that have sentimental value - want to keep dates and times, etc.--and move to desktop PC.  Was told NOT to take them for BlackBerry because it can cause problems, and it is very good if I can get them just for PC.

  All the world is that where it was a success and was not a problem - or has another problem?  If so, can you suggest what tool / 3rd party software to use it.  Phone is the phone previous version doesn't have appropriate menu options to use with PC Suite, etc.?

  Thank you - I have the USB cable and found some 3rd party software that keeps the date and time stamps of the SMS and allowed me to move them in a text file to the computer.  It was pretty easy once I got the tool to do so.
