BlackBerry Smartphones Treo frustrated former duplicate calendar synchronization user...

I have a new Storm 9530 - Verizon - I need to sync a calendar through my work - no. BBerry Exchange server access - calendar to access emails through webmail AND my PC at HOME - the two Outlook 2003 on XP.

I also want changes to the calendar on one of them transferred to another.  I called Verizon - they asked me to do a Hard reset and then told me that the Blackberry Storm is never really supposed to sync between two calendars... Really, I can't believe that I can?

So now - I have 3 entries for each calendar event ON the Storm.  Calendars from my home and work are right - but the entries of strings on the Blackberry make me rethink my decision.

Can someone spell - in simple terms - what I have to do?

Thank you very much

Hello

Here's a scenario:

You can make an entry/appointment on the BB away from the Office on the email address associated to your

personal e-mail account (we'll call it personal@yadad,com

You go home and synchronize your BB on the Blackberry and the address provided using personal@yada,com

the default address on your home PC. Any appointment made on the PC on [email protected] is also transferred

for the BB.

At this stage, the Blackberry and the home computer are synchronized each as a single incidence of appointments/listed contacts.

You will work and make the [email protected] default e-mail on your PC instead of ([email protected]).

Run the synchronization. Contacts appointments since the home PC are synchronized with the work on the two PCs only PC.

Any appointment made on the PC is synchronized to the Blackberry, but they are not on the home PC.

You will always have this difference between the camera and the PC.

If you try to maintain a [email protected] calendar and a [email protected] must change the way that you make an appointment

and to add contacts, there must be only data for work on [email protected] and only personal on [email protected].

When you make an appointment on Blackberry for work, you must select the [email protected] calendar and make

the appointment. It is similarly of [email protected] appointments.

Work and appointment of personal will be displayed on the Blackberry if you select the option to display all calendars.

[email protected] flash synchronization requires that you change the default values of services on the Blackberry to take account of the

[email protected] e-mail address. It is on the [email protected] address and calendars. You will see

all appointments for the two calendars on both PC of as Outlook displays multiple calendars.

The contacts will be available for the two addresses of emails on the Blackberry that the data have no connection with a

e-mail address.

Who is?

Thank you

  • Problem blackBerry Smartphones with MS Outlook 2007 calendar synchronization

    Hi all

Just to move from a Windows Mobile to a BB 9000 phone, so I'm new to this forum. Please forgive me if this topic has already been discussed, but I'm just finding my way :-)

I live in Cyprus and agreed with local BIS service offered here. So I synchronize with my PC via a USB cable. Everything seems to work very well, apart from the calendar. It appears to sync, I asked to accept changes, which I do, but the new features do not appear in my Outlook calendar. Am I missing something simple?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you guys.

    In Outlook:

Main menu > click Tools and then click e-mail accounts and follow the wizard from there to set up your Outlook e-mail accounts.

If you need help on this, I suggest you look at the forums of users of Microsoft Outlook.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Microsoft Entourage for iMac: calendar with Blackberry Curve sync problems

    Hello:

This is my first post.  What I read the forum is a great place to deal with issues of Blackberry and very informative participants.

I hope someone has an answer to my problem regarding my Entourage calendar on Blackberry Sync calendar desktop iMac

    Background

    (1) I works on a desktop iMac system but use Microsoft Entourage for Calendar/Contacts, etc..  I don't use iCal.

    (2) I've set up the time on the calendar Entourage say noon and then invite me by e-mail and send to Blackberry

    (3) I opened electronic information and the invitation and the meeting time shows as 05:00, 7 hours before the time I set up in Entourage.  The day is correct.  When it's time time is advanced from 8 hours to 04:00.

    (4) my preferences system iMac for the clock and time zone settings are set correctly at the normal time of the Pacific (PST) and I use a 24 hour clock.

    (5) Microsoft Entourage preferences-calendar shows the time Zone by default for new events like Pacific time.  Sync Services as no boxes are checked.  I think that it is correct.

    (6) on the Blackberry, to the title of the Setup Wizard, the date and time settings are for Pacific (-8) using a 24 hour clock.   This seems to be correct.

    (7) I will not sync hard wire calendar synchronization using the Pocket Mac Sync Manager software but do electrician for Contact synchronization.  It works very well.

I hope that gives you enough information.  Again, if anyone has had the same experience and found a solution or just has a few ideas, please let me know.

    Thank you

    Please solve the thread, right?

    Thank you

    Hello

In this case, we can try to reload the software on the BlackBerry smartphone to make sure she is running the most recent version and there is no problems with the operating system.

To do this, we would need to back up the BlackBerry smartphone. Please open the BlackBerry Desktop Manager and connect your BlackBerry smartphone. Click the backup and restore button, and select Save. Note the location where the backup is saved will allow us to access later to restore the BlackBerry smart phone.

Once you have saved your BlackBerry smart phone, please follow the link below to complete a clean reload of the BlackBerry smartphone software.

