BlackBerry Smartphones you need to transfer all my contacts in my address book Outlook 2007 on my BB?

I'm sure that this information is displayed no doubt somewhere in these forums, but Ive tried different 5-6 research and can't find what I need to know, so thought I would try a post.

I want only to transfer some of the contacts in my address book Outlook 2007 on my BB and keep these contacts through each synchronization (don't want to sync and have all appear).  Can someone tell me how to proceed?

Assistance or management, you can give me is appreciated! Thank you!

In Outlook, create a new folder in your contacts, name it anything you want and MOVE in this folder of contacts from Outlook, you do not want to synchronize to the BlackBerry.

    Original title: ADDRESS BOOK

It depends on where your contacts are stored today.  Whether they're on your phone, for example.  But they are also synchronized to your email provider?  In other words, can you get to your address book by going to your email Web site as an e-mail service to company/school, or Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail or Outlook.com?  If so, you can sync with your laptop by adding this account to your computer.

If you can answer with details about your configuration and where your contacts are now and where, inside your laptop you want (like inside Outlook perhaps?), we can help a lot more.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BB adds + 1 to all the contacts-manual and save as

I am in Liberia (don't ask) and my 8520 does not allow me to save a phone number that begins with "0".  All my contacts have numbers starting with 0880XXXXX.  (Lonestar cell network - the fine folks who will text at midnight to tell you that they give awards each week...).

My BB think I forgot to add the '+ 1' and he adds for me.

How can I activate this function fun?

    Thanks in advance.

    1. make sure that you set your own code to the Dialer phone screen > Options > smart dialing.
Set your country Code in this format: "+ xx" where xx = country code. Some countries have two or three-digit country Codes. Do not place not the '+' in the entrance of your contact.
    * In the United States, the value of this country as '+ 1' Code and place your code in the appropriate box (this normally the default setting in a new BB).<-- you="" want="" to="" remove="" the="">

    This might not affect you...

    2. in the same place, change the length of National number for the number of digits corresponding to your country (since some countries have less than 10 as that set by default in the BB). Check out the total numbers, less country code. Do not place not the '+' in the entrance of your contact.
    * For example, some countries have a total number to 8 (more than 3 for the country code). You must enter '8 '.

  • Do blackBerry Smartphones you need of a map service internet access?

Recently, I bought a curve 8520 for Christmas. I went through the process of setting up wireless but when I go to manage connections in the home menu, I make a dash (-) next to the wifi connection. It is connectiiong to my network wireless at home, but when I go to the browser, I get "year error occurred while fetch the reqested page. Also, when I go to the host Routing Table that they are not entries. Mobile network I use is Digicel, but I'm not on any blackberry service plan. What is the only way I can access my wirelss home (or anywhere for that matter), if I join the service plan? If this is not the case, then how can I get internet access using wifi connection?

With WiFi and no data plan, you can use the browser from access point to access the internet for browsing.

Options > Advanced > browser, set it to the Hotspot. and save.

You must have the data Plan BlackBerry active on your account with your carrier or mobile operator, in order to obtain the features RIM push email, as well as BlackBerry data services such as the internet browser, Facebook for BlackBerry, BlackBerry Messenger and much more.

Then, call your carrier a inquire to have added to your account BlackBerry data Plan.

    Good luck.

Otherwise, it is navigation Hotspot and it is.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones can no longer see the wireless sync option in address book options

    Hello

I use a Curve 8310 software version 4.2.2.181 (Platform 2.5.0.35) I bought last year. My company has an Enterprise Server for which I completed activation at time of purchase. Activation enabled my contacts and calendar items to synchronize wirelessly with MS Outlook.

But now, I can see is no longer the possibility to do a sync wireless on my laptop. The book options that are, I get only 3 headers under the address:

Sort by: name / surname, first name / company

    Delete: Yes/No

Allow duplicate names: Yes / No

In addition to show me the number of entries.

I have not undertaken an update of major software since the purchase.

    Help, please.

    Thank you

I would recommend Desktop Manager, version 5, without the Media Manager. Download Desktop Manager here:

XP Pro, SP3. I downloaded the free Bullzip pdf printer. Somehow my old printer pdf in my printer disappeared list which I have used for years. I get this message when installing - "you are not allowed to change the settings for this printer. If you need to change the settings, contact your system administrator. I click ok and it ends, but it doesn't work. It does not appear in the printer control panel as a printer to change anything.

I built this computer at home and I'm the only one using it. What is this function 'administrator '? I've never had to administrator on any program. Never. That is what it is?

CNET is infamous for the grouping of things in its downloads as much a / v programs report as junk (I went through the same thing using eSet NOD32 has / v).  I seem to remember that if you ignore the warning and download the exe file and then use a tool like the free 7-zip to extract only the file necessary to run the program you want, you can work around the problem.

All addresses is not a real address book. It is a virtual address, a composite of all the books in your real address book and is provided for research purposes. Simply choose address book personal or any that you have used in the past.

  • Changed default Email/calendar blackBerry Smartphones; Sync wants to delete all appointments/events; Need of procedure

I'm changing my email address.  I want to change the default settings on my BB Storm so that it syncs with the new email/calendar in Outlook 2007.  There are 3 e-mail addresses and therefore 3 calendars showing in my BB.  Originally, I created an aol.com as the default value.  Now, I want to change to the new.  All of this is through Blackberry Internet Service through Verizon Wireless.

When I changed the default on the BB to the new address, the synchronization process wanted to remove all calendar entries that were introduced through the original e-mail/calendar.  I don't want to lose all those entries in my BB or in Outlook.

I need a procedure that will allow me to keep or to import all calendar entries, once I made the switch.

    Currently, the following conditions:

    Windows Vista 32 bit

    Outlook 2007

    By default the calendar/E-mail: ***@aol.com

I want to change default calendar *@rootbeertogo.com

I can't see clearly how to proceed.

    Advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Gary

    EDIT: Delete address

    SOLUTION

After some additional research and experimentation, the following procedure will ensure that you don't lose an event in the Outlook calendar:

FIRST OF ALL, SYNCHRONIZE WITH YOUR EXISTING

    INSURANCE...

    For planning

    1. on the BB, select Options, Advanced Options, the default Services

2 Click here to see what e-mail and calendar emal address is currently being used.

    3. check if you want to change the figure in both lists, but do not choose another at this point.

    4. open the calendar.

    6. press the BB button.

    7. Select Options in the menu list.

8 observe the colors that are selected for each of the email addresses that you use on your BB.

    9. you will then need to this information in order to know what are the events to remove.  They are color coded in your BB calendar device.

    10. you can choose different colors if you wish by selecting each address in turn.

    Now, to the Walkthrough:

    1. in the BB replace enamel favorite default one (other) for the two calendar and send here:

1A by selecting Options, Advanced Options, default services

1B. Select the new email address for the calendar and messaging services.

1 c. Save as you go out.
