  • BlackBerry smartphones which is my blackberry carrier name?

    Hello!

I have a BlackBerry "BOLD" 9000.I need to update its software from 4.6 to 5.0 and update the official BlackBerry site requires a specific carrier like at & t and Bell mobilicity.

There is no such logo on my smartphone on any carrier of blackberry
My device is manufactured in Canada,

If my device is purchased directly from BlackBerry, then how can you download BlackBerry OS?

(This device is a gift so I don't know where exactly his purchased)

He called the ID of the seller who is a 3 digit number and use you it against the published lists of the carrier ID found on the web.

Here is a link that shows how to get the ID and a list of carriers.

I think that phones that return an ID ' 1' where directly from RIM.

Hi I'm trying to. Update my what which is Soft but it sends an error message and it isn't being updated I reboot my phone and do it again but it always send error message Invalid 907 COD what should I do?
And I deleted the app and download it again, but it stil sending this error, with all my contacts thar was recorded in my blackberry is missing what do I do?

I received the same message of Whatsapp to download the latest version on Friday.  I tried 4 times.  I got stuck about 1000 KB in download of 7000 kb.  Something about the BRI... I contacted Whatsapp.  They me sent instructions to go to the site that you suggested.  Yes, I did.  I could not download the latest version.  WhatsApp then told me to uninstall Whatsapp and they provided instructions written for me.  I followed these instructions and then tried to re - install Whatsapp.   I have been unsuccessful.  I then noticed Saturday that my entire directory has been removed.

Nothing more.  As I use Google Chrome, I don't think I could back up my directory and didn't know that Blackberry stores no data on my Sim Card.  I went to my Service Provider shop and they quickly downloaded Whatsapp on a different site, not that proposed by Whatsapp.  They did not however my directory which has about 1 100 contacts.  I then went to the center of Technical Service and all talking with a technician, a woman came and told me she heard my conversation and she was there for the same problem.  Unable to download Whatsapp, Whatsapp uninstalling and the disappearance of his repertoire.  It would therefore appear to be 2 problems... that Whatsapp is capable of shooting one's entire repertoire, and the BB is not able to get something like a directory.  Today, my provider told me that they are not able to help find my repertoire and that they keep in their servers.   They suggested that I join this forum, what I did as a first timer.   Your thoughts?

Hi and welcome to the forums,

Although the installation is quite simple, if you are installing on a PC in a network,

It is a good idea to have your IT Department to install. They can determine the best installation

with regard to their specific network installation.

I left the links to download the software and USB drivers correct as well as the manual

    and the installation procedure.

    Bifocals

Please do not forget to adjust your thread. Put the check mark in the green box containing your answer! Thank you

    Install the correct USB drivers:

  • BlackBerry smartphones which carrier my phone is linked to?

I was just buying a phone BlackBerry NIB off fleabay and inst useful person but said it should work fine as its last 100 clients provided the good reviews 100% without any problems.

I don't know which carrier it's on, the screen started showing only blackberry and then the home screen. How can I check the type of carrier so I can get a contract for her?

It shows BlackBerry 9860 1256 on it and looks like bands on AT & T for some research, I've done on the model RDP71UW Americas English QWERTY shadow grey.

PRD-33124-004 081011 means something? I only had one release on google site.

TIA and this looks like a good day to be... Play with it

For those on OS 7 with a 9860 above is false see if unlocked.

Goto, device, advanced, system settings options SIM card.

Press the BB button and select show keyboard, hold down the SHIFT key locked up for type MEPD uppercase

The help screen worked fine, thanks for that.

It is unlocked so I'm good to go on AT & T.

  • BlackBerry smartphones which features work with wi - fi?

    Hello

I have currently no BIS on my curve 8520. I have a connection wi - fi if.

I thought everything on the phone would therefore operate normally as long as I have a wi - fi connection.

But I see that my email does not work as well as other applications like google maps.

Anyone know what is/does not work with a WiFi on the phone?

    Thank you

    RPH says:

any way to get around this via the settings etc.?

    Thank you

N ° is the way in which your BlackBerry and the BIS service is implemented.

    I hope that helps you.

  • BlackBerry smartphones which series to get?

