as far as im aware, the 8310 can only support SD. next to this, to check your available on board memory, go to Options > status. It will show you your memory in bytes, divide this number by 1024, and then THIS number by 1024 to find your data available in MBs.

  • Recent SDK WebWorks good for old BONES? What versions?

    Hello

I have latest SDK WebWorks 2.3.1.5 and I was wondering which versions of OS .cod file would be actually on. Doesn't not find that documented anywhere

Or is - it mainly depends on what functions the application actually uses?

Is there a list somewhere of what versions of SDK WebWorks are compatible with versions of the OS? Is it still today possible for example to develop a WebWorks app which can be used on devices such as the model of curve 8300 OS 4.5?

https://bdsc.webapps.BlackBerry.com/HTML5/download/previousversions goes back to v2.0 of the SDK, but I have no idea on what is exactly the minimum target version OS of this.

Same thing for the Tablet SDK... Is a .bar file compiled from the sources of html5/css3/js by BlackBerry WebWorks SDK for Tablet 2.2.0.5, usable on both 1.0 and 2.0 of the PlayBook BONES / Tablet OS?

The WebWorks SDK for Smartphone supports OS 5.0 and more.

  • WebWorks Setup for Tablet in Eclipse

    Hello

I downloaded all the WebWorks developments, but still has not found a way to use Eclipse as my environment.

In this documentation, it is just indicated how to download all the necessary software, but how I don't understand these tools in Eclipse.

What do I need Adobe AIR SDK? I thought I have need only that when I want to use the Flash Builder and WebWorks not?

Everything is a bit confusing. Setting up the Adobe Air development tools has been easy, got a few Apps working there, but the Webworks for PlayBook is kinda weird...

    Any help is appreciated!

The WebWorks SDK for the PlayBook is a command line tool only. There is not any integration in Eclipse.  There is a BlackBerry WebWorks for Eclipse plug-in but it's the only Smartphone.

  • BlackBerry WebWorks Packager

    Hello

I am interested in how to do package a webworks project and can't seem to understand it and was hoping to get help.

-This is for smartphones using the new HTML5 Webworks kit.

    -J' installed ripple (v 0.9.0.11)

-J' I installed SDK WebWorks (link to the new site): this is BlackBerry WebWorks SDK 2.2.0.15

and installed under C:\Program Research In Motion\BlackBerry WebWorks SDK 2.2.0.15

On the new site, it mentions that the default path is C:\Program Research In Motion\BlackBerry WebWorks Packager\.

    https://bdsc.webapps.BlackBerry.com/HTML5/documentation/ww_getting_started/creating_an_app_1885567_1...

I'm going to assume the instructions are wrong (?) and the correct path (default)

    C:\Program search in Motion\BlackBerry WebWorks SDK 2.2.0.15

If this is not bad, where can I find this new package manager? Link the site points to BlackBerry WebWorks SDK 2.2.0.15 which installs the path above.

So assuming that isn't true, that I tried to correct the path in the settings of the ripple to

    C:\Program search in Motion\BlackBerry WebWorks SDK 2.2.0.15

    It gave me an error

Oh, Snap! Build request failed with the message: [ERROR] feature is not found in any extention (blackberry.ui)

All I'm doing at this point is get the sample application to run. No changes at all.

Hoping someone can help. I'm testing my application in car and wrap it up, but just spend hours 3 recent trying just a demo application package.

    Hi raj786,

Thank you for pointing out the error in the documentation, we have people working on it. The docs make reference to the OLD default path before the latest SDK.

I don't think that there is a function "blackberry.ui". I believe that the only relevant are blackberry.ui.dialog and blackberry.ui.menu.Can please, you post your config.xml so I can check its correct?

  • Gaps in WebWorks BlackBerry 10 SDK

I found that some parts of the SDK WebwWorks BB10 lack comparing to PlayBook for example.

The biggest problem at the moment for me is the lack of method blackberry.payment. Whithout it I can't monetize my app freemium.

I also need blackberry.media.camera.takePicture, who is also absent.

In blackberry object all alone, I found:

    BlackBerry.app

    BlackBerry.Event

    BlackBerry.notofication

It will change in the future or this features are abandoned SDK WebWorks?

    Thanks for the comments.

Payment is certainly important and focus on right now.  We want to get just before publishing, then your patience is requested.  It will get there in good time.

Note: for functions 'disappeared' BlackBerry object you need to whitelist any API function that your application will use.  For a complete list of BlackBerry WebWorks APIs, see this reference guide (filtered by BB10):

    https://developer.BlackBerry.com/HTML5/APIs/bb10_index.html

As others have said, getUserMedia is now the HTML5 standard that we follow for camera support.  The blackberry.media API exists only because the standard was not defined/supported at that time there.

For a code example showing how to use getUserMedia - see this page:

  • BlackBerry SDK for Windows 64-bit

    Good day everyone,

Please any action kindly with a link to Blackberry SDK for Windows 64-bit. I tried a lot of things, but received no satisfactory answer. Please share with me the URL link.

    Thanks in advance.

As far as I KNOW 64 but Java is not supported.  You will need to download the 32-bit version of Java.  If you really need the 64-bit for the treatment of the other then I think you can configure Eclipse to use a 32-bit version installed separately, but I suspect that will be easier remove the java 64-bit and 32-bit just run.

  • WeBWorK for Smartphones BB

Hello! I'm developing a Web application using html5, I can register it on the App store to be used for smartphones and tablets?

    Thank you

The cool thing about WebWorks applications, is that you do not have the restriction of the original cross for AJAX calls.  Please whitelist the domains you want to access in the file config.xml for an application.

You can then package some of your pages to be part of the installed application, but then also a link in JavaScript or other pages to your remote Web site.  You can almost think of it as the distribution of your Internet site on both servers.

Pages conditioned locally are run on a virtual local web server and your distance on the other pages.  You can even link to local pages of your remote pages using the local: / / / Protocol which starts from the root of the local content packed WebWorks.
