BlackBerry Z10 Re: BB 10 upgrade to Version 10.1.0.273

I've heard many bad reviews about the 10.1.0.273 update available - I am on Telus and I'm curious to hear anybodys comment on the upgrade good or bad - have still not improved - worried about spoiling a good OS running.

Thanks for the reply - type from what I've read lately - mostly bad and some good comments - makes me wonder why BB free of this update with questions I've heard. For the moment I stay on my current version!

    Worried beforehand because that had problems with upgrading to 10.1 and my mobile operator is not able to help.

    The problem has been resolved in 10.2.1.2977 update.

    I have updated to OS 10.2.1.537 today morning post updated and I'm not able to make phone calls. On the choice of the network, I am able to select the required network (Airtel India) but not able to make phone calls. Neither the data service works. SMS message also works using the telephone network, but not the call. Tried restarting, remove the SIM and the battery without any improvement.

    When you try to call I always get the message "the cell phone line is not available. Choose a different phone line and try your call again.

    10.2.1.537 is, in relative terms, a very old operating system level... you really need to use something more current, especially given your model Z10. I recommend that you force a reload of BONE via the more energetic method... ADF:

    Remember that you you get the AutoLoader for 10.2.1.3247 because it contains some very important fixes for the Z10 specifically.

    I use the blackberry curve 8520... I have used it for almost a year already. I noticed, there are few things missing and some problems occurred when I upgraded to version 5. For example. Notebook, no column as an option for alarm signals, my BB get slower while browsing, whenever I try to connect to WiFi, it will be intermittent or not connected.

    Impossible to connect to the wifi, I suspected it's browser, but then I updated this default setting is always the same.

    Can someone help me fix this please?

    I am Using Wi - fi Connection to connect the app on my phone, but since I started to use BlackBerry z10 he constantly sinks in connection with home wifi router in addition it also disables wifi radio so that even make any another device branch ed on this router disconnected to the router. Solution is to this problem is that I have to restart my router every time.

    I am using BlackBerry Z10 for the last 4 weeks and BlackBerry for 3 years, and so far all very well, with this new phone until yesterday. I was using the phone normally when all of a sudden, he stops himself and since it restarts itself I can't change my notification profiles, it is stuck on the silence, my LED doesn't flash when I get texts, it is impossible.     Solution!
    (1) while playing music:
    (2) open the back cover,
    3) press the buzzer of connection on the back (just below the location of the battery). Even now, I managed to apply pressure to the power supply without removing the lid, while playing music. It works!
    (4) fixed!

    In fact, I had my replaced BlackBerry until I knew the Solution. Not even the carriers know this solution! Thank you BlackBerry to another question on the flagship model. Disappointed. .. .and this from a massive loyal BlackBerry user... and creating this forum account to be able to help other users, pain!

  • BlackBerry Z10 problem with reception and to make a call after updating to OS.

    I just updated my Z10 STL100-3 model with the new operating system 10.3.2.2168. Now, I can not answer incoming calls. The phone rings, but there is no screen to answer or reject the call. I am also unable to unlock while the phone is ringing. Once the caller hangs up the normal opening if Poster Advisor I missed a call and then allows me to unlock the phone. When you place a call, the screen does not change for me to end the call. In other words, I touch the contact and it will automatically start the numbering, but the screen does not respond or don't change to indicate that the call is made. Then I need to cut the phone to hang up!

Sometimes the update process have errors and others... with a reload often cure the problems.

    Official methods, which will be controlled as to what exact OS versions are available:

    Unofficial methods, which are cleaner and allow you to choose a version of the OS that maybe your carrier (or anyone they control your offers) delays in approval (unless you're on 10.3.2, in which case 10.3.1 and earlier are now blocked, but you should be able to use any 10.3.2 it's official):

    Of course, before you start this, you want a good backup link, a manual copy of the memory of your device to your PC and complete documentation of your configuration (identification information of account, adding applications, configurations, etc.). Sometimes, restoring a backup returns unit corruption even, must be eliminated and reconfiguration from scratch can solve that.

I tried to update my Z10 BB software on the web and via a USB port, I entounter error saying 'an error occurred during the download of software for your device.  Please check your internet connection or try again later, if the problem persists.

    When I use a WI - FI connection on my phone I get a message saying "unable to connect to the server found. Please check your network connection settings or try again later. "

    What can I do?

    I managed to update my DaveBear.

    You can try this, it worked for me.

    1. update your Blackberry link first

    2. connect your phone to your pc

    3. don't backup device

    4. click on the update of the installation

    I can't get this Z10 updated past 10.1.0.2019. I google and serached and read tons of messages, but I get a bit of luck.

    Details of the phone:

    • Z10 BB
    • STL100-3
    • Version SW 10.1.0.2019
    • Network at & T (USA)

    Things I've tried:

    • OTA: Fails with "no software upgrades available"
    • Update in IE Web site: "There is no updates of BlackBerry device software"
    • BB link (downloaded the latest 1.2.4.28 on Windows 7): "you BlackBerry device has the latest software available.
    • I did a reset to restart the device to the factory settings
    • I removed the SIM card (and the battery)
    • I turned off location services

    Everything I read indicates that there should be at least an update 10.2.1.x available, I'd be happy with that. 10.3.x would be great, but I'm not holding my breath.

    Any ideas?

    What you describe is "automatic"... Update methods which are completely controlled by your carrier regarding whether you want to receive updates with these methods.

    If you want to bypass the controls of your carrier and update in any case, your choices are Knowyou (non-destructive data) and the automatic charger (100% destructive to your existing data).

    I have been using BlackBerry Z10 for a year. I was very satisfied with the performance of the device. I am indeed! but do not know what happening sudenly I'm unable to find any contact which is already available in the contacts app (NOTE: I do not use 3rd party app to store my contacts)

    Sort contacts by name

    View the contact as -firstly, the last

    Show the accounts in the list of contacts:

    Contacts from the SIM card

    Search using cloud is UNCHECKED.

    Every now and then my BlackBerry z10 comes up with the message "your account login information (Yahoo!) - has changed or is incorrect." ' Update your login information and try again "sometimes it is true, most times it is not.

    Any ideas why this happens?

    Then do this...

    Settings > accounts > tap your Yahoo account and tap on delete bottom.

    Restart your Z10 now the power button on top edge in about 20 seconds, until the screen goes black and it starts a restart.

    Go back to settings > accounts and add the yahoo account.

    Also, what is your operating system loaded on your device? From the main screen, drag to the bottom of the black bezel that is superior to the settings > everything... What is the Version of the OS that there are listed?  Once you have upgraded to OS 10.2.1 question will cease (as long as Yahoo has no problem of server).

    Unbranded means not labeled by carrier. I don't want to say locked. That you bought a BlackBerry AT & T of the Amazon and unlocked, it is still an AT & T BlackBerry.

    Well, what you did is not a normal action (a DEV OS on a production unit of loading), it seems that 'normal' patches are for some reason any does not.