Research before you buy a Blackberry Curve, but very confused on which to choose. I'm naïve on which is the most recent and has Wifi on. Can anyone of you help me out on which one would be more complete feature. Thank you very much in advance

At this time there is not an available 83xx model which has wifi and gps.  We must choose.  The 8320 has wifi and you can add the GPS function with a GPS bluetooth puck.  The 8310 has GPS, but there is no way to add wireless capabilities.  ATT is supposed to release the "BOLD" (9000) soon (it was released in other countries) and it doesn't have wifi and GPS, but it is not yet released in the United States.  TMobile is supposed to throw the Javelin (8900) and he is said to have wifi and GPS, but no carrier it isn't out yet.

  • BlackBerry smartphones which version is the most up-to-date?

I'm shopping for a memory card for my BB8300 I read the version of the software 4.5.081 and upwards can manage a card 16 GB my version of phones (I have updated last week) is 4.5.0127. I'm not sure of the convention of numbering which is the latest version? (4.5.0.81 or 4.5.0.127) me 127 seems to be superior to 81, but I read that correctly?

Yes, as I thought, you have a 8330 model, not an 8300.

Yes, you can use a SDHC 16 GB card.

BlackBerry Device Software 4.5.0.81 and above - up to 16 GB

  • BlackBerry smartphones which connection is the default value? Network or a Wi - Fi connection? And that they will go out when not to use data applications?

    BlackBerry 9810

    Smartphone (3G / H +, Wi - Fi)

    7.0 bundle 1355 (v7.0.0.261) platform 5.0.0.469

    AT & T

    BlackBerry 9810

    Smartphone (3G / H +, Wi - Fi)

    7.0 bundle 1355 (v7.0.0.261) platform 5.0.0.469

    AT & T

How do I set up my default BlackBerry for Wi - Fi connections, rather than the AT & T network, where a Wi - Fi connection is available?

Use of data stops when I move to another application?  In other words, if the web page loads always when I move check text messages, or if the web page refreshes periodically.  How does the data usage stops?

Your default BlackBerry automatically a Wi - Fi connection if such a connection is present and is strong enough.  As long as your Wi - Fi connection is enabled, data will travel through it.  The only way to ensure that no data continues to use the Wi - Fi is turn off once you have finished with it.

    I hope this helps you.

  • BlackBerry smartphones, which is a RMS database?

While my "BOLD" backup procedure froze when he came to the "RMS database", I used Ctrl-Alt-Del to escape him.

Finally, I went to advanced in the part of backup/restore of Desktop Manager and authorized, 3 inputs, I saw in the RMS database section.

Save can come is fine but I wonder what I was really doing when I deleted these 3 Articles - whatever they were.

I can't find a reference to the RMS databases anywhere.

PS how can I find the version number of my "BOLD" OS - or should I put that in a separate post?

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

Heres a public KB article that treats the data bases...

    http://www.BlackBerry.com/BTSC/microsites/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=KB03974&SLIC...

    Hello

I am a newbie, and I read the message advising all to specify which model you have and the software on this subject.

I have the 8520 smartphone then in the menu > options I have no WORDS to go and nothing obvious in my General options that would lead me to my phone the standard help.

    Thanks Chris.

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

    Bad screen... you go here:

    • Home screen > > Options

    You should go here:

    • Home screen > Options > on

On this screen, the third line of the information... mine says:

    • V5.0.0.1015 (Bundle 1656, platform 4.2.0.442)

That means I'm on the 5.0 version of OS, 1015.

    Hope that helps!

  • BlackBerry Blackberry Smartphones which devices are supported on Micro SD cards

Yes, the kind of a ball strange question however, we features a wide range of Blackberry (until recently that even included the series 7250/7290) of 8703 through the 8520 and Bold 9700.

A project that we are working, we would like to know which of these devices support / have MicroSD cards. We know the 7000 series doesn't have and that does not have the 8700 series.

Is there a list somewhere that says what models have SD card support?

or this list of wikipedia is the best we're going to get...

    http://en.Wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_BlackBerry_products

    Thanks in advance.

It depends on the carrier.  Most is shipping with a card these days, but they aren't always.

The latest version of the software is for the DoCoMo Japan. Would not be any question using this update? I'm located in the Philippines under the Sun cellular network.

  • BlackBerry smartphones which version?

What version other users att using Desktop Manager? When I go through the att/Bbtelecharger the latest version is 4.3. Is this correct? Also, they use what Device Manager?

    Thank you very much

    Hello
for AT & T, 4.3 is the latest OS Handheld Software Design. Other carriers like Vodaphone Gernamy have 4.5. Most have 4.2.

The Office Manager is a completely different thing that allows you to make backups (mainly). You can download 4.3, 4.5 or 4.6 on blackberry.com website. The version number has nothing to do with the OS of your handheld.
