  Hello everyone

  Last night, I received a text message on my BlackBerry Z10. I opened it and read it completely.
  The notification disappeared to show that there is nothing new.

  This morning, I rebooted my machine and now there is a small notification message text showing every time I use the BlackBerry Peek. I tried to reboot again, but nothing helped.

  Can someone help me please on the resolution of this problem. It is embarrassing to see it every time and then there is no sms.

  I also tried, and it didn't work. But I found a solution.

  I just selected all my text messages in the hub and selected the option 'read prior brand '. Then I opened the last sms on the list and it closed and the notification was gone.
  I still don't understand why it worked, but I'm glad that this was the case.

  Not sure if anyone has this error or if there is a way to simply refresh and delete it but I have a weird problem.

  The bar at the top of the screen between "select profile" and the "magnifying glass search" where notifications pop up do not know what called this page but in this slide to the bottom of the screen in text Messages, I have a text message which is housed to unread. Even if I deleted the text message and I tried everything to try to make it disappear. Today, I have a Blackberry Messenger Message that will not clear as well. Does anyone else have this problem and find a way to refresh and get ride of it? I have tried turning the unit on and off a few times, but does not resolve the issue.

  mine did, sometimes ill leave it there and it will go away or I just reboot my phone with the ALT + SHIFT + DELETE key combination

  Hello, I have new tones, that I downloaded on my BlackBerry Tour 9630. I tried to set a different tone on an incoming text message, but it still plays the one pre-loaded on it. How can I change the tone of the text to another message that I downloaded, I tested the tone on incoming call, but I would only it the text because I got the tone I want on a call. Thanks for any info.

  What do you have?  There was a problem when the tour is out, but when they have upgraded to 5.0 that fixed it.  However, the last update brings back the problem.

  My 'text' icon disappeared recently in the menu "All".  Apparently, it was replaced by a second 'contacts' icon  Fortunately I got it in the "Favorites" menu as well, so I can still access them.  However, it is annoying to have to return to the Favorites menu just to read a text message.

  I have since put it so text messages go to the Inbox of General messages, but I would have preferred to return the icon.  I tried to pull the battery nothing works.  Any suggestions?

  OK, do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most defects and errors of operating system, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.

  Now see if this icon corrects itself, since you think it could have "transformed into" bad one.

  User of new bb here... I've just set up my bb to check personal emails. It works very well. However, when I receive a new email, I get email notification and a notification on the message icon. I want notifications by e-mail to inform its icon only... and text messages with its own icon.

Once in the messages screen (I did it with messages and e-mail journal), I clicked on menu, then options, then on options General, and then where it says SMS and EMAIL inboxes, I chose separate. I saved and then have left. After having done that, however, he still is advising me on the two icons when I receive a new message.

  You have a 'messages' icon that will collect all messages email account.

  You have a second icon to a specific e-mail address. Scroll down to this one, press Menu > hide.

  Please open the SMS folder, press menu BB sign > Option > change network option to send > press ESC > save & then try again.

  I have two problems with the voicemail on my Bold 9900 that appeared in the (previously fine) young a few weeks. (1) I get a "new voicemail" message: when I call voicemail, it turns out that the message is an old one. (2) when I call voicemail, the narrative of "you have a new message" is interrupted by a sequence of sounds as if dial a number on a phone keyboard, followed by a 'key '0' continue'.  Can anyone help?

  When I text and the message is send there is usually a symbol that resembles a signal wifi next to my name of recipients. Then the message is finished sending and a check mark appears. But today, there was a red clock symbol with your hands at 12 and 3. What does that mean?

  This red watch means that it is pending or in progress - not sent.

  This eventually turn to a checkmark in a sent message? If this isn't the case, perform a simple reboot:

  With the BlackBerry device powered time, remove battery for a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart.

  1. on your home screen, press Menu > SHOW ALL, so that ALL DISPLAY is checked.
  2. look in EVERY folder on your device... Applications, instant messaging, downloads, etc.
  If you don't see it still, look at the Options > advanced > Applications. Do you not see it listed there?

  My messages for SMS and email appear on "text file" and "mail folder".  I want to separate them.  I tried the - settings-options-general options then "separated".  But it does not work.  Aid others?  I'm dying here!

  In the selection of file messaging latest date you want to remove (date especially your messages). Click the menu button and select delete before. You can also delete several messages holding down # and roll the trackball to select messages. Click menu BB button and select Delete.

  Messages that will not clear can be located in your recorded message folder, delete you have the recorded message folder and delete them there. In the case of SMS messages click menu BB button and select view saved messages.
