  • Samsung BD Player reports HTTP port is disabled.

As the subject says, I hung a Samsung BD player on a BEFSR41 router. The router has the current version of the firmware. When I run the test connection to the player, the local connection is good but the Internet connection fails and the message is "HTTP port is disabled."

I searched high and low for a solution without success. I did research on the forum and could not find anything. A test, I connected the BD drive directly on the ADSL modem and Internet connection worked perfectly, it seems that the block is in the router.

I have serched through the configuration of the router and changed most of the settings to try to find something that would work. Nothing worked, so I go back to my installation to its original state.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Found the solution!

The problem was with the help of the automatic configuration. The configured router allows you to enter 3 DNS servers. The router is smart enough to try all 3 to resolve a domain name. However, Samsung grabs only first that of the router during autoconfiguration. If the first is bad, no internet connection. By manually setting the DNS server in the Samsung with a valid DNS server, everything is good. Or better yet, make sure the first value of the router DNS server are valid.

Hard to hunt, this is the error message given by the player who the "HTTP port is disabled." So bad, it did not something like "Cannot resolve the domain name."

  • How to change HTTP port programmatically?

    Hello

I would like to know if it is possible to change the http port on a server managed by program without repeating the server?

Could it be perhaps with a JMX MBean?

    Greetings,
    Améo

    Hi Améo,

One more thing... As soon as you accelerate that program... Once the server change port, you will get "* PeerGoneException *"... This is because the Server Port is changed... Now the MBeanServerConnection object no longer able to be connected to the old Port. It's good... So when you write try {} catch {} block to handle this exception, and then create a fresh MBeanServerConnection to connect save() and activate().

Please mark the thread as answered as well... ;) Just for the simplicity of a few users who comes to read messages answered...

  • VPN connection to access the content server on the HTTP port only

    Hello

We have ASA5520, and we want to set up an IPSEC VPN profile so that one of our partners can access a server and only on the HTTP port.

I tried to Configure tunneling split with an extended ACL, but probably I'm missing something. I just set up the ACL so that it included all source IP of our server on the HTTP port, but when testing, it did not work.

However, if I configure a Standard ACL on the split tunneling I can access the server and all services it provides.

Do you know if Miss me anything on the extended ACL configuration?

Should I configure it any other way?

    Thanks in advance.

    Best regards

    Igor

    Hi Igor,.

To do this, you must use a VPN filter.

    Please see this:

PIX / ASA 7.x and later: example of filter (allowed specific Port or Protocol) Configuration L2L VPN and remote access

    * Split tunneling should be a Standard ACL.

  • Change according to the instructions of vmware tomcat http port, still gives error

According to this doc, Centre of Documentation of vSphere 5.5 I should be able to change the tomcat port http.  But once I do, I see the errors below.  I guess there are other conf files to change, but I can't find those who.  I need to change the port to something else than my failure to support another agent of products I need on the vcenter server.

Impossible to recover data on the health of https://localhost:443/VSM/health.XML

Impossible to recover data on the health of https://localhost:443/EAM/eamService-Web/health.XML

Thanks for the reply.  After working with support and troubleshooting a bit to mine, vmware help has found a workaround.

I stopped the services of vcenter server and Web services.

I changed the port 8082 to meet my needs in the bio line - vmssl.http.port = 8082 in the file C:\Program Files\VMware\Infrastructure\tomcat\conf\catalina.properties

VMware support also noted this line in that same case, bio - vmssl.https.port = 8443

We changed the 8443 port to meet my online " https://localhost:8443/eam/eamService-web/health.xml " present in the section configuration in the file C:\Program Files\VMware\Infrastructure\VirtualCenter Server\extensions\com.vmware.vim.eam\extension.xml

We changed the 8443 port to meet my online " https://localhost:8443/vsm/health.xml " present in the section configuration in the file C:\Program Files\VMware\Infrastructure\VirtualCenter Server\extensions\com.vmware.vim.vsm\extension.xml

    I changed the port 8082 in line http://127.0.0.1:8082/vsm/ovfConsumer / in the file C:\Program Files\VMware\Infrastructure\VirtualCenter Server\extensions\com.vmware.vim.vsm\extension.xml

I started the server vcenter and webservices.  Then I start the service in a conflict that also used the port 8081, I have since the change of port 8082 in my configuration of vcenter.  In my case, port 8081 used for communication of McAfee Agent throughout our whole environment.  After all this, no error is reported by the vcenter service monitor, and I can hit the URLS of health via a browser and get a valid answer.

