BlackBerry Smartphones trying to transfer photos from mem device bb to the pc using the bb as a storage device but impossible... Help, please

I read the threads on this and the link that suggested a programme of assistance of the forum. I don't have a media card yet, so the pictures are just in the device memory. I plugged my pc with the USB the bb and he returns as removable disk I have in my computer and reload so I know that it is no doubt being located by my pc. However, when I click on disc of deletion I have, it says "Please insert a disc in the drive I '.»

I then tried to follow what another user did, using the Desktop Manager and Media Manager for my photos.

When Roxio opens and I click on 'images', I get a split screen up and down not a left to right as some users have described.

The upper pane, called 'my media' has nothing and the message says: "this view no results."

The lower pane, called "my devices" shows all my pictures.

How can I get these off my bb and on my pc? Media options card I media support, encryption, no mass storage on... all as needed, even if I do not have a Cardinal media.. just in case where it did something to help, which was not.

I need advice please. I'll be able to get a media card in the next few weeks and then I hope that things will work better.

Thank you
CHYN

Take a look at this tutorial using the Media Manager: http://demos.blackberry.com/mediamanager/na/us/gen/

At the top left, there is a menu whereby you can select 'connection and file transfer. It should be useful in showing you how to do this.

  • BlackBerry smartphone how to transfer photos to laptop blackberry storm

I was on the phone today with my mobile carrier for 1 hour only for erroneous information.

While I was with a representative of blackberry for 1 1/2 hours. After which my media card would not work.

I lost all my photos and cannot format my media card. I removed it once at the time with blackberry rep and after the pictures were all gone.  I said Ok. We will continue to go we tried to format the card and it has failed. I'm now waiting for a new card. If all goes well, there is a problem with the card. I can't imagine what happened when I took it out a second which did stop working.

My question is that I found on the site how to use the blackberry as a USB connection. He says I have to install drivers for my computer to recognize it. The only problem is that the instructions are old and not for my phone model.

All day today, they tell me then when I connect my blackberry storm 9630 it should appear in my COMPUTER. Then, I should be able to drag photos from the phone to my pictures on my computer.

The memory on my phone has the prompt value in mass media storage.

The storm never appears in my computer. We have checked and it is available as material for USB connections it also works perfectly with the Office Manager.

Photos take up so much time using this software I want to find an easier way to do it.

I want to use the Fund Manager to transfer my outlook stuff again.

If anyone has any suggestions on the media card stuff please let me know as well.

Hello melody, I had similar problems in the past (and still - just cannot view files on my press card when it is connected to the storm for some reason any).  What I did is that I found a microSD card reader and when I want to transfer my files to my computer, I just remove the card from my storm, then plug it into my microSD card reader and plug it into my computer and transfer the files using Windows Explorer (just as one would any other flash drive or external hard drive).

While not ideal (as you need to find the card reader), it is actually the best way to transfer files to and from your computer and the microSD card.

And given that you have already tried a lot of things both a BlackBerry Tech and your operator support line, that would be my suggestion.

  • BlackBerry smartphone how to transfer contacts from BB Q5 to Bold 9650?

    Well Yes,.

    You read that right. :-D

I have a BB Q5 and one just got my obsolate Bold 9650 running on OS 5.0 works again :-)) (was looking for the battery).

I want to transfer my contacts (and calendar, if possible) to Bold 9650.

I already have a link to BB and latest BB Desktop Software. None of which supported the other device.

I launched the desktop software and attempted to 'restore' backup file created with link of Q5.

Enough, obviously office did not see all files in the folder where I saved it.

I don't remember the extension of the files created by us office, but the name of the link files extension is .bbb

Is not serious. The problem is: I can't transfer my contacts/calendar of Q5 9650. Mobile calendar is not very important, but I really need contacts.

Is there another way, as the storage cloud or any system whereby I can transfer contacts between these two devices to backup online?
I already have the box on Q5, but it does not at all on "BOLD". Not at all.
BB Protect does not work for the Q5.

    Help, please!

    And thanks in advance. :-)

    PS: Sorry for spelling errors.

    Done everything! :-)

With the help of link (for OS 10) BB, BB Desktop Software and MS Outlook (namesake).

First, I copied my Q5 in Outlook contacts, using the BB link.

Then Outlook contacts using BDS, copied in "BOLD".

PS: It is in short. Manage my original outlook contacts was a quite different mess. :-D

PC: Follow these steps to map the card reader

    1. Insert the memory card into the printer
    2. open my computer
    3. click on network drive mapping
4 Select the letter of the drive you want and enter the folder \\192.168.1.101\memory_card

  • Is blackBerry smartphones possible to download photos from the BlackBerry Pearl for a Mac laptop via USB?

Hi, I have a MacBook and a BlackBerry Pearl 8100.  I have e-mail capabilities on my BlackBerry, but not the internet connection.  I have 182 photos on my BlackBerry I would add to my library in iPhoto on my Mac, but would prefer really do not have to send myself one at a time.  I have the "PocketMac for BlackBerry" app on my computer to sync my address book, etc., using a USB connection, but cannot find a way to download the photos by using this method.

Does anyone know how to get these photos on my Mac in a relatively easy way?  Without the ability to download via USB, can someone tell me how to select multiple photos to send in an email?

    Thank you!

Yes, I remember that Rogers has a single plan by e-mail.

You can select four files to be attached to an e-mail to me.

    -Compose e-mail

    -Menu > attach a file

  • BlackBerry Smartphones cannot add a photo to my own account in the Android contact manager

    Hello

I use the Priv and created an Android account. Now I would like to add an image to my own account, but I get an error only when I edit my own profile with Contact Manager.

In English as: "Please install a photo app, to complete this operation".

(I like to upload a photo to understand more easily, but in this forum is no choice?)

Hi, I had the same problem. You probably disabled the Photos app, right? Go back and turn it on. You don't have to use the application, but you need to change pictures in your contacts.

    Go there; Parameters

Apps, swipe to the left on the page of people with reduced mobility.

  • Transfer photos from camera to PC: photo library no matter the last photos - just all THE pictures...

I'm trying to transfer photos from my phone to my PC camera. Normally, Windows Photo Gallery simply matter most recent photos from the last time. It is important now that each peak on my device (more than 400 photos). Can anyone advise how to either my (Nokia N95) device or PC simply import the most recent photos and not every pic that exists on the device? All solutions are greatly appreciated.

    Hi Homeister,

    1. don't you make changes before the show?

We recommend that you cross check if the target location to store/save image files is intact.
We also recommend you to reset a default file arrangement and check the result.

Check if the problem continues in a new user account.
    1. open user accounts by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking user accounts and family safety, then clicking on user accounts.
    2. click on manage another account.  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
    3. click on create a new account.
    4. type the name you want to assign to the user account, click an account type, and then click on create an account.
