  HI - hope someone can help

  We had a member of the labor force leave our company who has used his personal blackberry to receive emails from work on his handset. Even if he has left to join a competitor that it continues to receive our emails to sales.

  We know the email address (this is our address general sales)- but we do not know its PIN BB code

  Is there a way we can ask RIM to list the devices that access the e-mail account on a BB device and then ask a removal device?

  Hello and welcome to the community!

  If this email account has been integrated into its BB via your company BES, your admins BES need simply to remove it from the BES console.

  If this email account has been integrated through BIS, then the thing safest to do would be the same thing that everyone should do every time that happens the turnover - change all passwords on the systems to which the former employee had access. Yes, this means that all users access this email account must reconfigure their interfaces, but given this symptom, there may be others who also have access to it? It is likely (IMHO) time for an audit and a reauthorization of only those users who need access.

  I don't think that RIM may even find the information you are looking for... Well, not just at least... would probably someone to do a little digging around to find it. Even if they consented to it, I'd bet that you would pay very very heavy for them to do. As this isn't anything within 'normal' support, I think your only option even ask about this is via paid incident support, which costs a tax just BTW even ask the question.   Just transferred one of my domains hosting that I use for my other domain. Went to create an e-mail account for the 3 email addresses I had the BB under prior host. Removed the old accounts. Click Setup mail accounts, then other then entered the correct address and the correct password. Received message 'invalid address or password '. Not possible I installed these accounts on my PC and my IPad with no problems. It seems that BB won't accept any new domain name account that I transferred 10 days ago, can someone help me please?   TCC - I THANK YOU first to respond to my situation and the second to be ON - it appears that you are an expert on the RIM! That was the problem - integration. Apparently my Blackberry account 'forgotten' about my domain name and had to be reinstated. I discovered by obtaining technical support for my carrier, AT & T and when they could not understand why the e-mail accounts could not be created, they transferred me to RIM. The first level of technology was also confused, but Nick and then of the immediately higher level of tech told me exactly what you have written here - same problem, same solution. CptS, thank you!

  I use a personal email account pop3 transmitted to my "BOLD" from my computer at home.  When I discover a mail on my "BOLD" and then click to remove, it gives the possibility to delete only on my phone or in both places.  I received an email this morning. I clicked to delete just on my phone. but it removed in both places.

  I found the problem, but first of all, to answer your questions, in Outlook, and no, I don't use a server.  Now for the answer, it turns out that the sender sent the e-mail to my work rather than the personal email address, so when I checked my staff and do not see it I thought that the suppression feature had not worked right, so this post.  Later, I thought to check my work email (also a pop3 server), and he was there.  Sorry for taking the space, but thanks to those who have responded.

  I'm trying to put in place a sound alert to receing a mail from my wife.  An email from his house for me email address works very well, but his work email, no alert sounds on the phone.

  I followed the custom contact options IE edit the contact - personalized ring tones/alerts instructions but I still receive only a warning sound to his home email.

  Can anyone suggest what I am doing wrong?

  Thanks I had a careful look at the coordinates.  Although I send him an email to a single address, the company responds with a slight variation that they remove the point between his first and second name.  Change its coordinates has activated the alert.

  Well, there are several schools of thought. But, if I understand correctly, BIS is to reduce consumption of minutes/KB on BB. BIS, which is located on your network carriers, check periodically (15 minutes is documented) for new messages to your server. If there is nothing, no traffic is generated for your BB. If there is something, it is pushed to your BB. A manual check on your part would run counter to the goal of saving the minutes/KB since you begin it on your part for the potential of zero return. It is not perfect, but this is how it works... and I'm not losing too much brain power and hope it is different. But that's just my opinion. For me, I'm used to the way it works... and with the habit, he likes a lot. That validates an old adage-'thing' 'best' for all who is the one to which they are most used.

  Select the new address to be the default.
  All at the bottom of the list of accounts in the left side is account Actions.
  Under this menu is to set as default.

  FYI: The display of your e-mail is that a public forum is the best way to provider of this info to hackers. I edit this info and refrain from publishing personal information in the future.

But all of a sudden tonight trying to remove almost 100 entries of (recent) Agenda of my computer.

  Any ideas, anyone? Thanks in advance...

  It begins with a process to start properly and there is an exchange of views, and there is also a post (15) with links to earlier versions of the Software Desktop, if those who are needed.