Please test the BlackBerry smartphone before restoring your data.

  • The incredible disappearing calendar blackBerry smartphones... (aka: used to synchronize calendar)

I have a 8100, recently upgraded to 4.5 software and my calendar has not worked since (desktop is Windows XP, AT & T telephone company).  I tried to return the service directories but no help.

I noticed on the backup/restore on the Desktop Manager, it not there no real 'calendar'... There is a 'Calendar All' and 'Calendar Options', but I read is also supposed to be a 'calendar' out there.

Also, when I was reading the service books, he said delete everything that was the "Office" or "CICAL", but nothing with "Desktop" in the service books and the only thing with "CICAL" was Facebook and it does give me an option to remove.

I live and die by my schedule and am lost without it.  Any help is appreciated!  Thanks in advance!

On your device, look at the Options > Advanced > default Services and see if you can select your correct email address it for the calendar profile.

In addition, open the calendar, and then press Menu > Options. Is the timing selected here?

  • BlackBerry Smartphones log DTEK50 with Outlook calendar

    Hi all

I would like to order the DTEK50, and before that, I need to know if there is a solution of Office BB to sync my Outlook calendar and contacts with the phone (no wifi, no exchange server, no cloud service, no outlook.com, just Windows 7 and USB connection). If this is not the case, what product is BB recommended?

    Thanks in advance.

    Best regards

    admundi

    Hi @admundi

BlackBerry does not sync software of office for use with PRIV, or DTEK50.

While some third party options exist in the store to play for wired synchronization, I always ran wireless so I can't make all the recommendations. Therefore, I suggest to review some of these types of applications in the game store and see what kind of feedback people left, etc.

  • BlackBerry smartphones help please! Used to synchronize my contacts list.

There are several different KBs which can cope with situations similar to yours; I recommend you try the KB database search, using a variety of search terms (for example, "lists of duplicate contacts", "lists of contacts of fusion", etc.) to see if you can find a knockout that takes into account your specific circumstances:

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not sync my calendar with MS Outlook

I have a BlackBerry 8830 and am using BlackBerry Desktop Manager to synchronize with my laptop. The operating system is Vista Home and I sync with MS Outlook. I was able to sync without problem since getting the phone in the month of April. There are, all of a sudden a few days during synchronization, I get an error message Intellisync error message 'failed to complete request. In chekcing far I determined that everything except the calendar will sync. First of all, I used the original cd to 'fix' the Desktop Manager software. That did not help so I uninstalled and reinstalled the software. Which doesn't work anymore. Read the suggestions on this website I'm stuck when it comes to what to do next.  When I "view log" on the 'configuration' tab, the last two lines are:

    #-734 internal error.

    Cancelled translation.

I came empty when I typed the internal error number in the search engine.

I think it has something to do with a recurring appointment.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I would like to try to delete the intellisync folder and then try to synchronize again. This may or may not help. Here are the instructions:

    1. Close the BlackBerry Desktop Manager application.

    3. Double click on my computer > Local drive (C drive > Documents and Settings > (username) > Application Data > Research In Motion > Blackberry > Intellisync)

      • Click the view tab, and then click Show hidden files and folders.
      • Click apply > Ok and continue with the remaining steps.
    4. All remove in the Intellisync folder.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not sync the calendar with BTYahoo

I have setup my Blackberry 9780 (running version 6) to synchronize with my BTYahoo email and contacts with success, but the calendar is not just sync.  There seems to not be any interaction between the Blackberry calendar and BTYahoo.

My service provider is O2.  O2 support said it is a known problem and I have to rebuild my Blackberry, but I hope for a less dramatic solution and one that seems specific to my problem rather than a generic answer to a problem.

Does anyone have any ideas or knowledge about it?

Hello and welcome to the community!

In fact, I'm not sure that what you desire is even possible... refer to this:

    • KB03652 By comparing the BlackBerry Internet Service and BlackBerry Enterprise Server features

Note that via BIS, calendar wireless is available only for Gmail... not Yahoo. You can check a second time inside the e-mail on the device Configuration Wizard - if you change your Yahoo settings, tic-boxes for the OTA synchronization that is available there. If only the Contacts ICT - box is visible, then calendar is not available for OTA synchronization.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry smartphones, Remove Contacts or duplicates

I have several hundred duplicates on my Bold 9700. How I either remove or erase all contacts and re - sync with Outlook? Outlook is not the DUP.

If Outlook is correct, then I suggest your compensation device address book.

Connect the BlackBerry to your PC via USB and launch the BlackBerry Desktop Software.

Choose device > data delete > click on the selected 'Data' radio button > and choose the address book data.

Now, Resync your Outlook to the BlackBerry data. I would say that the Desktop software > synchronize the settings you apply defined from Outlook to handheld, so that data transfer Outlook to the BlackBerry (you don't want deleted records on the handheld to trigger destruction in Outlook). Complete the synchronization, and then move your synchronization settings to the "two-way" back as before.
