  I had the same problem.  I was able to get around by loading the driver for Windows XP 64 bit from the Canon web site and then install the printer using the normal menu of 'install new printer' Windows 8.  If I remember correctly, I could have gotten an error message or two, but the printer appears in the printer window and ran very well.  Hope this works for you as well.

  I purchased a license through web for xi Adobe & downloaded and installed.  Worked perfectly until the recent update (app was config auto-Update). Now the product does not open, it immediately passes to "not responding" when opening a .pdf file.  I tried to go programs - "fix" without success. I DON'T want to update for DC, as the automatic upgrade has tried to make me do.  I just want what I bought to work! Please notify.

  I got a Portege R700 with Windows 7 64 bit.
  This machine starts very slowly after the log in user mode only.
  The system is waiting for 1 to 2 Minutes before you can work. In administrator mode erverything is fine and fast.

  Thus our directors thought it might be the Toshiba Software and a lot has been disabled or uninstalled.
  Because this did not help and because I thought that it migt be cause of Kaspersky, I started to reinstalled and update the software from Toshiba. Most of it works now. Shortcut keys does not work, then I start TfcRst.exe via autostart now, even he would somehow it would be better in 'systemecommencent '.

  But still some keys do not work. The Tablet touch power switch, just above the touch pad does not work.
  The Fn F9 works. And the two keys to the right upper corner (ecoUtility/off button and the presentation-Key) do not work. In all three major, I get a pop up saying "this function not taken in charge.

  Anyone has any idea of this?

  I'm new to the BlackBerry development and work with the example of BlackBerry Web icon sample (to launch a Web site in the browser) and almost everything works correctly.

  Using the BlacBerry JDE 4.7.0.41, I created my project/application.  I tried to put the project General properties (title, description, version, vendor name).  Loading the app for BB, the title is displayed correctly, but the version shows 0.0.

  In reviewing the .jad file, it seems that the version fields and the seller are not defined on the values that I've specified on the general tab of the properties of the project (see below).

  If you have already compiled the file once before defining general properties, then you need to remove the jad, so it can be recreated or editing it by hand.

  I recommend to Open (ctrl + k) Reader preferences and uncheck 'Enable protected at Startup Mode' in the category '(enhanced) Protection' and restart the CD player. Let me know how it goes.

  For my mistakes, I uninstalled skydrive and deleted the shortcut created in the bookmarks and folders moved to another location remove skydrive folder and re-run the backup and restore tool.

  Then everything worked well for me.

  I used to put my SD card into my card reader and she start LR and then show the importing the Photos screen.

  Just found out that at a certain stage, in the preferences of LR, that the 'see the import dialog when a memory card is detected' checkbox, became not controlled. I have myself as a far as I know, so I guess he did it in an update to Win 10 or via CC LR programm updates.

  Check that box and now everything is fine.

  I'm having a lot of problems with Illustrator CC 2014 and the bearings commented. Every time I have try and attach one object to another, or attach an object to a guide, the object snaps above or below the guide / subject but never properly snaps. This also happens when I'm completely zoomed in!

  Sounds like Illy think than the old.

  The following is a general list of things you can try when the question is not in a specific file (you tried/made some of them already). 1 and 2) are easier for temporary strangenesses and 3) and 4) specifically preferences might be corrupt); ((5) is a list in itself and 6) is the last resort.

  (1) close Illy and open again.

  (2) restart the computer (you can do that up to 3 times);

  (3) close Illy and press Ctrl + Alt + Shift / Cmd + Option + shift during startup (easy, but irreversible);

  4) move the folder (follow the link with this name) with closed Illy (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible);

  5 look through and try the relevant among the other options (click on the link with that name, item 7) is a list of the usual suspects among other applications which can disturb and confuse Illy, point 15) applies to the maybe CS5, CS6 and CC);

  Even worse, you can:

  (6) uninstall, run the vacuum cleaner tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC), and then reinstall.

  I suggest you try the method of automatic loader, very clean and very energetic:

  Beware that it is completely destructive... the device will be 'as new'... None given, no apps, no accounts, etc. Remember you first take a full backup, as well as make full manual documentation of applications, accounts, configurations, etc. Sometimes a restore reintroduced corruption even sought to eliminate, and manual reconfiguration is required.

  You can also use it to return to a BONE earlier if you want... you can install any level of the operating system for which you can find an auto-loader. (Hint... search the site of CB!)
