BlackBerry Smartphones touch restoration

Hi, I backed up my Blackberry 9700 using the Office Manager for PC and also saved on Blackberry Protect... Now I need urgently a contact but I do not have a Blackbery here... Any ideas on how I could get the contacts list? Thanks in advance

If you do not have the BlackBerry handheld device, there are two options for extraction and display of data from backup files.

1. the RPI Parse macro is designed to read a Blackberry IPD file and create reports in MSWord or MSExcel format. It's free, and you can find more details here: https://sites.google.com/site/ipdparse/home
. BBB backup files, use this macro to extract seven files 'primary' RPI (address book, calendar, SMS Messages, tasks, notes, pine Messages and phone call logs)
IPD bbb extracted macro https://sites.google.com/site/ipdbbbextract
These files IPD subsequently usable as inputs of the other macro, IPD Parse, to produce reports.

2. an other options is MagicBerry MenaStep... that extracts a BBB file or backup IPD files IPD, etc http://menastep.com/pages/magicberry.php split

3 another IPD and BBB file utility is BlackBerry Backup Extractor and is available for PC and Mac and can be found here: http://www.blackberryconverter.com/ there is a free and paid version.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones how restore server BB Phone again BB 9720

    Hello

I need help. I just got a new 9720 BB after that my old BB 9220 phone stopped working. Before the old defective phone, I got my data backed up on the server by using BB BB protect.

I signed into my new BB using my BB ID and my BBM restored 9720 my BBM contacts. However all data like contacts, Notepad, messages, e-mails and whatsapp are not restored.
Whenever I go to BB protect app, it does not give me the option to restore, rather they want to back up my current phone.

Can anyone help me to restore all my data saved on my old BB Phone on the BB to BB Server protect in my new BB Phone?

  • BlackBerry Smartphones only restore BBM contacts - how?

    Hello

How can I restore ONLY my BBM contacts using the desktop software?  I looked through the choice of data but none like the right. I have a Torch 9800 and I use the latest office software. (6.0 bundle 1907)

I use my BB especially for work it is setup with connection of mail company so last week when I had problems they have wiped my BB and now my email and business contacts sync works well again but I lost all my BBM contacts.

In the restore office option, I use the "select parameters and device data" to select data to restore, but I cannot easily determine what type of data I should be restore so I didn't wipe my e-mail contacts existing or other parameters. Given that I had about 60 BBM contacts fields that show a counter that is close (and therefore looks promising) to the correct quantity are: Messages, folders, store of Trusted keys, stored key pocket, and recent contacts.

Any help or thoughts are appreciated.

No, you're not... the latest version is 6.1.0 Bundle 34...

See this KB for a list of all databases on the BB:

    • KB03974 List of all databases on the BlackBerry smartphone

The appropriate injector is there. It's a shame you didn't otherwise save your BBM contacts... BBM itself offers the possibility to make a backup of contacts... I've always found that more useful than the ability to backup/restore of desktop software.

  • BlackBerry smartphone touch screen does not work, 2 phone... Torch = junk

It's my 2nd my first Torch torch touch work stoppeed and ATT sent me another...

Now this torch touchscreen stopped working, so far, I did a reboot hard and soft...

now I can do a factory reset or downgrade...

IM starting to think that the torch is undesirable.

Well, I talked to ATT tech support and I actually finally got through to BB and they open a case and gave me a number of good ticket for 3 days...  The first tech support was a dunce and she told me that 7 hours was taken long to upgrade software, so she told me to unplug and re install...  That solves nothing, only bricked my torch, even though she was right about one thing 7 hours is far too long, but it does not solve anything...

then I recalled in support of BB using my ticket number... and here I actually spoke to somebody who knew what he was doing...  We connected through desktop remotely, and he guided me...

He told me to never update device software when the software asks you to update...  I told him, I was getting a white screen and it says App Error 200...  He told me that we have a clean wipe and install everything new facility...  He has directed to the site from ATT and I DL the latest peripherique.246 software...  Then after it DL'ed I installed;...

then he had me to connect the device again AND GO INTO PROGRAMS CAN record B\LACKBERRY

then find charger, here, he had me select the apps I would like to, and then click Next...

then after 5 minutes it finished loading, he then told me to wait another 10 minutes for the device to reboot and then my torch works!

If anybodys touchscreen doesn't work more or torch is made of bricks, I highly recommend doing this procedure...

I called BB again and had them send me an email for accurate insrucions, so I recorded in case this happens again... Here it is...  Keep in mind first you need access to the ATT site will link you to the site Web de Blackberry and then DL file then open and install and do the following...

Check that the device client software is installed on their computer, or it won't work.

