• BlackBerry Smartphones short message transfer rejected for Bold 9780

  There is a person in my contacts that I can not text. Still, he comes up with a x red and says "transfer short message rejected". The person can still text me, however, and I have no trouble calling the number. It only occurs with this contact.

  Make sure that when you create the contact on your BlackBerry® smartphone, that their mobile phone number includes the area code.  Most providers require that the code is used when sending SMS messages.

• BlackBerry Smartphones Email message indicator

  Have a 9900 and despite all the messages being deleted, my phone now indicates that there are 2 messages not deleted.  For a long time, he said, there was 1 message, however after getting my phone back to Blackberry for a minor repair, initially the message indicator was correct.  However, shortly after getting the phone back, he turned to displaying 1 unsuppressed message.  This morning he started to display "2".  Thanks for the help

  Maybe it's a coincidence, but my 8303e stopped device to synchronize messages between my all of my email accounts - gmail, AOL - deleted after the global outage took place last week.  Additional variants, "Reconcile now" has disappeared from the menu of my messages application.   How can I correct this situation?

  I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

  (1) registry HRT

  • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network

  (2) remove and return Service directories

  • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
  • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service

  (3) restart to take batt

  • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should try remove and re-add your BIS lines for these accounts.

  I don't seem to be able to receive MMS Messages more, and I don't know why.

  The sender sends me a MMS Message, but when I open it I see who sent it, but the rest of the message is empty.

  Whenever I have send an email on my phone I get a copy of it immediately... almost instantly after you send. It comes in the form of message not read myself. I clearly messed up an email affecting somewhere... It also happens if I send an email from my pc... almost instantly after you send the message on my blackberry.

  Also is there anyway to stop receiving messages "called" in my Inbox on my pc? whenever I have a message from my blackberry the confirmation message "delivered" appears in my Inbox on my pc.

  Wow... it sounds as if you have an old configuration of GMail in BIS... see this article:

  This problem was actually fixed several months ago... If you configure your GMail account to provide IMAP and then delete and recreate your conduit BIS, it shouldn't be a problem. There are all kinds of improvements through the last sheet of GMail in (I have not tried, btw - I use the application add-on GMail rather than BIS for my GMail accounts).

  With respect to the acknowledgement of receipt that you get - you must go to the configuration of your BB Messages and which turns off:

  • Home screen > Messages > BBKey > Options > e-mail settings > (choose the GMail account if you have several) > delivery confirm > set on no.

  My boss has a Blackberry attached to his desktop computer and I have full access to his e-mails.  If she removes the emails from his desktop computer and then they disappear from his Blackberry, but if I delete an email from him in my computer box, ir remains on his Blackberry.

  However, if I drag the enamel removed from my Inbox deleted the box removed, then it deletes the e-mail on his Blackberry and his office computer, but it is a heavy means time to process spam and other garbage e-mails (and I know that I remember to do all the time!).

  When a delegate removes any element of the box of a BlackBerry smartphone user mailbox, the deleted item is sent to your deleted items folder. Because the BlackBerry Enterprise Server is designed only to synchronize with records of the BlackBerry smartphone user's mailbox, the deleted item is interpreted as missing. The BlackBerry Enterprise Server does not remove an article from the BlackBerry smartphone, unless this element appears in the items deleted in the mailbox when the synchronization folder. You can change your Outlook client for when you remove items from the mailbox to the owners stay in their deleted items folder and they are not being moved to your mailbox. Support blackBerry does not recommend or support this work around, because it requires editing the registry. The Microsoft KB is 202517 and can be found on the microsoft support site. Please don't forget to take precautions normal according to the guidelines from Microsoft if you are planning changes to the registry.

  OK, do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most defects and errors of operating system, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.

  Now see if this icon corrects itself, since you think it could have "transformed into" bad one.

  Yes! I was having the same problem & just solved mine would happen because it removes automatically after 30 days, this is the normal setting, so new daily would be deleted, so you need to do, go to 'messages' no txts & sms, once in messages where your emails & other go, open the menu & go to options, click on the top of the page plus a "display of messages & actions" scrolling down , & select keep messages for 30 days, & change forever! I only tried last week, but since then, no longer deleting messages! Hope this has helped

  Hello

  I was hoping that someone could help me because my knowledge of technology is limited and I have no idea what that means!

  I went to check my Blackberry 9300 "BOLD" today for all messages and I got this message from weird notification on the home screen saying 'look out!' with the only option is to press ok.  The notification was not a text message any and had something to do with the blackberry.

  I pressed ok not knowing what on earth it could be, and nothing has changed!  I checked my list of tasks, my calendar, my text, my message center messages and I couldn't find anything that would cause to her!

  I have recently install two applications of London 2012 Olympic Games on my phone, so I don't know if they have something to do with the Weird message.

  Could someone help me please?  My phone has a virus of some kind?

  Your phone does not have a virus.  I don't know what could have caused this message but rest assured, you're safe in respect to have a virus.

  Uninstall your two applications would be a good start.  If you get any other notifications of suspicious nature, reinstall one of them.  If after a day or two, you see anything strange, reinstall the other.

  I have 2 email addresses that I use on my Blackberry "BOLD". Both used to work properly. The gmail address still works.

  Recently, I had problems with my business e-mail on my company domain. He received e-mails on my Blackberry, but then they disappeared as soon as I read them, with the exception of a few junk emails. Recently, we moved the enamel of Vodafone Turkey to Microsoft Exchange Office 365. I have reset the details by e-mail, and I received an email on my Blackberry of 'Activation Service' confirming that the new email has been implemented. Since then, I received 1 test email that I sent myself but then it disappeared, and 1 other junk e-mail that remained. But I have not received other e-mails on that account to my Blackberry, while several came through my Outlook Express mailbox on my computer.

  My gmail account continues to work ok on my Blackberry. My co-workers who also have email on the same domain name addresses have no problem on their smartphones.

  Right. If you have canceled the activation, deleted all the activation e-mail, rebooted the phone and tried to add the email again? Before you enable exit closed outlook.
