BlackBerry smartphones wrong password so many times

Hi all

I hit upwards so many times wrong password now it's wipe all detail them, please help what to do next.

Hi eelliot

Welcome to the Forums of the BlackBerry Support

Sorry, but if we enter too many (default 10) bad password on our BlackBerry device, it will wipe for safety. It will remove all the data within our system and it will be like new and in this case you can do anything. After reset, you start all over again like you did when you made to this device.

    Hello

I was trying to sync my blackberry information to my computer laptop when I was asked the ID password, I tried a few options but could remember nothing. When it reaches the last attempt of the screen says that if I entered the wrong pin code it would erase all of my information. I stopped went to the site and changed my password to make sure, so I went back and entered the password. Immediately the screen turned white and began to clear all. I pulled the battery immediately and have been frantically the Internet a way to undo it. Please please please help.

I have so many things on my phone, I really need. Especially my baby :-(videos

    Can someone help me.

Hello and welcome to the community!

Failure of the BBID credentials will never wipe a BB. What actually happened, was that you entered correctly your password user - created lock too many times, and he went with the unit, in accordance with the requirements of the security level agreed upon activation of this function of wiping. There is no way to stop it.

    I'm sorry.

  • BlackBerry smartphones validate password, is no, still no email

I'm SO frustrated. For 2 years I received emails on my blackberry without problem. Yesterday, I stopped receiving them and received a message to validate the password of my email address. When I go to the Setup email, it shows my email address (which I can connect fine with my computer) and it is red and below says "invalid account. Please validate. "  Then when I go to add (i.e. the option below the directive "validate") and try to add my account with the same email address and password I've always had, he told me that my email address is already registered and won't let add me it.  I even went to advanced option and deleted my e-mail on the service folder and tried to add again and it's the same process as above. Help, please!

Hi all... Sorry that none of the volunteers noticed this thread... I hope this isn't too late...

I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    (2) remove and return Service directories

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should contact your mobile provider for formal support... they are 100% responsible for all of your services and all your formal support, regardless of the root cause of the problem. They can escalate cases RIM that they cannot manage without charge to the end user. So, if you need to call them, don't let them you fob off... think of him that way... you pay for all the services and support, and they currently deliver.

    Good luck!

  • Can blackBerry Smartphones Protect password - anyone help?

My boyfriend has his password to his blackberry, and the attempt was to 10 trials. In vain the 10 attempts have increased and it just automatically erased his phone. I thought it was supposed to be you locked out for awhile before you can try again. I also looked in my curve 9300 for the option see if you can change that instead of having the phone wiped itself but I am not able to find it.

Anyone know if it is just a general option and can not be changed or it is somewhere where you can change the functionality?

Any help would be great! I'm nervous and off my password for the fear of my handheld is wiped.

    Thank you!

    Hello

BB is highly secure. When the device lock password is enabled, it adds functionality to wipe if the password is entered incorrectly too many times. It's just the way it works. There is no setting to change to change his behavior.

Taking regular backups, that is, as with all computer peripherals, not a business option.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry smartphone accessing password Keeper data using office software

I recently had a pressure of crack in the LCD screen on my Curve 8310.

I need to access my passwords stored in password keeper, however given that the LCD is toast, impossible to read anything on the phone.

I'm waiting on a replacement LCD screen, but need to pass, as soon as POSSIBLE.

Are there programs to display the program on the pc?

I tried a solution that actuall work, so I thought I'd post in case anyone else has this same problem.

I had previously saved data for my Blackberry Curve 8310 using the office management software.

I downloaded a Simulatr for my Curve 8310 and installed the software.  I found the Simulator to the BlackBerry Smartphone simulators - URL

    http://NA.BlackBerry.com/eng/developers/resources/simulators.jsp

Once the program was installed, I ran the program, which shows a picture of the phone.

I started my office management software.

Now to back in the Smartphone Simulator

In the menu, I selected 'USB cable connected' which simulates the connection of the smartphone.

Once I did this, the office management software prompted me to create settings then phone again.

Once I implemented this new virtual phone, I restored my backup from the virtual desktop management software to the new.

I could then use the mouse to go to the password manager and open the program.  It prompted me for my password and all data appeared.

Hope this helps someone else.  Good luck.

    Hello

I don't have 'Outlook' put in place on my PC, or I really like.

Is it possible to synchronize the password Keeper, Memo pad and the Photo of my current Bold 9700 to my Blackberry Desktop Manager?

Then I can transfer these items to my curve 9320.

    Thank you.

    Hi Tamara133

Welcome to the Forums of the BlackBerry Support

If you stay at 9320 curve then more easiset way to do this is an Assistant to switch device using Desktop software.

KB23677  :  How to switch using BlackBerry Desktop Software devices.

Or if you want to perform a selective restore to your new 9320 then first do a full backup of your old 9700 using desktop software. Once you have your backup connect your 9320 and run the software, select the device from software > restore > data choose selected since your last backup you did > scroll down the list and select only the password keeper and memo key data in this list, then click on apply.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones forgotten password

I received a message on my BlackBerry that says (send messages to my e-mail address and changes in your personal data (for example, contacts or calendar) are not delivered to your BlackBerry. To resume the service of this e-mail account to your BlackBerry smartphone, validate your password)

The problem is I don't remember my password, can anyone help please :-) :-) :-)

We do not know your password for your e-mail account.