    1. click on the start menu
    2. go in my computer
    3. go in: C:/Program Files/Common Files/Research in Motion/Apploader
    -If its 64-bit windows, it will be C:/Program Files(x86) /Common Files/Research in Motion/Apploader
    4. double-click on "loader.exe" (it may be called "loader" according to windows settings)
    5. a window opens saying "welcome in the application loader wizard." Click next
6 next, where it is written 'Connection' to ensure that either "USB - PIN:" or "USB - PIN: UNKNOWN" appear. ""
    7. click on next. It take a while to connect to the device and then view the Application selection screen.
-L'application selection screen will be a list of application control.
-Items that are checked will be installed, if they do not already exist on the device.
-Items that are not checked will not install, and if they already exist on the device they will be deleted.
    8. ask the customer to scroll through this list and check all applications they know they would like on their blackberry.
    9. once everything looks good, click Next.
    10. click on the Advanced button.
    11. make sure that 'remove all previously installed applications' and "Delete all application data" is checked.
    12. click Next.
    13. If loader.exe asks you if you want to automatically back up and restore data, select "do not automatically backup and restore."
    14. click Next and then finish
15 advise the customer that this process can take anywhere from 20 to 40 minutes, and everything they do during this time is to ensure that the blackberry is connected. The first time that their blackberry starts after this process, it will stay on the screen of the hourglass for about 10 minutes, nothing to worry about.

Once the client can see the home screen of their blackberry, they're OK disconnect.

The customer will have to re - turn on their radio, they can do so by going to manage connections > select Mobile network

    Sincerely,

  • BlackBerry Smartphones how restore you google backup?

Anyomne has had to their contacts/calendar/tasks of the supposed backup restore?

When is Blackberry going to create a private office?

You are confused. Google backup backup apps, home screens, wifi and phone app placement networks. Basically things OS.

To save your PIM (email, contacts, calendar), you must have a basic e-mail account is. Gmail, Outlook, Exchange, can be anything really.

    COMPLETELY useless Office Priv.

  • BlackBerry smartphone touch sensitive screen

I would like to know how I can fix my screen is too sensitive. When I get a call and my ear touches the screen of my phone is cut off, please help. I tried the phone settings, but its doesn't help not. How can I turn off the screen during calls

You cannot adjust the sensitivity, but the BlackBerry should recognize, you're online and don't let not your face put mute calls, etc. Happens to me sometimes.

You might want to try a third party like TalkLock application or such. Check the AppWorld.

  • BlackBerry smartphones following restore, the browser icon is missing...?

I managed to find a way to restore my new phone, but after the restoration, I don't have an icon of browser...?

Here are the basic things to try.

    1. Do a battery pull.  This can be sufficient, even if the chances are that you must perform the following steps.
    2. Re-register your device on the BlackBerry network by clicking the Options > Advanced Options > host Routing Table.  Press the BB Menu key, then select Save now.
    3. Return your service books.  If you are unable to access your BIS or BES account, contact your carrier or BES admin for what they send you service directories.
    4. Pull the battery again.

If it still does not respond, they maybe missed a small step by transferring your data from your old phone to the new plan.  Give them one quick call from another phone, and they'll look at your account to make sure that everything has been set up right.  I know that when I got my replacement, the browser would not show until they overthrew basically one switch (so to speak).  You will know that this is the problem if the status of your connection in the corner top right reads like "1xev" instead of "1XEV".

    I hope this works!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones backup/restore question

When you perform a backup or restore, all information on the microSD card is copied/restored?  If this is not the case, how do save you songs, photos, etc. which are on the map?  You copy right Info windows Explorer?  I'm under win7RC and have a Tour.

While I think about it, I would get a larger microSD card.  What is the best way to transfer information from the old card to the new?

Thank you in advance for a new type

The backup/restore process does not affect the media card. You can just use Windows Explorer to copy the content of the press card. I just got a new media map recently and I just copied the entire folder BlackBerry on my PC, then insert the new card, then copied the BlackBerry folder on the memory card.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones to restore the data on the new blackberry

I have trouble finding information about my question.

My phone was stolen. It was a Curve 8520. I must return to my Curve 8310. I know it sucks, but I can't afford another phone since I quit my job just a long contract.

in any case, I went from the 8310 for the 8520 without any problems because I had two phones. Now I would like to downgrade to the 8310 but the software requires that you plug the previous phone. Is there anyway that I can update all my contacts and BBM surveys program so that I can just continue using the services of BB. I'm in trouble, I lost all my contacts now.

I plugged in the former (the one I use now) in my computer and hooked it up to the Blackberry desktop software.

How can I now the last backup, I had on my phone.

As long as you have a backup from the 8520, connect to Desktop software > device > restore data.

It should automatically find the most recent backup.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones photo restoration software

My photos and my voicenotes seem to have disappeared during my recent backup of the device to the PC.

I came across a number of sites offering software that allows to restore so-called images lost to BB. Some of them are: imoresoft, icare-recovery, easeus, fireebok, yodot, wondershare.

Does anyone know please if none of them work because they describe? In case none of them are not authentic, avoiding any spyware or malware.

    Thank you very much.

Don't try any apps yet, but I've heard talk of icare-recovery and wondershare. I would try both, or other applications that have a high rating (4 or 5 stars)

To recover deleted photos, the best method is the mobile use on PC/software app, App not insert your SD card reader, connect to your PC and scan using this software.

Windows has windows defender and I assume that you have installed anti-virus program. You will get the alert if there is malware/spyware. I'm not afraid of him and once you have recover your precious photos successfully, you can remove/uninstall this software and remove this malware with your anti-virus.
