BlackBerry Smartphones weather network

So I recently added the weather network to my request list. Realizing that it only updates every 12 hours (which is the point), I tried to remove it from my blackberry. Well I can't for the life of me find out how to remove it. It's time to push, and I would like to know hoow to get rid of it, because I need a weather report that updates every hour at least.

Any help would be great.

Thank you

Well I thought that the solution on my own, I ended up going to the browser bookmarks, and removing the web feed. Thank you all for at least reading this post. Maybe this will help also.

N.. completely different. For your mobile network, with a strong network carrier (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

    1) register HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    2) Remove and return Service books

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    3) restart

    • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.
    • See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should try remove and re-add your configurations for the relevant accounts. Otherwise, you should contact your mobile provider for formal support.

For the wireless, there is no sort directly 'reset' nothing beyond removing and reconfiguring of the WiFi network configurations. Beyond that, things as device WIPE, reloading the OS, and other very drastic measures would be required. And, important to note, I have no way of knowing if this is really necessary... you did not no matter what description of what happens, so it is not possible to understand your situation and you give more targeted recommendations.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Social Networking works is not on my Torch

So, recently, I decided to swap phones with a friend, receiving a blackberry torch. I made a backup and restore so that I could get all my info from the previous phone. But the problem is that my social network does not work with the torch. The torch is an unlocked AT & T and im currently with fido at the moment. Whenever I try to use a social networking application, he said only: "unavailable data services."

If anyone knows how to solve this problem, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

and I has not record my camera again, do you think that will work after I save it?

    There's your idea!

Yes, you need to get registered with your carrier, it's that they need the PIN and IMEI code.

I hope that the device is unlocked for use on another carrier other than that in which he is the brand?

I have two Facebook & Twitter on BBTorch9800 game, but can be found on a page, nor in any of the folders.  How can I access other than searching for them whenever I want to use.  Thanks in advance!

Step 1, make sure that the icons are not hidden.  While on your home screen, press the menu key and select Show all if this is an option.  If this is not the case, proceed to step 2.

Step 2, go to your Applications list (from your home screen, go to Options > device > application management) and make sure that they are installed.  If Yes, go to each of them individually and remove them select them with your trackpad, pressing the menu key and selecting delete.  Once you have done this, from the browser on your phone, go to www.blackberry.com/facebook and www.blackberry.com/twitter for once more download them to your phone.

Try this.  If this does not work, we have another option that we can explore.

I can't access facebook or any network of my device.when I have connection to say the name of username/password combination is incorrect

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

The most common reason for this is the multifunctional character of the BB keyboard. Be so small, each key must do many functions, and those who are controlled by the alt, caps, num, and other keys. You must be certain that the characters he sends correspond to what you intend. Check very carefully to ensure that you send to make sure the appropriate characters.

  • BlackBerry Bold 9900 not saved the network of Blackberry smartphones

    Hello

I have Blackberry data services with my provider of Meteor, and that they worked with my previous Blackberry 9900. I had to replace it and bought a second-hand 9900, which was a feature of company on the Vodafone network. I have unlocked it and I am able to use the SIM for calls and connect to the internet via wifi, but I'm unable to activate Blackberry internet services. Host Routing Tables are empty and I can't save. In addition, in the e-mail settings, I get only the ability to create a company account.

I did a full factory reset and I tried to save the Tables in routing host several times but nothing happens.

Please ask him to check very carefully as to why your BB cannot receive BIS of their network. There are several possible reasons (e.g., lost or stolen), and you will have to convince them to 'dig deeper' to understand why. Be aware that only they can do this research... nobody here has any access to this research.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones-network error

When I try to open my internet browser, a network error appears, once I close another error with this message appears:

    Java.lang.NullPointerException

I tried a reset by pulling on the battery, always without success and have tried using the desktop software still no luck.  any suggestions or knowledge of what causes this.

Hello and welcome to the community!

There is virtually no diagnosis of those - they are the equivalent of random errors in Windows for which trace the root cause is futile. Basically, here's the last out in the programming code - some event occurred for which there is no event handler in the code. The patch is an update of the code that handles the event... but, again, what is the event is almost impossible. So, there are a few things to try:

Sometimes, the code simply is damaged and needs to be updated - just like a reboot:

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

If it doesn't boot properly, then you need to try Safe Mode:

    • KB17877 How to start a BlackBerry smartphone in safe mode

There may be a code updated to the value of the carrier - check out them through this Portal:

The toughest possible causes are a bad application behave. To find it, there are two options. Is to see if you can read the log file:

Go to the home screen. Hold down the "alt" key and type "lglg". (You won't see anything as you type). This will bring up the log file. Scroll down (probably a lot of pages) until you see a line that says "eception execption. Click on this line. The application name will be in the info. Alternative methods to implement the newspapers are in this KB:

    • KB05349 How to activate, view, and extract the the event logs on a BlackBerry smartphone

The other method is to remove the apps one at a time, wait a while between the two (I usually recommend a week), until the problem stops... revealing the offending application. Yet another method is to recharge the BB OS itself, leaving little time between the addition of other applications on the BB in order to be able to determine exactly what is the cause.

Good luck and let us know!