You can connect to your e-mail account on a PC and get a reminder sent to you. This isn't a function of BlackBerry, but from your e-mail server (hotmail, gmail, etc.).

I accidentally reset my password and have tried to submit 10 such times than recommended.  I did this and then removed battery.  Still in lockout.  Help please.

You ask about the normal device password lock?

Just type random password characters ten times... after the fifth or ninth attempt, you will be prompted to type the word "blackberry" so that you can see the password as you type and before the tenth incorrect test, you will be notified that the device will wipe itself all the data.

    Have you seen this?

  • Message from yahoo blackBerry Smartphones Incorrect password

I get a message on my blackberry that my yahoo password is incorrect and I want to upgrade now. When I click on Yes and update it makes no difference. At the same time, I continue to receive e-mail messages that there was a sign in the attempt of an unknown source, which I suppose is my blackberry.

I removed the hub app and reinstalled without success. All ideas

Yahoo! recently admitted a data breach that occurred back in 2014. Thanks Yahoo for the notice in good time! They recently reset the passwords on multiple accounts. Have you tried to connect from an ordinary web browser and set a new password?

  • BlackBerry Smartphones forgotten password/BB protect restoration

    Hello

Not wishing to take my phone on hols with me that I put a password on it before I left and took note of it, just to be in the knowledge that it would be more safe in the unlikely case where was stolen recently.  On the way home, I entered what seems to me to be the password but I now attempt to input 9 and it still does not.  I made sure that I press the ALT key at the right time for the respective characters, but I fear that I'll end up having to go down the road to wipe it off because she still does not accept my password.

I have BB Protect installed, but my last backup was in February.  I think that the backups were not working because my contract has been terminated and now having subsequently bought a card SIM of Giffgaff my number is different (perhaps someone can confirm if this is likely to be the case).

Can someone please advise as to know if if I don't have to wipe the device, I will be able to restore the backup of the Feb, even if he did under a different mobile number - will be BB Protect care as it's always the same device with the same PIN?  I do somply follow the instructions here - Blackberry protect restore - KB25063?

    Thank you.

    You're welcome and good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones problems password change Email

I recently changed my password by e-mail, however, when I try to change the password on my torch via Setup > e-mail accounts, "e-mail accounts" does not open upward. I can't even add another e-mail account to the device. I click on the 'E-mail accounts' button and the timer will light up briefly for a second or two, then nothing.

I can open all other buttons next to the 'email address' as 'Blackberry Messenger' "Wifi" etc.

    Hello Maddog234567

Welcome to the Forums of the BlackBerry Support

First try a battery pull reboot by removing the battery while your unit is on, wait for a min. and then reinsert it, after reboot go to installation email options and see if that helps.

If this fails you can use your BIS Carrier site to add / modify your e-mail account or use your BlackBerry browser, go to www.blackberry.com/integrate to add / edit an e-mail message.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones forgotten password - attempt of final password

I am on my final attempt to pass and I think I know what it is, but do not want to risk to wipe the phone. If I leave my phone for a few hours and come back then I'll be able to try another 10 times?

    Hello laurena86

As unleashurself already mentioned, therefore cannot you reset the counter. You can perform a reboot battery pull after reboot, your device prompts you to enter the device password, and then you must enter the password.

I think that you could have a mix of different characters in your password, and you are not able to enter properly on the keyboard for BlackBerry. For example, if your password

    laurena86

    • And if you enter l > a > u > r > e > n > a > alt > 8 > 6
    • the actual result will be = laurena8f
    • You must enter
    • l > a > u > r > e > n > a > alt > 8 > alt > 6
    • to get laurena86 on your device.

For example, while on the BlackBerry keyboard, you think you type laurena86, you actually type laurena8f. Think carefully and then enter the password.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Gmail password reset

    I hope someone can help!

Until today, I receive me and send e-mails on my BlackBerry very well. This morning, I thought it was the right time to change my gmail password and did the laptop. Then noticed I was not getting my emails and realized that I had not changed on my BB (duh). When I went into the settings of e-mail and back in the new password, it tells me that my password is incorrect, and if the problem persists contact gmail.com.

I have contacted my provider of technical support services (should' knew better!) and they supposedly deleted my e-mail account of my camera so that I could assign my e-mail on my phone using the updated password. According to them, this should have reset everything and allowed me to start again. No luck, still does not work.

    Curve 9300 3

    V5.0.0.832 Bundle 1399 platform 6.3.0.31

    Tried a battery pull

Tried to remove the account from my BlackBerry

    Any other ideas?

    Thanks in advance!

They were things that I had tried immediately after discovering the problem and they have not resolved it.

It seems that we had to get was to delete the account, wait 24 hours, then re-add the e-mail account. For some reason, it takes a little time after the deletion of the account. I wonder if this would have worked to remove the account, THEN remove the battery, THEN re - add e-mail account. I think that this would have had a similar effect. I tried all of them, but not in this order.