  • Essbase 11.1.2.1 without http server

    Hello

Ive tried to install the stand-alone Essbase 11.1.2.1. And my question is, is it mandatory to go with the http server. Cause under normal circumstances, from the OHS opmn instance starts apache.exe process in my server which we do not want to be running. I came across a few docs and one of Jean post where I found the workaround below.

"To configure the registry of SSP without having to install applications Web Services Foundation:

1.demarrez EPM System Configurator of the command-line, including the option - forceRegistry
Starting from a console window, change to EPM_ORACLE_HOME/common/config/version_number and enter configtool.bat - forceRegistry.
On UNIX, change to EPM_ORACLE_HOME/common/config/version_number and then tapez./configtool.sh - forceRegistry. »

This method will ensure that we can run without http server, thus eliminating the process apache.exe to the server?

    Thank you

OPMN is part of the installation of OSH in 11.1.2.1 but this does not mean THAT OHS will run for essbase deployment.
If you deploy OSH then another service OPMN will be created running OSH.

Essbase can be started from the command line or Windows OPMN for example service opmn_EPM_

  • vCenter Question Upgrade (requirement of http and https ports)

    Hello

In vSphere Upgrade Guide, the documentation clearly indicates "vCenter Server 4.0 uses TCP/IP Ports 80 and 443, you _cannot _run vCenter Server on the same computer as a webserver using these ports, because this causes conflicts of port.

Now in the vCenter has always allowed me to change the ports by default during the installation, not only do this to avoid conflicts?  My current virtualcenter server using ports 80 and 443 for a bunch of websites and I can't move.  I don't have another server that has these free ports.

If any of you have changed the default http and https ports during installation (I even do that)?  Problems?  All comments in general?  VCenter even use these ports for?  I searched but could not find a definitive answer.

This is a very critical level and I'd rather not start it until I know exactly what to expect.

    Thank you!!

Well the port 80 and 443 are generally webservices 80 http 443 https, it is no different with virtual center, they are used for web access to manage virtual machines etc.

and yes I have changed these on a server vc, when access to the content of the web services via the browser enough ":" at the end of the address

change change will require virtual center of service needs to be restarted

  • Remote Server Update Manager with different http port

To put it simply, I think I might have some problems, but I installed the update on a remote server Manager (and not on the VC server) and since he also manages the WSUS updates, I couldn't use port 80 for the http port so I changed it to 81.  I have problems with the VC connection to Manager Update server.  I can't download the plugin to activate it.  Also, I noticed that there is a full installation of the 2.5u3 on our server of VC, which also included the Update Manager.  Should I uninstall that before the new one would connect upward?

  • Trouble when not specify the HTTP port

    Hey all,.

I'm trying to install JRUN4/IIS and deploy a web application that accesses servlets. I'm fairly positive that almost everything is set up very well because the servlet needs out of XML, however, I get a 404 error, if I DO NOT specify the HTTP port that uses the server - for example, my server is called frank and i've got things configured so that newsite.here.com translates into frank and things pull his IIS. Long story short, I can get out of my servlet if I specify the HTTP port that it is using such as:

    http://NewSite.here.com:8303 / htmlcontent.View

However if I access it as:

    http://NewSite.here.com/htmlcontent.view

In addition, newsite.here.com should resolve correctly because there are several other pages JSP/etc I can access this site.

Can someone point me in a direction to look? Thank you.

Did you run the web server configuration tool (wsconfig.exe)? See http://livedocs.macromedia.com/jrun/4/Installing_JRun/servconf.htm.

  • HTTPS (port 443) is blocked http works very well. I tried everyting HELP

    Hello everyone.

I have a portable 10 year old (I know it's old but I like this one, it's like a glove) I use XP.  I was typing on the words and suddenly power went blue and you could say that the hard drive was running.  It looks a little as if it was the safe mode.  In any case, I closed (taken wide) and restarted.  It restarted very well except that now, if I try to go https ie8 says it cannot display this Web page.  All the other http works very well.  I tried pretty much anything I could even under ie8 advanced tools by ensuring that all types of https have been verified but nothing helped.  I scanned the computer for viruses with norton 360 and found 3 numbers that he corrected with an annotation that port 443 is blocked.  Nowhere I can find how solve the problem... can someone help

    Thank you very much

I suspect this has to do with a setting of your Windows Firewall, but it is a forum for Vista, and you need help from specialists of the XP.
